Yeah I'm wondering if you can remove the lead cable from the mount and if you get your blinking light in your nods when the bat is running low. And run time on a CR123A
Updated Milsim guide. What to expect, how to get into milsim, playing in a squad. Like the one random trashy did but updated. Basic kit requirements. Maybe on a selfish note what to change kit wise from someone who has a mountaineering/climbing/hillwalking/wild camping background to fit in with the milsim kit lists.
Also would love a DMR build howto.
can I watch the NVG MOUNT COMPARISON with FMA GSGM and TMC DPAM?
It is very hard to compare those mounts so compare the DPAM and GSGM if you can.
Great video. I've just taken delivery of mine to replace a F4949 and have noticed when dropping the goggles down the mount pushes the goggles forward when completing the motion.
It may be the springs on the balls of my anvis being too strong and popping them forward but keen to hear if you had a similar experience?

I'm very sorry that you have had problems with JK army. I'm a Hong Kong local myself and I can tell you that the customer service has gone down hill since they acquired a new flagship shop in Hong kong. It's a shame because JK army has some really unique products and their customer service used to be stellar, one of my best friends used to work there

You could get a machinist to make some metal versions of those spring caps!? Wouldn't flex under the load then

No disrespect BUT , If you are using real NVGs ... Especially something as expensive as a dual tube system than it should be common sense to buy a real mounting system. But this does look like a sturdy piece of kit .
Kinda of defeated your own comment here, This provides just as good of a closure and functional item as the previous real steel item. Its new, so will it last at well ...who knows . but from first impressions it's very positive.
The Heresy Group would love to see an update video down the line seeing how it holds up. Cheers .

@@RandomTrashy no way a Chinese copy of the Wilcox GSGM is the same strength. They both may be “made of metal” and look similar, but that is where the similarities end.
Wilcox’s mounts are a work of art, and I highly, highly, highly, doubt a Chinese manufacturer has replicated the insane level of precision Wilcox has, even if they were able to sell this thing at $300, which I know they aren’t.
Wilcox GSGM/DPAM is $1500 for a reason.
@@rawhides it’s not hard to replicate anything. Quality means shit especially when a name brand is involved. Just look at PVS-31s. The L3 are now at quality combat with ATN and other Russian and Chinese companies because they are producing better, wider FOV. Better WPT Gen 3 NVGs for a fraction of the cost. The point is to make the same product or better and mass sell it. Not to make a shitty product and sell a few just to get a shit rep about quality. Things you would know if you actually understood marketing and financial analysis

Call me thick. But how does the power get from those little pin things to the nvgs? Does this only work with specific nods? 🤔
This mount design is proprietary to those with a ball detent system like anvis or GPNVG. The night vision has small metallic rails that the pins run against.
@@RandomTrashy ah right that makes sense. Shame they couldnt have made it a bit more accessible like having a second one with a wire style setuo that worked with more nvgs.
