- On today's episode of going to the WORST REVIEWED MAKEUP ARTIST, this salon was so filthy!!! I GOT AN EYE INFECTION - I had red dots around my eyes - I'm very lucky that it went away after a few days.

Okay listen! I am an ophthalmic technician and a makeup artist on the side. That is contact dermatitis! Be very careful with stuff like that because it can cause life long reactions.

@@babys8640 all of the above lol. More than likely, those tools have touched chemicals in the nail salon that are not safe for on the skin or eye area. And it’s filthy there, so yeah lol.
Hi Julia, thank you for entertaining us with the makeup vids, but please in future just walk straight back out if you come across these disgusting conditions again. No amount of entertainment is worth it to ruin your skin. I'm glad you're feeling better now ❤️🤗
My guess is that the air quality is toxic due to all of that mold. That’s why the MUA was constantly coughing. Honestly that place needs to be shut down.
SIS the fact that you're putting you skin in literal DANGER of skin infections and ailments is so scary and really exposes these so-called MUAs ruining the reputation of real licensed, and passionate MUAs! Thank you!
I hope your skin is ok Julia. I'd recommend walking out of filthy places. Maybe set an alarm on your phone for when you arrive to go off within a few minutes of arrival, so you can make an excuse that you have an emergency call and have to go or something! 😅 don't riak your health for us! And i wouldn't be shy about asking for a clean or new sponge.
Another thing that was really disgusting was how she kept coughing into her hands and then used her fingers to put the makeup on.
The shouting in the background would've driven me up the wall 😂

The splatter might be hair dye🤔 That stuff stains like crazy. I still can see spots on my wall (light). I even scrubbed with a magic cleaner. The coming into work sick gets my booty🤨 Wear a mask if your sick and work with the public (worked in the medical field and retail) and clean the equipment🤨 Be careful putting yourself through these that you don't catch something extremely serious 🐾😎

I would have walked out if dirty. Plus the brushes and sponges don’t look clean and I don’t like it when they use their fingers on the eyes plus whoever coughs in the background made me cringe as it’s so unhygienic

Jokes aside, call health inspection on them asap, you’re doing everyone a public service, including the employees who for sure are sick due to the health conditions on this place…
If you got contact dermatitis I would search for a good dermatologist asap, I deal with contact dermatitis since I was 9 (I’m now 30) and through lows and highs I still have it, it’s quite persistent
omg is that what I got (contact dermatitis) ewww, so lucky it cleared up within a few days - there won't be a next time- I will just walk out if I walk into another filthy salon 😵💫🤮

I have seen quite a few of these worst make up artist videos, but this by far, was the absolute epitome of disgusting. Here in Canada, this would’ve been shut down in a nanosecond. They would’ve been given a timeframe in which to improve the situation, been reinspected before being allowed to reopen.

That dirty wall and trash area was pretty gross. The person coughing the entire time made me cringe. I thought she did an amazing job on your makeup. The eye color, lashes, and blush were beautiful on you. I can't imagine being spit on by her and not demanding to wash your face. That would have disgusted me. I'm sure glad you didn't have to see a doctor for your reaction.

The red spots looked like blood spots. This happens when the pressure behind your eyes is too strong. This often happens from vomiting or losing your breath during bad coughing fits.

Yeah it was like the time u got a reaction to that mua putting jewels on your eye corners. Defo an allergic reaction to something she has used i got it once when i used a different mascara than normal. Hope you r ok now 😊

Julia, It was probably the blender sponge,, she kept rubbing it around your eyes and it must've been dirty...you definitely need to go to the dermatologist.
