I know a few people who’ve climbed it, of course not allowed to. There’s a few weird things around great baddow that not many people know of but I’ve always wondered what this thing was that I live next to
It looks like it's still in very good repair given its age and transport from Canewdon. I've never quite worked out the reason for the platforms, obviously their purpose was to allow different aerials to combat Nazi jamming but I'm not sure whether the aerials were strung between the different platforms on one mast or between platforms on adjoining masts. I'd also like to know whether they were jammed and therefore to what degree they were over-engineered.
Hi Ryan, Sorry for the delay. It is DJI Phantom 3 Pro. they are very competitively priced now as their is a newer generation out. Check out drones direct they are always carrying the best price.

Thanks from those of us who worked on this site while it was the GEC Marconi Research Centre - a view we could not have imagined back in those days!

I want to Lattice Climbing on this old nice Tower.
Brilliant
I always wanted to climb it when I worked in the huts underneath it but was never allowed to.
Great video. Where has the hut gone? I hope this historically important structure can be preserved for the long term - it's so iconic.
Hi Richard,
The hut was taken down about a year before this was shot.
