I tell you I’ve view many commentaries on Matt 17:24-27 that didn’t make sense until I listened to this message my mind was clear and I got such an understanding plus extra knowledge on other things. I’m grateful Google led me to this message. Thank you. ❤👏🏾👏🏾
I do have to say, as the church we have dropped the ball, bc now everyone doesn't want to offend anyone, and now the teaching is poor and people have no idea what's right or wrong, and we are letting our society crumble instead of calling it out. 😔.
You only need to avoid offense when it comes to winning someone or not causing someone to stumble. You don’t need to just go ahead and follow every tradition men try to place on you.
Too many churches now obey the government (priests of the IRS Lawyer's temple) demanding obedience rather than obeying real Pastors of God's Word. We have already capitulated to the fear of social repercussions.
Nowadays everyone gets offensive for little to big things. Social Media allows all to have a voice. If you don't like what one says or does..you can delete, block or remove. What most people do to The Truth, The Bible or JESUS as well. Hardly anyone will post the truth of our sin, flaws or struggles.
Or ppl get offended if you tell them Jesus is God and their religion says differently... Shoot, they may not even practice the religion they were raised on but just the fact you said different than they were told by their parents or society... Example "Islam"... Ya know what I mean
