We bought 2 of the blue models and they are by far the best fans/blowers we have owned for helping cool and circulate air in the house. South Texas Summer heat is no joke and these puppies help fight it. Well worth the cost and better performance and noise reduction to comparatively priced metal bladed shop fans.
Haha, My Wife is American born in Thailand she also can't go without AC. She says she can't breath in the car without AC 😂. I've been to Thailand many times and I can't stand outside for more than 20 minutes without dripping beads of sweat. America softens people.

Hello I'm in NJ we're currently having poor air quality warnings due to fires I. Canada my apartment is ridiculous hot as we do not control the heat the landlord does ....will this alone cool down a small open concept living room and kitchen?

I have one of those worked for a year.....Now it makes noise when turned on, works but makes alot of noise....
You probably need to open it up and a drop or two of 3 in 1 Motor oil (blue label on bottle) to the fan motor. I have done it to tables fans, tower fans, and those tower heaters whenever they start making noises. It usually fixes the issue. Also give it a good cleaning while you at it. All the dust and lint that get sucked in might cause the motor to over heat and not last long.

We're not experts or technicians so proceed with caution and it will be your decision to do whatever it is that you decide to do.... But, Lasko would probably advise contacting them directly. Maybe look online for someone that does electronics repairs. Many people have experience and do that as a side gig(you can search on facebook or something like that) possibly what may help(again, proceed with caution and this is entirely up to you and your own decision to proceed or not-we're not experts) ...what I would do, just me, Unplug it and open it up and check it out because something may be loose inside now. Maybe if it's something simple(say a lose wire or something) , I can just put it back into place. If something broke off and isn't too important to the operation of the fan, I'd remove it and slap it back together. Maybe something just came loose inside, if it still sort of works and just makes noise. There is a possibility that the blower fan is out of place, you'll need to try and remedy that. But yeah, opening it up would be the first thing I would do(just me). Just make sure it's unplugged.. Of course.
