Taiwanese accent is very very hard. At least for me that I'm used to mainland mandarin. But I want to understand them too, so I'll keep listening to comprehend more
I understand your pain. I'm the opposite because I have lived in Taiwan, but find that some mainland accents are more difficult to understand. Most difficult aspect is that they use different words for some things.

If you’re familiar with the southern accents, it’s really not that different; both of them have trouble with the retro flex consonants, erhua, etc. But if you’re coming at it from the north like Beijing or Shanghai then yeah, you’re screwed. Hope you pick it up well!

why did you translate 假日 as weekend and 平常审议 as weekday? 2:27
平常 is ordinary, so like ordinary days... 假日 is like holidays (no working day) and 生意 is business...
In Taiwan I sometimes see signs with different prices for services, on which they say, e.G. 假日: 200$, 平日: 100$ etc... 假日 in that context usually always means weekends, and not (public) holidays. So to me the translation is ok.
