Alcohol denature is on the 10th ingredient, drying the skin is not the issue, denaturing the (skin) cells is. However, as the 10th on the list, if you prep your skin with serum, moisturizer (primer) this is not a problem. Full coverage or not really depends on how "dog" one's skin is.
Denatured alcohol is the worst for anti aging, infact is pro aging. Regardless of coverage etc this product is supposed to help with again and its marketed for mature skin. My whole point was this is the opposite of that, its harmful over all for your skin.
Also it's the 5th cosmetic ingredient where as there are 4 types of sunscreen but you dk how they fall on ingredients, so alcohol is the 5th cosmetic ingredient which means theres alot of it, in this formula. Definitely not anti aging.
LOOVE your drugstore makeup videos! 💙💙💙 and I adore that you use regular lighting it's just so hard to see if they're real look of the makeup on most of these Beauty channels
Thank you so much! I so totally agree, theres a couple big youtubers I love but you can never actually see their skin. It always looks way better with the lights filtering their skin out. It makes me so mad lol so I knew with my channel I wanted everyone to see my skin, the good, the bad, and the ugly lol
It's crazy how you said this foundation didn't look good in person, because on camera your skin LITERALLY looks flawless. No pores, airbrushed and it looks like the "glass skin" trend, which is GORGEOUS!
I was so excited to try this product, but the alcohol content is high. It is all I smell when I open it. Won’t use it. Does the maybelline have denatured alcohol too?
LOVE your eye look, so gorg!! I also appreciate very much that you use NATURAL light w/o ring lights, etc. I'm so annoyed w popular youtubers that mostly test out foundations on their channels and you cannot see the color, texture, or coverage of imperfections (which everyone has) bc of their blown out lighting. So thank you! I love watching your videos usually whatever you like I do so its nice to find someone on RUclips that has your skin type.
Thank you so much, and I totally agree. Lights not only wash out your skin it's almost like using a filter. I love taylor Wynn but in her foundation reviews she's so fair skinned as it is and then the lights just wash her out completely. You cant even see how texture and how the foundation covers it. Because you're right everyone has imperfections, but alot of big youtubers you just cant see theirs. Dont get me wrong I get why they use lights. Its alot harder to film with natural lighting. You have to film when you can, when nature allows lol but it's worth it in ny book for yall to actually see my skin, and eyeshadow colors for what they really are. And again thank you so much! I appreciate it, and i have a tutorial with this eye look coming soon!!! 💕

Hello. Rather than individually addressing the "not so nice" comments about the "mature" foundation issue I thought I would write you a thank you. Although I know a great deal about skin , being for former professional, I know little about makeup. I have found You Tube a wealth of information, for which I am grateful. Being new to You Tube I am shocked at the level of nastiest that occurs. It is as if some of these folks can't beat their spouse or dog or whatever (I am joking) so they are taking their meanness out of folks like you on. Unwarranted. I am in the demographic of "mature". Hell, I'd rather be called mature, than old, senior, etc. Not to keen on being called "young lady" but I try to look at the intent v. the words. My slogan is: "We Boomer Have Gone Bust". Which means that along with out bodies failing us we are often in chronic pain. This never excuses the meanness I have seen, from both young and old, on these sites. Get educated. Yes, there are foundations that are targeted to teenagers with acne which may include salicylic acids. So why not a foundation targeted to my demographic? Typically the skin care needs are very different. This is a marketing strategy to the Boomers pure and simple. So if you find that offensive then write Loreal. Don't beat up on the You Tubers that are attempting to educate us. Anyway thank you for the education.
I appreciate this, and yes I totally understand they do market some things for teens etc and I so get how as you age your skincare concerns are vastly different than before. I am going thru that personally lol as sad as it is, the internet is just down right brutal, people are mean. Yes, I said what I said because I meant it, not in any mean way towards "mature" ppl or that they shouldn't have products targeted towards them, just because I thought loreal was missing out on other buyers. The concealer from this line I really do enjoy. I still use it all the time, but had I not been a RUclipsr I may not have tried it because it was geared towards "mature" skin. I don't fall into that category yet, but again I still love the product. I also love your slogan 😉❤️
@@VanessaElleBeauty Hopefully you understand my comments were geared towards the woman that said something along the lines of "they don't market foundations to teens". Not what you said in response. But again, thank you for helping with my makeup education. I tried it and it sort of felt a little itchy. So you find that it’s “ridiculous” that L’Oréal is marketing this specific line for us mature women???? When older women are grossly underrepresented in makeup, even for “anti-aging products” they use 20 something’s for advertising!!!!! We, mature woman have the buying power so it’s about time that a line is geared towards our population. It’s not that deep sis.
If it's not that deep then why are you commenting? Lol I think its ridiculous that they are narrowing their market with their advertising. I think its ridiculous that anyone would think they cant use a beauty or skincare product because of its marketing. I can say I have been using anti aging skincare since my early 20s, and everyone should get ahead of aging. I also think its ridiculous that they marketed this specifically for mature WOMEN when it is actually terrible for your skin. This is supposed to be beneficial for your skin and unfortunately that's a lie.... I'm sorry if you dont like the way I worded something, but I say what I feel and that's the joy of youtube. The reason why the L’Oréal foundation looks and smells like the maybelline is because they are same products. If you look at the ingredients they are practically the same just listed differently in order. With this foundation it completely negates being for older people when it’s the same as the dream urban. Which I was not a fan of that foundation.
Thank you for mentioning the SD Alcohol in this product. That negates any (extremely small) benefits the serum might have had in this product. Your review was excellent!

I looked on the Loreal website and it breaks the shades in groups of fair-light, medium, etc.
