  • A delicious and nutritious sweet for the little ones in the house!
    Ingredients
    1/2 cup of washed raw quinoa
    2 1/2 cups of fresh milk
    1/2 cup of sugar
    1 egg yolk
    2 1/2 cups of water
    1 cinnamon stick
    Orange zest
    Lemon zest
    1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
    Ground cinnamon
    cut strawberries
    Preparation
    In a saucepan over medium heat, bring the water to a boil along with a cinnamon stick. When it has boiled, add the quinoa and let it boil for 25 minutes. Strain if excess water remains.
    Remove the cinnamon and add the milk, sugar, zest and vanilla. Continue cooking, stirring, for 25 minutes or until the quinoa is very soft and the desired thickness has been reached. Remove from the heat and let warm.
    Beat the yolk and add it little by little to the preparation. Mix well.
    Serve with ground cinnamon and cut strawberries.
    Advice
    Be sure to add the yolk when the preparation is warm and not hot. If the preparation is hot, the yolk will cook, and you don't want that.
