If Brunson would switch mentality from score first to pass first it would open him up more and get him open looks. A dribble pump fake side step would either draw fouls or clear a passing lane for him too
Good breakdown. But one other variable that the Knicks haven't seemed to consider as of yet, is that Joel Embiid currently has no lift....so right now he's not really much of a shot-blocking threat. The Knicks haven't exploited this, and are instead still approaching the games a bit timid in the paint because in the back of their mind they're seeing Joel Embiid as a shot-blocking threat. IMHO, the Knicks should indeed challenge Embiid on the inside, and force him to attempt to block-shots. Embiid can barely even jump for rebounds right now. The 76ers seem to be just 'bluffing' by having Embiid in the paint. The guy cannot jump right now, and every time he does, he winces in pain. Call their bluff.

If JB can use all the attention he's getting to help Hartenstein get like 5 of those lil floaters and maybe a few lobs to Robinson. While also getting OG involved, it would open a lot for him. He's looking for his shot waaay too often, I feel that Philly wants him to do so. Also, I would force Joel to be the primary defender EVERY TIME he attempts a shot. He shouldn't be able to conserve energy. Make him jump up and down on that knee.

I hate the Triangle Offense with the Center setting a pick on the post. They should play more open floor offense.
