I don't watch their liveshow often. I'm a fan since the debut album. I don't recall her having trouble singing live back then. Did she damaged her voice ?
@@ghastlyshimmer Not sure if you ever got an answer? lol She doesn't exactly say what happened but said that she was having vocal issues for a while (especially 2018) she said it felt like someone was choking her and then I am assuming she would get nervous if it would mess her up and then cause even more issues. I have also read theories that she damaged her voice back doing warped tour and that "rock growl" that she used to use a lot. She's doing fantastic now though all of their lives for 2020 are amazing!!
@@DirectlyHere yeah, i've noticed the growl too (it was a bad growl technique) the first album she has grit but it was fry grit. While the growly thing was "cookie monster" voice which is bad to the vocal folds

Im gonna see them live in a few months and I was honestly kinda scared cause I’ve seen quite a few negative comments on Lynn’s performance but THIS CHANGED EVERYTHING!! OH DAMN! I CANT WAIT!
To be honest I've never seen a poor performance from her, even a few years back. She always gives it 100 percent. If her crowd is lively she definitely feels it a lot more and gets into it. You won't be disappointed girl, have fun!

Не могу сказать, что концерт удался. Линдси пела мимо почти все свои партии, это не так заметно в записи, но живьем - просто ужас, и да, я знаю о ее проблеме с публичными выступлениями. Остались до конца только из-за уважения к ребятам в целом, надеюсь в следующий раз лайв будет выше уровнем

Saw some earlier live performances and thought they were good, but seeing this concert I'm thinking they're spectacular. What a great set, seriously. And also, really cool of them to hang out a little after the last song. I've been to some concerts where artists kinda just..leave after the encore and it's kinda sad. So kudos to them for not doing that! ok I'll stop now, but really though, I liked this. OK I'm out xx
I watched the AWKOHAWNOH livestream, the audio and video quality are great but it misses the energy that the crowd give, that Lynn reciprocates So thank you for the video which is in a good quality also !
Jimena Robbins I believe she was trying to mess with effects but didn’t get down properly. She points to it and tells the bassist something. She sealed to be laughing a bit during the vocal part after that also. So more than likely laughing at her mistake.
She's actually been struggling quite heavily with vocal damage, coupled with emotional/mental issues. She's actually done a few interviews about it.. she had to re-learn how to sing during multiple tours without even a real break. It's really difficult to take a studio performance where you get do-overs and practice, and do it live. But here she sounds much improved from her older performances. Speaking as somebody who's had to work through vocal chords damage, it is extremely difficult to get past like.. three or four songs in a row without any moving around or distractions.. let alone on stage.

I miss real drums too but i think this change is because Lynn has a recent obsesion for minimalistic pop music like The Weekend
