He’s got a way of really punctuating certain moves. Like everyone’s doing more or less the same dance but Hyunjin really makes it HIS MOVES with striking flair that always grasps the viewers attention.
One thing I love about Hyunjin is his phenomenal switches between hard hitting and smooth moves. He does it so effortlessly the hard moves slap you in the face and keep you interested. He also switches facial expressions to match whatever move he's doing. I don't even think he's conscious of some of his expressions, they just come naturally as he is dancing.
I think he mentioned once in an interview that he’s really detail oriented to the point that he even focuses on what his face is doing while dancing. I think the host had complimented him on his good visuals and I could be wrong but they sorta made it seem like it comes easy for him and Hyunjin mentioned that he practices them. I have no doubt that he puts a lot of thought into the Impact the right expression makes when doing certain moves.

He has insane stage presence and his practice definitely shows. He was a blank slate when he started so to have that much power now is absolutely insane! He reminds me of Taeyong. Both started as blank canvases and people still reduce them to their looks despite being some of the best dancers in the industry right now. Both are my ults not because of looks (though they are hot as hell) but because I'm drawn to monster-like stage presence and dancing

Our prince of facial expressions, stage presence and expressive dance is back. I’m glad we can talk about his dancing more then his visuals, he’s always been so passionate towards dance and it shows, he’s worked to prove himself to the point where it’s hard to find a flaw in his dancing and he always stands out because he’s that good. We’ve seen how captivating his fancams usually are, honestly I’m not mentally prepared for the upcoming set of Hwang Hyunjin fancams that we will get from this comeback and the next.

he's such an incredible performer. his facial expressions are out of this world, you can see his passion when he dances and it's so clear how much he enjoys performing. hyunjin and the stage are one. he always puts 110% of his efforts into everything that he does and he constantly keeps improving himself and wanting to do better. whenever he dances, he captivates the audience so much to the point where you feel like you're hypnotized by his moves and by his charisma. it's hard to have so much stage presence, especially in such a young age, but hyunjin does that flawlessly. I can literay never take my eyes off of him, I could watch him dance forever. I'm so proud of him, he's truly one of the best dancers in the whole industry.
