For me, it's the drop rates mixed with mobile feel. Your are limited to your tokens for that day. You can spend all day farming the underworld dungeons and get 3 gear drops that are useless traits for your build and sell for 30 lucent and just day after day grinding and farming till you swipe or quit the game is the issue
I feel like being gated to 30 coops a day is painful, I could just wait a couple of days and spend the tokens at once, but then can’t do much in a day, Mobile game with good graphics
I've made $20 worth of lucent selling stuff I looted in world dungeons and coop dungeons. If you know what sells you can accomplish a lot. Only real problems are p2w pvp players.
its limitless for me because i drained all my token and get it back in full or almost full like in 2-3 night. i already made around 10k+ just from farming i beat most of p2w with 0% usage of brain only swipe their card and dont learn how to play in 1 day cycle i have like 3 days worth of both tokens
I feel like the only people talking the way you talk, are those without a guild or friends. With a guild or friends you have A LOT of things to do, activities with them, help them, raid bosses to attend to, dungeons with PVP raids and so on.
In this game I keep asking myself why I'm grinding and my answer is because that's what you do in mmo's... I have nothing I want to do in T&L there's no cool bosses I want to fight, idc about pvp in this game because it's to simple it's whoever get their stun off first wins, and the story isn't the best. So I asked myself why I'm grinding, then I stopped.
I am near this point too. I made 2 chars, reached 3000cp and got some good gear. Now I just do the same repeated process every day with the dailies basically. Endgame PvP is not good in this game, compared to other mmos.
The PVE is time gated. Daily tokens don't last 30 minutes when you're over 3k CP. Never getting anything from doing hundreds of world bosses and simultaneously watching your under geared GL get 4 in 1 day. Not enough of an MMORPG adventure, too much mobile time-gating. Still fixable. Hopefully they do, because it has HUGE PVE POTENTIAL.
you can recharge your Abyss Tokens and Dungeon Tokens with the Chests on Saurodoma Island at night, there are chests that give you 300-600-900 Dungeon tokens & thousands of Abyss Tokens. If you're not trying to take advantage of this, of course you're going to stagnate and feel gatekept.
keep in mind, time gated and lockout are separate thing in wow there is a finite amount you can grind same with ffxiv, this just prevents you from getting rewards like those games... without a sub
Guild alliance gate keeping is one of the worst things about this game. Don't get me wrong, i really enjoy this game. Zerg guild alliances will kill this game.
It really depends on the server, but yes. This is a problem for a lot of folks and lets see how the devs are going to adjust conflict bosses for the future.
i think the guild/alliance system itself is not even the problem. The fact that mass > class is the problem. Same thing in new world - you had one guild with 400 members (split between subguilds) against one with 100 and they steamrolled them in open world pvp (races), but then in a war where it was limitied (50 v 50) it was the complete opposite. Open world pvp should also have a higher focus on skill instead of just "who has the better zerg". The order of importance is Zerg > Zerg management > Gear > actual skill
To resolve this is I think I have a geniuses ideas, they need to make it like a dungeon that u have 3 dungeon loot chest to take every day, making it possible by making the peace boss will respawn every hour, and making the players can access the peace boss every day like 3 times per day, so that when a player I go online he can decide that he has 3 hours to take the 3 Peace Bosses, if he can only take just one peace boss for a moment then he can take other 2 later when he came back home after 8hours of work time or being not in a game for irl situations,
I think when people realize the game is more popular than pve they get tired of getting their ass cracked by dudes who dropped thousands of real life currency on the game.
people are discouraged by P2W because as a F2P player, you get to a point where your playtime is a glorified daily login, i get on do my dungeons hope and hope i hit something thats worth lucent so I can trait out the gear i acquired through pity system/dungeon luck. Then I do daily contracts and weave my weekly abyssal contracts in and open the pouches and hope i hit something. Getting the gear as a F2P isnt the hardest part, but getting said gear traited when all u can do is wait for a lucent pay day drop is discouraging. the repetitiveness of stuff doesnt help
This game is definetely not P2W. Me and my friends started last month on EU server, we all managed to get the full builds without spending any real money. You will just have to grind way more
@sorvex9 before all that ye it was bis :p and u do know that those will be relevant for a long time it's more of a long term goal but not too long for me tbh I'm making plenty lucent daily. My main is almost fully maxed out trait on all pieces. So after that I will work toward those. Easy peasy.
@@NATEDAWGG79 5% drops of coop dungeon with only 3 runs a day is just lame. The new 2 star dungeon will cost 450 tokens so 2 runs a day, with a larger purple drop poll meaning it won’t be 5% but maybe 1% to drop what you need. That will be a shot in the foot.
@@Xiknirhonestly I got almost every epic drop from Cave of slaughter in just 6-7 runs (3days) I even sell Some I didnt need to AH . I’ve put a lot of hours in the game ngl but from my experience it’s very doable to level up gear and get some solid traits f2p . I’ve spent 100$ tbh tho but what I got was ridiculous and am Not spending more on it . But still I think it’s doable
@@elaRRmanbro why comment you rng luck. You’re definitely a loser in real life. Anecdotal evidence doesn’t not mean it’s facts for everyone. You dummy.
Most people are quitting because you have to grind too hard for your average player. Most of my friends who got me into the game felt that the loot system was just entirely unrewarding
@ImpulseJojo I am also F2P, and had to work incredibly hard to get shit I wanted. I've only gotten a couple of random blue items from world bosses. I've ran over 100 dungeons, and just recently gotten everything I wanted from there. I ended up having to use Dimensional Essence tokens to get them
@@RaketoveKure yeah I don’t get why people are complaining rn. We have like 1/16th the content on a game that in my opinion does a better job than many of its competitors. Wild.
Bro these comments 🤓 "well I've won the lottery loads of times it easy"...... The majority of us are not so lucky the drop % are stupid especially with the daily caps
repetitive nature of the game. The fact that it seems like a lot to do and that there are many choices, but once you dive into any of the activities you realize they are time gated or bloated to slow you down to the point of boredom. The loud player base that want you to just suck it up and can't fathom anything being wrong with the game and not wanting change. There might not be many games that have a free to access model that do it well, but for 5-15 bucks a month you can get a game that does what this game does but just way better at every step.
Totally boring, 3.6k CP and nothing to do that is fun, no real endgame other that doing the same thing over and over again. The stunlock from GS makes pvp combat dumb, I love lying on the ground being pounded by 10 people and not playing the game for 6 seconds. World PVP is just a mess and lame AF, no battlegrounds, no where to actually PVP that feels rewarding. The game is actually a cash grab close mobile game they managed to market well enough to get MMO gamers to pick it up short term. Whole thing died in two weeks for me.
@@zuriman86 well, PvP is indeed not rewarding at all, specially ranked arenas, do you even gain anything? Old school mmos used to let you do as many dungeons as possible or at least with a few minutes of cooldown in between. Over world farming is a waste of time, open world dungeons you can burn all your tokens (if you don’t cape them) in less then an hour. So after 2 hours of game play, your left with not much too do. Dinâmica events? World bosses? The only way to increase the amount of coop dungeons you can do is saradouma island at night, if a big guild don’t destroys everyone else… MMORPG based on a mobile game… Tldr PvP is okey but not rewarding, 3 coop dungeons a day sucks. Welcome to FarmVille with weapons.
F2P works for the P2W players. it's that simple. free players will have to grind those resistance contract to acquire Token, so they can then grind the dungeons and maybe get some loot worth selling in the auction. The TOKEN is the gate keeper for the free players, grind for your rights to grind. lol
Yesterday at 8pm 3 world bosses were available in dungeons and some guild called in eclipse so it pretty much gated off the entrance for everyone lol. Yeah fuck this game
@@johnyy_7579 eclipse is cool. Is the only reward you get from PvP. Arenas don’t give anything, world boss with PvP might not drop shit. Open world PvP or at night in open world dungeons don’t reward you with anything. Top kills on server rewards you with eclipse.
I'm more a pvp player but even pvp is highly gate by guild, not even groups. The whole siege and guild pvp is really good but for single player or just having some real option and progress in pvp beside guild stuff is inexistent.
I join a coop dungeon for the first being expected to know every mechanic perfectly and if I die then I get kicked. They realize it’s coop right ? Working together? Not saying “ you suck go watch a RUclips video” how about offer new players tips and advice. 😅
How about not being lazy and just watch some dungeon guide? I never entered dungeon unprepared , and no one kicked me ever! You know co op doesn’t mean “take care for me”! It only takes 10 mins to understand the mechs of every boss!
@ I shouldn’t have to watch a guide ? It’s called using your words and explaining “ hey go here do this “ that’s what the purpose of a coop dungeon? It’s not about being lazy. People now don’t have a single brain cell to be able to figure anything out on their own, it’s just “ go watch. RUclips video “ gonna suck when you don’t have RUclips and you actually have to freaking think 😂 good luck tho
@@NAHK no I don’t please show me what’s wrong with going to a lobby and saying “ hey this is my first time , can you give me some advice as we go along ? “ if you can’t do that then yeah the game has a pretty toxic community.
For me it was the constant grinding for the weapon you want and when you finally get it, you have to level it up, then you have to farm all the traits you want or buy them from the AH. I want to play an MMO where I can go into a dungeon however many times I want and get the drop that I need without stupid daily limits and without having to level the weapon to LV9 and then trait it up. This mechanic is meant to keep you doing the same thing over and over again and eventually it makes you just want to pay real money to get what you want instead of spending the time (realistically) needed like other MMO games. Also, the drop rate from those world bosses is ridiculously low. The game is not fun and it's mean to keep you coming back over and over and over and over again until you get tired and just buy what you need using real money. Sad, because I really enjoyed the game in the beginning... Maybe Ashes of Creation will be better? I think a monthly sub MMO is what we really need, no this Free-to-Play stuff... Feels like a mobile phone game.
World bosses are a waste of time. I don’t understand why the guild has any right to the gear I worked for. I’m 20 bosses in and I have never seen gear from a work boss.
You've made great points, I would like to add this: A lot of people are annoyed by the gatekeeping aspekt of the game. The top guild is able to exploit eclipse in a way that kills whole servers when there is no competition.
Pvp is dumb. In an event instead be a team vs another. Is everyone vs everyone and you die in 2 second because aoe kill 100 players at once. 1 tornado and fire.. done... Pvp is pathetic
Your missing the main reason why ppl are quiting. Is because of the guild loot system. Getting scammed by guilds, and not having access to your world boss loot that you earn when it drops. Everything goes to the guild, only a few ppl get the good loot. Guild leader sells it for themselves. This is why ppl are quiting, and you also cant do good playing this game without a guild.
As a guild leader there is a setting to let members choose if they wish to give to guild or use for themselves. I always have this members choice option on Thats a pretty shady to take drops and give to only the top peeps or sell them. I suggest if your guild has this set to “guild only” to find another guild, plenty great ones out there. ❤🤘
Drops across the board are just terrible. Dungeons, world bosses, open world dungeons etc. The only real target farming is 7 times a week with your guild in raids. Pitying both weapons and bad rng is toxic. I still have not seen a purple fishing rod from amitoi or keys. Everything is just timed and gated. Feels bad not to have an actual positive progression for pve focused items, something to work towards not just leave it all to chance.
I think its a niche type of game that appeals to a certain type of people. For casuals, its really not a game that's enjoyable. The advancement system is really convoluted. Leveling gear, doing traits, transferring, stacks etc. You have to really do your research to even understand how it works. Its definitely not beginner friendly. The guild ststem is honestly kind of garbage. Having drops go to a guild that determines who gets it is pretty wild. You have to be in your large guild and have their blessing to get a weapon. If you're interested in logging on for free time, there's almost no reason to play. Its a cool concept but definitely for a niche audience.
The pay to win aspect will always destroy player numbers. The business model is to have a very few people pay a lot rather than a lot of people pay a little. Most people just play until the wall then quit. Its what I did in ESO, GW2, Neverwinter, and now T&L.
I played a p2w game for over a decade it cost like 1.5k dollars "during sale" to get the best armor in the game. Then it was hundreds to refine it then another thousand to shard/trait the gear. After all that you still weak must invest in other systems for more power. I could probably sell my account for 20k. Goons have no idea what p2w is. The fact you listed ESO as p2w lol.
Yet so many Reddit ppl say this games not P2W and Whales can’t win while my server is controlled by whale guild 😮 but the Reddit ppl keep claiming they can’t win 😂. Yes a F2P player can progress to endgame with time but a P2W player can come in day 1 buy and trait the bis gear make multiple huge guilds Day1 with the best players and lock the entire server down that is called an advantage. No one on my server that is casual can not stand up to this guild most hard cord F2P guilds can’t. They have tried and just get wiped constantly. I have been a part of 4 now that where hardcore PvP guilds that F2P that just died because GMs quit due to this guild abuses of eclipse and other systems the guild admitted to also using cheats and said you can find many we use right in you tube. Then they don’t except anyone but whales or streamers but most of them knew each other prior from other games as guy sat down and talked to me said they been doing this for 20 years run through games like locust and ruin it and they don’t compete amongst each other because it’s funnier to watch everyone else cry in chat his words. He said they plan to do this on Ashes next as well. They will eventually leave my server and ruin others on Throne before they leave his words.
Playing this on ps5 sucks, you can't buy lucent in the store, after you hit 50 there isn't much to do if you don't like pvp and the weapons and gear are to dammed hard to level up. The Koreans need to keep their games in Korea, stop releasing this crap in the west.
Yeah the game has a pretty shitty community when it comes to helping people. A majority of players are 10 year olds living with their parents that don’t know how to communicate to team mates. People really don’t play games the same anymore it’s all about getting the loot and gear and being the “best” on a video game. Not having experiences with your friends.
@@Gamelover22478 Thats something I noticed as well in general compared to other games, community is a bit more toxic in general. Some people say its because most of the players come from Black Desert? Never played that game so I don't know if that makes any sense.
I officially decided to stop playing today. Past 2 days I have logged in.. walked around... didn't feel like doing anything. Queued for a single dungeon, decided I was bored afterwards then logged out. Today I logged in, walked around, and didn't even queue for one of their boring ass dungeons. I will check back in when T2 comes out, as It looks like they are actively trying to gut all the Korean MMO BS out of it, at least it seems so. So maybe that and some fixes to combat and stuff will help later. But I don't see the game making it past February if it doesn't make some drastic changes. I find it hard to understand how PVP players would be satisfied either. There is barely any. Unless you constantly queue arena, the PVP is hard scheduled with large gaps between.
Even arena is a brain dead shit show. GS/Dagger everytime you get stun locked into a one shot combo. Zero skill involved pressing a button and teleporting to someone then stunning into oblivion. I deleted this game today and will never return it’s clearly just a cash grab.
I haven’t quit but do find myself playing less. I log in for the discord friends I made, but not so much for the game itself. 300hrs in and gotten 1 world boss drop and 1 drop I actually needed from a dungeon. And the same goes for the people I play with. Non of us ever got anything from expeditions, fishing and maybe 1 extra amitoi from gathering. I think the biggest “mistake” the devs are making, is treating western players the same as the Koreans, where there are actually huge differences, both positive and negative.
So TLDR: Guilds have to much power , gate keeping, cheating, guilds scamming new players and casuals , forced Co Op and Gate keeping behind it preventing progression, Whales having to much power. Are reasons I quit they need to fix Guild loot and the power they have and then fix the forced Co Op progression that is allowing gate keeping make it so Co Op is optional not forced. These things would make me consider it again but I can’t play and progress in its current state. Especially as a console player.
Happens to every MMO release these days. Generation of dopamine chasers who race to max lvls then complain there is "no content" because they skipped it all.
Thank you, been saying this but when I mention it I feel like people think I’m crazy that this is also the issue as to why so many quit. These days it’s all about mid maxing, and rushing to end game content just to bitch and complain there is no content. Also guides have ruined the exploration of games leaving the new feel left out because now you know…. And it’s no longer a mystery 😅
This is a phone game with upscaled graphics published by one of the biggest brands in the entire world, there's no content to even skip. I maxed in under 15 hrs playtime playing blind starting a week ago, I searched around lvl 30 for videos about content I should be doing while leveling and it doesn't exist, just story to max. Then it's a handful of co-op dungeons, hourly passive plushy dungeon, try to do world bosses gatekept by wallet-warrior guilds eclipse, a couple ripped off GW2 area objectives like turn in hides to hunters, few contracts killing same content you already been killing, and facetank guild bosses half afk. All of that time-gated in some form like a phone game that doesn't want you to get strong too quickly so you feel a need to swipe for access to power. Comparing this to other MMO's is a joke.
My cp is 3730. I reach this score only solo and f2p. 1 week ago i was thinking okey, it s time to pvp. I did everything for my gear and skills. And then i tried 1 conflict boss and i get hit by 10+ people at same time... Second attempt i looked their guild logos and ohters. 100+ People trying to hunt solo players. Like what s fun in this ? 100vs1. Solo players can t fight. 100+ people trying to get 1 kill ?? how are these people manage and have fun like this ? Are they doing running simulator ? Like these people have %1 chance to kill someone if they are allience with others ? Okey game is pvp game. But i m getting hit by not 1, not 2, not 3 i m getting hit by everyone in my screen. I was thinking about joining pvp guilds. And then i realize what s the point for grinding if i m gonna fight 100v1. People gonna say go play arena. Yeah 200 iq guy. I don t wanna fight sweaty players when everyone is using only counter and meta builds . This is not Overwatch, Valorant, Destiny or Call of duty.
Yea really bad community unfortunately, I played Tax Delivery today and people instead of targeting golem for lucent, they target other players for random kills
I dont know why people praise no loading screens, sure it doesnt have them but around every corner, open menu, talk to npc game freezes to load heck even combat animations dont load only after few seconds
Biggest thing that is very annoying to me is the time gated dungeon runs and contract missions. They could atleast start with increasing the contract mission you could do at a time because 5 is not enough.
I’m still playing and enjoy it. I love PvP but my guild does not do it, which is fine cause I’m not really of Zerg PvPer anyways. I prefer “battlegrounds” type PvP. IMO this is what the game needs. Even with the current game I get to do PvP once every 2-3 hours in the dominion events…that’s it. We need a que-able PvP that you can do at anytime.
This is well put, most complain too much or expect too much to be given. BG would be a huge bonus to an already awesome game. Ive made over 1.8k Lucent and havent even tried. Hardly put WoW ash of alar style farming into this game as some people bitch about and have achieved some pretty decent gear also.
The game is feels unbalanced in pvp and so heavily focused on gvg at endgame that if you’re solo or not part of one of the top guilds it pointless. Combine that with the obvious bonus you get from MnK and the shitty glitching you get on Xbox and you’re left feeling repeatedly deflated on the game you’re supposed to be having fun on
Haven't quit the game, just started playing recently (only just unlocked guilds but I might have to restart so I can join my mate's server) and so far I am enjoying the game as it gives me flashbacks to bless unleashed when I was just checking out the game.
They're quitting because its p2w, meaning pvp is only fun for those who spent enough money. Im pve only, and im having fun playing, but it does suck that i cant find any streamers or videos for pve only because most only do pvp stuff
You hit the nail on the head in the beginning of the video. People don’t want to wait. In every MMO instead of PLAYING the game people rush the content and then SHOCKER there is NOTHING left to do.
They really need to work on siege colors. Attacking all Green, except guild members = Blue. Defending = Red. This way even smaller guilds could help the other attacking guilds vs defenders if they wish. In its current state it’s just chaos and lame. Maybe a “Contribution” system for attackers to band together. Rock on gamers ❤ 🤘
This game does not have any endgame to be honest. I have 2 chars almost 3000cp and all I do is repeat the dailies each day. Dungeons are easy and small and not interesting at all and PvP in this game is very bad compared to other mmos. I can not find any purpose in playing this game, maybe only to kill some time when I have nothing else to do, but I think I would rather just start playing another game now.
The end game got boring. Scheduled PvP. Guild vs Guild wars are far too short for defending turf. Almost 80% of the playerbase is experiencing bad optimization and 20 FPS in world bosses and large scale PvP. There really isnt much rewarding things to do in End Game for solo and small scale enjoyers. The upgrading traits system is horrible and letting people sell gear creating an unballanced environment for the people who dont want to spend money to join a a good guild who all swiped cards to get max gear sooner
you either grind your life away or dump multiple paychecks and still get no where. this game makes me really sad because its a lot of fun at first until you start doing world events and bosses and you quickly realize how stacked against you this game is. when a game becomes a chore without gratification it lacks any appeal. i hope the devs do something to help fix the many problems this game had because its a good game with great potential.
Why Are People Leaving 1) Too Much Forced PVP 2) Laggy Servers Non Stop 3) Trash Movement 4) Combat Is Borning 5) Toxic Players 6) Can't Get The Gear Players Want 7) Takes Roughly 1k Hours To Max All Skills/Passives Also Get Your Best Stats 8) Servers Are Way Too Open Causing Deaths Due To Lagging 9) Open World Events Are Bad Because Too Many Players 10) You Have To Be In A Massive Top Guild To Control Zones In Order To Win.
@@milhasdistantewows combat is balanced through many classes and builds though. TL has 2 meta PvP builds lol that shit is stale as fuck and is why I left. No one enjoys being stunlocked for 6 seconds and one combo
I prefer playing solo because I get more out of the game that way. I've been in all the good guilds, but it just doesn't work out for me. I'm always worried about getting a big drop and not being able to keep it because of guild rules. So, I choose to play solo until I can get everything I want-at least until they change the system.
Its honestly the whole zerg v zerg thing thats gonna make players quit. Yea u can say the lack of pve content is a contributor but at the main thing is these huge alliances. I think the only way to fix this is to limit the amount of ppl that can join a conflict area from each guild to like 50 and rework the whole loot system in this game
Cause we did all the content on the first week of playing the game, and they aren't adding more until next year, so some of us will be back next year, I mean am still farming some of the gear, but I have most of what I need, so there isn't much for me to do here.
3750 GS, chose a class that isn't suited for zergs and gvg so I'm burned out of the lame daily stuff that feels like a job. Arena is trash. Your skill doesn't matter, the opponent's evasion will nullify it. I'm already over this game. I thought this game was gonna revive the spirit of Aion, but no, it fails miserably.
Played Korean server for a long time, played top-end KR PVP alliance, had to drop many hundreds $$$ to be there. The game had the same problem then/there as it does here/now. It's a PVP game... PVE is there to facilitate PVP progression. This isn't a problem, except that lucent is able to be purchased RMT. It's designed for this to take place. You NEED a TON of lucent to trait out your gear and re-trait gear to keep up with meta. If you don't RMT for the lucent, everyone else that does will leave you FAR behind and you will be basically one-shotted and locked out of the majority of the game. This problem breaks the game for most people before you even get to the zerg problem. If they restructured the game to eliminate RMT lucent (P2W), maybe things would improve. I have no solutions to the zerg problem. This is a VERY fun game and a TON of potential, but when you hit end game, it's all ruined by these problems. I tried my best and put my $$$ behind it, but oh well.
I never understood the concept of ONLY playing one game. If you’re getting bored of the repetitive endgame, simply play something else and come back when they add new stuff and fix things. Do not be a slave to daily logins.
Nobody talks about how the game is pay to win early but lose in 3 weeks? First month grinding to get the best gear possible, just to release the world boss gear as rewards in Co-Op Dungeons which effectively devaluates all your current max traited gear and you need to start over again traiting your new boss gear and next month they release t2 gear and the cycle repeats over and over again. Why would you keep playing when you know that most of your progress is killed with the next update?
I have start to play this game 3 week before of cours i dont do any pvp is way too whatever, but the biggest issue for me is the kick system in dungeon secilay now 3 day after the T2 was out is so disgusting you simply never finsh a boss or even dont stats the 30 first seg, because kick abuse i dont even try to enter in it and simply unistall the game before i destroy my self so strong it make me rage.
Play partly true. I did Mordecai at like level 30 and I got like four kills while I wasn’t with any guild. I was just solo. I’d step into the conflict area get a kill then I go out and recover myself and admittedly I was picking off what looked like you know weaker targets, but I wasn’t in a guild and I got kills. It’s possible to participate and try to stay away from the big masses.
I quit very early on. Played till about lvl 20, completely bored. Did first dungeon, didn't have to do anything as people just zerged everything and things just died. I learned nothing. Got bored of my weapons, decided to make a 2nd female character with different weapons and learned that despite all the sliders and customization options you can't have huge boobs on your toon. Then I uninstalled.
why they also quit? Russki Botting, Russki abuse exploids, P2w, Toxic Community, useless conflict zones which are nonsense, limited playing feels like a Mobile Game. Could name 20 more things
The guild system is a core problem of the game that will probably never be resolve, i can't imagine how the devs came to the conclusion than letting a guild restrict access to like 30% of the game content and making them exponentially stronger was a good idea, in comparison the good old factions system with raid groups like in Aion or WoW for example was 10 times better, the faction system gives people a common thing to fight for and being able to make random raid groups just for big pvpve events gave individuals much more power and freedom of choice.
My guild is a top 20 guild and we swore off the pay to win by doing all the content we can and all drops go to guild then if someone needs certain drops the guild armor distributes gear appropriately unless you got a drop and you need that purple for your build then you may keep it but we tend to be very fair and have often voted to decide on the person getting the gear and have nor had any issues with distribution complaints because someone is always getting a peice of vital gear
i quit few days ago got bored of the limit for open world dungeon farming. Ok Im fine with the normal Dungeon Limit but fck let me farm outsiide the dungeons as much i want
Personally i'm getting bored with it cause unless you join the biggest guild you can your missing out on so much in the game. My friend group is about like 10 people maybe and we even have the guild in the top 100 of the server somehow but we still can't beat any guild bosses or do anything meaningful gameplay wise
I think people should have expected pvp part of the game to be more developed, because that is the point of this genre of mmo, but for me the major issue is how little attention there seems to be to roleplaying in this mmo(rpg). While I expected them to not really have in-game structures for roleplayers I didn't realize the game would be so oppressive of creative roleplaying. Two big examples, 1) you can't initiate pvp between two characters outside of designated pvp zones. So if you wanted to roleplay an epic duel between your character and someone else you are limited to descriptive combat and dice rolls (which is cool too but still). 2) No trade feature whatsoever, i get not allowing items to be traded but having no trade feature whatsoever seems too much. One of the great sources of roleplay in other mmo's is being able to organize a reward or something of in-game currency/items and give other players quests or hire them for jobs. Since we can't trade ANYTHING this aspect of roleplaying is not available. There's also other tiny things that break roelplay immersion, but you could overlook those if there was at least some freedom to actually use your character to interact with other characters besides chatting or pvp zones.
- The extreme alliance is Horrible. It locks you out of raids and the tax/castle runs BecUse they will sit there and nuke locations to get into the raid bosses - Guilds REQUIRE you to be in their discords that they stream and want you to watch. So they are forcing you - the kick is abused, it was supposed to be used for afkers. But people use it to kick other places so they can pull their guild mates into the last boss. - lacking alot more content. I mean when wow came out jt had a YEAR of content. No less than a year. An it took you a long time get there. Yeah it wa a grind but there was so much to be able to get there and so much story. - Toxic guilds where only RL FRIENDS get everything
So much more cons over pros with this game. Top alliance (#1) growth rate will outpace and outgrow everyone thats not #1. On my server everyone that is #2 and below cant even beat #1 cause of the gatekeeping, zerging and gear difference. Its bizarre. We are so limited on our ability to obtain boss gear the top players just continue to rack up equipment and lucent. Feels like the game will have a very clear divide when T2 comes out. Forcing all PVE, Casuals and the #2 below alliances out of the game completely. We literally have 10 guilds in top 14 fighting #1 alliance consisting of #1, #2, #5 and #6. We cant even come close to beating them and their gear gap is getting so massive cause they get every boss. When schedule comes up for bosses. #1 alliance will Eclipse for 1 or 2 peace bosses and quickly run the rest of the server out of the next 1 or 2 conflict bosses. This nets them 1-4 bosses a schedule. Its insane. The Abyss and Token and soon Token 2. Needs to be obliterated from the game. Or make it cost less. This caps PVE/Casual players so hard on what they can and cant do within their short free time period. Those that think I'm just complaining.. you're going to end up in a dead game sooner than you think. Look at Korean servers. Coping by saying Lost Ark has 15k players daily.. thats not impressive. Lmfao. Population growth isnt there anymore and guilds are forced to merge together. Keep this in mind. Just cause you dont see it, havent seen it on your server does not mean its not happening.
I played Throne and Liberty nonstop until I finished the story up to its current point. After that, the game quickly became repetitive. I am now playing Path of Exile 2 but, I will revisit T&L at some point in the future.
this game is for basement dwellers, virgins, card swipers etc. Basically impossible to farm abyss dungeons/contracts solo... bad drop/loot like 85% of the time and then you cant trade items?! not even with your friends? tf.... and then some kid with daddys money is telling me to watch a vid on co op dungeons like i already dont have job. I dont understand why this game dont have a mode where you run with bots in co op to familiarize the mechanics. Instead you have to run with randoms with described symptoms^^^ and you are expected to know mechs or get the boot.
Fellas this type of games are meant to be played in big groups, i know the game has a lot of flaws. But clan/alliance gatekeeping stuff, in games like this, has always been like that. Couple of years back the people would try to get their proper gear, create their own clan and try to fight the server rulers, specially considering on how easy is to gear up in throne and liberty. But instead everyone complaints about and everyone has their own answer on how to solve the "problems". Is easier to cry, than play the game and try to beat. I believe the game is a 6/10 but the comunity and players are a 2/10, full of people trying to "fix" issues...
im ok with p2w, i can grind up my traits on gear ez, but it has slowed down alot. lucent is kinda harder to get now. but besides that the reptitive nature of the game is getting to me, i really dont want to log in to do the same thing again.
1- Laziness, after you realize it's too much work to learn new stuff, and it isn't X game version 2, so back to the dead X game. 2- Bad build, could be because you didn't follow any build, or you did follow one but did it all wrong. Or situation like playing a tank and not liking the tank roll, happens. 3- Bad settings, targeting and key binding setting is as important as water in the game, not doing enough research on it could def lead to uninstall. 4- Playing solo, the game is def not designed to be played as solo, pvp is the endgame even if you aren't on the top dominant alliance. Could be because of a lack of social skills irl or simply not interested enough. Either way, these or simply that it isn't your cup of tea, it's completely fine and normal if the game isn't for you.
People being toxic in dungeons make me not want to try. Rmt cheats still being allowed to play ruins pvp. And alot of items are really hard to get, I'm struggling to unlock my traits and lvl up my gear. But others have fully traited lv9 epics.
People simply start to acknowledge some studio that don't give a shit about them. This is why they fail. Let me give you a good example. They bullshit about bots problem and what they doing to fight them. We all know that the only solution to that was to limit players to buy the cheapest item out of the auction house first... That way bots are not able to sell lucent outside the game. At this point. I know this, They know this and it make me think about why the fuck would they want bots in there game? to play the victim card or they simply do money with them? i have no idea but i'm not sticking around to find out.
To me it's not really about having enough content (not that adding more content wouldn't solve anything), it is more like about making the game more difficult. I remember back when WoW was launched, no-lif gamers would take more than a month (usually 2 months or so) to get to lvl 60 and then they would have to slowly grind dungeons and quests until they could finally get the epic mount and enough gear to even attempt anything at Molten Core. There were attunements too which were hard. All these took a lot of effort and time. Games now are too easy, any no-life can get to max level in less than a week, do all the content (because there's no attunement or most of the times gear is too easy to get) and quit because the devs can't keep up with the pace. Having that all said, I think it's more like about making the game harder do adjust to the pace of the Dev team. ;)
Pretty sure is the guild system that even devs said they thought people wouldnt find ways to manipulate in this negative way. Top of that im pretty sure with new announcements on t2 gear etc etc , your current players see currentbmeta weapons got WAY more love than others. So instead of over all trying to make each weapon relevant/ synergy with others they forcing players to re roll. So i will be apart of many who will leave back to survival games. Repeatedly doing things not a issue (over 6k hrs in Rust) its just the constant reminder even if you made your weapon set to work the way you want its trash compared to the " meta"
I just quit like 1 hour ago. I had everything to make this gear piece except one thing that one thing I need to fight world bosses for that are gated by other player and I’m just like you know what, fk this stress *Delete*
P2W and the open word pvp is what’s killing the game. Being gate kept by Zerg guilds that destroy everyone that’s not them and gate keep is a horrible model. My opinion.
NCSoft has the same experience as Blizzard for 20+ years and still continues to provide Pay-To-Win crap games... No excuses for them. The Game is new but the company behind it is not! I quit because I don't have the time to play hardcore crap....
Quests are not well explained Two weapon styles? No. It doesn't seem natural. PvP? I don't play games for PVP, lol. The game looks good, but TERA remains the king
I feel like being gated to 30 coops a day is painful, I could just wait a couple of days and spend the tokens at once, but then can’t do much in a day,
Mobile game with good graphics
I've made $20 worth of lucent selling stuff I looted in world dungeons and coop dungeons.
If you know what sells you can accomplish a lot. Only real problems are p2w pvp players.
Yup that’s why I dropped it month ago
its limitless for me because i drained all my token and get it back in full or almost full like in 2-3 night. i already made around 10k+ just from farming i beat most of p2w with 0% usage of brain only swipe their card and dont learn how to play
in 1 day cycle i have like 3 days worth of both tokens
I feel like the only people talking the way you talk, are those without a guild or friends. With a guild or friends you have A LOT of things to do, activities with them, help them, raid bosses to attend to, dungeons with PVP raids and so on.
In this game I keep asking myself why I'm grinding and my answer is because that's what you do in mmo's... I have nothing I want to do in T&L there's no cool bosses I want to fight, idc about pvp in this game because it's to simple it's whoever get their stun off first wins, and the story isn't the best. So I asked myself why I'm grinding, then I stopped.
Exactly. I did the same today :)
@@michaelwalker9575 Good for you man, I hope you're having fun.
I am near this point too. I made 2 chars, reached 3000cp and got some good gear. Now I just do the same repeated process every day with the dailies basically. Endgame PvP is not good in this game, compared to other mmos.
@@zaydon5281 yeah I was a dick for no reason. Thanks for pointing that out in a nice way. My fault. Different strokes for different folks.
It's really not that simple at all theres ways to counter stuns and get out of stuns
@@jamesdenny1131 agreed
As a super casual, your tokens expire after 3k up? LOL who thought that was a good idea. I swear this game has some of the worst design choices
No. He's saying that, once you're geared up,. killing mobs is too easy
you can recharge your Abyss Tokens and Dungeon Tokens with the Chests on Saurodoma Island at night, there are chests that give you 300-600-900 Dungeon tokens & thousands of Abyss Tokens.
100% agree
skill issue
i think the guild/alliance system itself is not even the problem.
@@jefhope8252 Time will tell, and I always bank on time. So far, time is winning.
I’m starting to feel the burnout. At first coop dungeons were fun, now everything is just a chore since I don’t have a big guild to do pvp

They need to make the world bosses spawn every 2 hours so that everyone has a chance to do them instead of just peak hours...
@@Nitewolf08 or maybe make them spawn more often but every 3 hours instead of 2
I was just saying the same shit definitely need to be more frequent and just rotate more bosses
Preach brotha
I never spent a dime on this game still grinding. And I sell a lot of my purple gear made a lot of lucent
people are discouraged by P2W because as a F2P player, you get to a point where your playtime is a glorified daily login, i get on do my dungeons hope and hope i hit something thats worth lucent so I can trait out the gear i acquired through pity system/dungeon luck.
P2W players are forced to do the same shit. you can't buy crystals or materials for upgrading lol
This game is definetely not P2W. Me and my friends started last month on EU server, we all managed to get the full builds without spending any real money. You will just have to grind way more
It's p2w but it's not a bad experience for f2p at all I'm f2p with 3.2k atm bis gear and I play like 2-3 hours everyday.

repetitive nature of the game.
Bdo pso2 if it had combat like those games I would’ve loved it
I agree, for example, world dynamic events like the wolf hunting don't need to be 20min. long imo. 10 minutes is enough.
The play to cheats don't want their advantage to change..
The only way to increase the amount of coop dungeons you can do is saradouma island at night, if a big guild don’t destroys everyone else…
MMORPG based on a mobile game…
Tldr PvP is okey but not rewarding, 3 coop dungeons a day sucks. Welcome to FarmVille with weapons.
Wow its crazy! The same issues in Korea are happening here? Who could've known!

Extremely difficult to obtain upgrade items specifically if you are new to the game
@@irunhot game is too focused on guilds and still managed too fuck it up
Yeah they should of made the game available for solo casual players vs hardcore Zergvites
That's a reason. It's not even close to being the main reason.
Im just playing the game. Theyll add more medium size combat and gametypes in arenas.
I'm a casual and I love the game.
The pay to win aspect will always destroy player numbers. The business model is to have a very few people pay a lot rather than a lot of people pay a little. Most people just play until the wall then quit. Its what I did in ESO, GW2, Neverwinter, and now T&L.
eso is nowhere near p2w
TL is not even close to pay to win. As free player made 4k char without any problem and causual play. P2W shit on TL is just bs1t.
what p2w wall is there in gw2? im curious
Pay to win and bad combat recipe for a short game lifespan. I'm still playing for now but its kinda a joke
Playing this on ps5 sucks, you can't buy lucent in the store, after you hit 50 there isn't much to do if you don't like pvp and the weapons and gear are to dammed hard to level up. The Koreans need to keep their games in Korea, stop releasing this crap in the west.
I joined a guild. They didn't want to help new players. Just spot holders for numbers, til someone else comes in with better gear n kicks u out.
That’s life
welp
Yeah the game has a pretty shitty community when it comes to helping people. A majority of players are 10 year olds living with their parents that don’t know how to communicate to team mates. People really don’t play games the same anymore it’s all about getting the loot and gear and being the “best” on a video game. Not having experiences with your friends.
@@Gamelover22478my experience is most are older players, most of the guilds I joined and played with were in their early 20s to early 30s to late 30s
…and Black Ops 6 came out 🤧
My cp is 3730.
THE dungeons are fucking garbage its just speed runs
Pretty much, everything in this game just about is a speed run
Combine that with the obvious bonus you get from MnK and the shitty glitching you get on Xbox and you’re left feeling repeatedly deflated on the game you’re supposed to be having fun on
yea "pvp" focused...
small scale pvp is shit, large scale pvp is shit
Haven't quit the game, just started playing recently (only just unlocked guilds but I might have to restart so I can join my mate's server) and so far I am enjoying the game as it gives me flashbacks to bless unleashed when I was just checking out the game.
And even though the game has a pay-to-win I like grinding in games so I will quite happily stay free to play
Enjoy the game while it lasts :) For me it lasted only 2 months of hardcore gameplay before I got burned out
@@bushido_maru I will :)
item farming even blue items is hard to get then you can't get anything from boss drop just hoping to get a good rng from boss bag
They're quitting because its p2w, meaning pvp is only fun for those who spent enough money. Im pve only, and im having fun playing, but it does suck that i cant find any streamers or videos for pve only because most only do pvp stuff
pvp stuns feel awful
It’s a lot to do in this game, you don’t have to spend real time money. You can sell your items on the auction house,
so it is not worth downloading
I just get started...
lez play!
Why Are People Leaving
1) Too Much Forced PVP
2) Laggy Servers Non Stop
3) Trash Movement
4) Combat Is Borning
5) Toxic Players
6) Can't Get The Gear Players Want
7) Takes Roughly 1k Hours To Max All Skills/Passives Also Get Your Best Stats
8) Servers Are Way Too Open Causing Deaths Due To Lagging
9) Open World Events Are Bad Because Too Many Players
10) You Have To Be In A Massive Top Guild To Control Zones In Order To Win.
I don't think it is about combat. WoW has boring combat too and it endured this many years.
Dont forget the low drop rate.
Still have a few hundred hours for me before I remotely get bored. Helps having a family and full time job. I can only play so much per week.
Here's my question. Is the grind worse in this game vs The First Descendant though? 😅
even if you pvp, whale will just 1 shot you anyways
Cause we did all the content on the first week of playing the game, and they aren't adding more until next year, so some of us will be back next year, I mean am still farming some of the gear, but I have most of what I need, so there isn't much for me to do here.
Coming back to TFD with the latest update
same
3750 GS, chose a class that isn't suited for zergs and gvg so I'm burned out of the lame daily stuff that feels like a job. Arena is trash. Your skill doesn't matter, the opponent's evasion will nullify it. I'm already over this game. I thought this game was gonna revive the spirit of Aion, but no, it fails miserably.
I quit a month ago cuz the update is slow and stupid. Like why they gonna release tier 2 dungeons with no tier 2 equipments and level 55????
'Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. ' -Albert Einstein
That’s not fun though lol
Where are the other players?
It locks you out of raids and the tax/castle runs BecUse they will sit there and nuke locations to get into the raid bosses
- Guilds REQUIRE you to be in their discords that they stream and want you to watch. So they are forcing you
- the kick is abused, it was supposed to be used for afkers.
Yea I quit this game recently as well definitely a garbage game
I have always been a solo or duo player in mmos, but I cant play in duo in this game, I have to be in a guild or else I have no chance
I haven't gotten ANY purple from a T2 Dungeon. And needed like 60 to get it from a vendor... F this game
Obviously throttling the drop rates to encourage buying and spending money. It feels bad.
Game is quite good, but the Community sucks. Nobody is Patient, only Guide Users who enjoy Progress and Not the Game itself
People being toxic in dungeons make me not want to try. Rmt cheats still being allowed to play ruins pvp. And alot of items are really hard to get, I'm struggling to unlock my traits and lvl up my gear. But others have fully traited lv9 epics.
Dubbel weapon skill spaming is whats killing the game. I wish it was one weapon play style.
Quests are not well explained
Two weapon styles? No. It doesn't seem natural.
PvP? I don't play games for PVP, lol.
The game looks good, but TERA remains the king
