I had a period where I was continually sinning a repeat cycle of the same sin for months. Everyday I feel distraught about abusing the grace of God and thinking terrible things such as “God will forgive me” in those moments. It grieves me so much. Please family, pray for my release from sorrow and that Christ’s forgiveness will rid me of my anxiety.

With this sin your willpower is required. This is one area where your will is in effect. This is such a serious issue that Jesus paid specific attention to this on a number of occasions. It's even in the Lord's prayer. To forgive someone you must first want to do it, then it becomes a willful petition that you must take to the judge. Here is a great revelation for you; God is the judge of all things. Take your pain and hurt, your unforgiveness that the fallen self wants to hold and aggressively bring it before the judge. Confess it, confess that you know it's wrong and it's stopping you from being forgiven. Harass the judge with the issue until He strikes His gabble. God will make a ruling on all things and when He says forgiven it will be so. People will try to tell you nonsense like it's forgiven not forgotten blah blah blah. But I tell you this, our fallen nature is incapable of forgiveness, it is a devine beatitude of mercy and when something is truly forgiven it no longer has any power over you in any form. And yes, even to the point where it becomes so insignificant you actually can forget about it.

@@theloveofthetruth Dear friend....from the context of 1st John chapter 3, it is evident it refers to someone who "practices lawlessness" (3:4) meaning someone who constantly lives in unrepentant sin; its not teaching that a believer will never sin. (See 1st John 1:8,10). 1st John 3:9 - "no one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for Gods seed abides in him; and he cannot keep on sinning, because he had been born of God" - again this is the person who sins and never repents and confesses. Do you think the apostle Paul, after being saved, never sinned? When he says - "for I delight in the law of God in my inner being, but I see in my members another law waging war against the law of my mind making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members". (Roman's 7:22-23). What do you suppose that means? Can you confidently say you neither sin, nor desire sin, as a believer? I think the bible itself says you deceive yourself if you believe that (1st John 1:8)
@@theloveofthetruth to say we would be sinless is to say we are like Jesus and we are not. This teaching in the video clearly goes over the difference. Sin with repentance and sin without.

The new life in Jesus (Romans 6:4, 2 Corinthians 5:17) is a life of freedom from sin, a righteous and godly life, not a life of "ongoing sin." Did you catch that at 0:30? "We will never be free from sin on this side of heaven." Please examine what the Bible says: John 8:34-36 34 Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, *whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.* 35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. 36 Therefore *if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.* Romans 6:5-7 5 For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will also be part of his resurrection; 6 knowing this, that our old self was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin. 7 For *he who has died has been freed from sin.* 1 John 3:6 Whoever abides in Him [Jesus] *does not sin.* Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. 1 Peter 2:21-24 21 For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for you, *leaving you an example, that you should follow his steps,* 2 who “committed no sin, nor was deceit found in his mouth.” 23 Who, when he was cursed, did not curse back. When he suffered, did not threaten, but committed himself to him who judges righteously; 24 who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, *that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness;* by whose wounds you were healed. Titus 2:11-12 11 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people, 12 *instructing us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly desires, and to live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age;*
@@yestothetruth thank you for these verses. I absolutely agree that Christ has set us free to choose righteousness and offer ourselves in service to God. With that said, it does not mean we will be completely transformed into sinlessness. In Romans 7, Paul observes an ongoing war between the flesh and the spirit. The apostle John likewise encourages us to confess our sins and be forgiven in 1 John 1:9. When Paul Washer said that 'we won't be free from sin on this side of heaven,' he was talking about the presence of sin. His intention was not to give us a license to sin. It will become clear if you watch his other video called 'The Will of God: Your Sanctification.' To be clear, if we are truly God's children He will see to it that we make progress in sanctification. The same sin that weighed me down two years ago, by His grace, I am making a commitment daily to refuse and despise it. God bless.
@@tilamarie6463 You are welcome, and thanks as well for your response. You are seeing these verses from a whole other angle than I do. The idea of "sinlessness" is like a big unattainable thing that stands in the way of really understanding what _freedom from sin_ is about. It's about no longer being in bondage to sin or having sin as your master because you are under grace in Christ. So, I disagree that the idea of "ongoing sin" being addressed in this video is about dealing with the mere presence of sin. If such is the case, then "ongoing sin" can be that big box where any sin may fit, while sanctification is waited upon. The danger in that is that even those sins that will keep someone from inheriting the kingdom of God (like in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 or Galatians 5:19-21) can be understood as simply needing a "confession" at each offense, and not a forsaking of such sins once and for all in a genuine repentance. Confession of sin implies forsaking of sin (Proverbs 28:13), but that is hardly ever stressed like that did not matter. If you were not seeing all these scriptures as you do, you would also see that Romans 7:14-25 is describing a man in his struggles under the Law (of Moses) and not a new creature in Christ. In other words, it's not Paul the apostle, who then certainly had been born again, who was struggling in Romans 7 to not do wrong when he wanted to do right. I'll share with you three remarks on that: In Romans 7:14 the apostle Paul said he was "carnal, sold as a slave to sin." Compare that to John 8:34-36 and you see that this man struggling in Romans 7 was not in Christ, saved or set free by the Son yet. He was looking for a deliverance. Romans 8:1-2 tell us how he found his deliverance: _1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 _*_For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death._* Romans 8:2 is the exact opposite of the situation in Romans 7:23, where this was said: _"But I see another law at work in my body, warring against the law of my mind and _*_holding me captive to the law of sin that dwells within me."_* It's captivity vs freedom. Being without Jesus vs Having Jesus and being in Jesus. If it were "apostle Paul" as a born again Christian certainly who was struggling to keep himself from doing evil when he wanted to do good, then he would be in contradiction to what he had just taught the Roman believers in all of Romans 6, for instance: Romans 6:12-14 12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. 13 Neither present your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God, as alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. 14 For *sin will not have dominion over you. For you are not under the law, but under grace.* The apostle Paul who also said, "Imitate me as I imitate Christ" (1 Corinthians 11:1), would be a hypocrite to convey the message that going on sinning or struggling with sin and being defeated by sin is the gift of God that people who turn to Jesus find. Certainly, that would not come from following Jesus' example, because He did not sin and lived to be an example to those who would be his disciples (1 Peter 2:21-24). Lastly, thanks for the video you have told me about. It's a wonderful message. At 48:18, he says, "recognize a lie." So, my sharing with you that I am inviting you to examine is very much about that, concerning this topic of freedom from sin. Our sanctification depends very much on that foundation of freedom from sin (Romans 6:16-19). So, we want to be in agreement with what the Bible is teaching about it. Peace to you!
@@yestothetruth We may cease from practicing sin, but we will always sin. We will fall from time to time. " If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." I John 1:8
@@robotusan You said, *"we will always sin. We will fall from time to time."* First of all, I would like to make you see this scripture: "if you do these things, you will never fall" (2 Peter 1:10). I suggest you read from 2 Peter 1:5. Now the point you are making is not supported by 1 John 1:8. And when a scripture is used out of context to support some point that it is not making, that is deceitful and dangerous. 1 John 1:8 is about someone who is living in sin and walking in darkness who would claim otherwise. Yeah, that person would be a liar. But that is not saying that no one is living in freedom from sin and walking in the light. And that's what gets thrown out of the window when 1 John 1:8 is used the way you used it. I will quote what comes right before that verse: 1 John 1:5-7 5 This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. You see how after saying "the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin" in 1 John 1:7, it does not make sense to argue in the same breath that "we", the same "we/us" who are cleansed from all sin need to admit that we "will always struggle with ongoing sin" somehow like this video is talking about or else we are liars? No, 1 John 1:8 does not mean that I, a born again Christian or a new creation in Christ need to keep confessing *ongoing deliberate sins* and that I am walking in darkness because I am a liar if I do not confess that. By ongoing deliberate sins, this is what I mean: knowing right from wrong and keeping on making the choice to do wrong/sin. Hopefully, that is not what you are calling falling from time to time, because then that's walking on the broad way that leads to destruction (Matthew 7:13). That is not walking on the right way, the narrow way of righteousness that leads to eternal life (Matthew 7:14, 2 Peter 2:21). And really, walking in darkness can mean that I keep on being a thief, murderer, adulterer, porn watcher, etc. and think that any of that fits in my identity as a Christian, even after Jesus has supposedly cleansed me from all sin. Then I would just need to confess according to 1 John 1:9, but I will keep on sinning just as before, with no transformation. That's not what that verse is saying at all to anyone who has been born again. According to 1 John 1:6 if I am walking in darkness and claiming to be in the light and having fellowship with Jesus, I will be called a liar. So, 1 John 1:8 could never mean that I need to keep confessing that I am walking in darkness... because then how can I say Jesus' blood has (actually) cleansed me from all sin? But Jesus' blood has cleansed me from all sin and He has set me free from the bondage to sin that I was in (John 8:34-36, Romans 6:7, 18, 22). It's from that bondage to sin that I have been saved precisely (Matthew 1:21). By the grace of God, sin no longer has power over me (Romans 6:14). So, I am comfortable with these following scriptures too, I know that they speak of the work Jesus has done in my life, and I am not being a liar: 1 John 2:3-4 3 Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 1 John 3:6-10 6 Whoever abides in Him [Jesus] does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. 7 Little children, let no one deceive you. He who does righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. 10 In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not do righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.

It is important that you answer God's call to repentance the way the Bible teaches. You must sincerely regret having sinned against God, and come to the point of hearing and agreeing 100% with Jesus' message saying, "I do not condemn you, now go and don't sin anymore" (John 8:11). Your obedience as you choose to follow God's ways is key. That opens the door to receiving his *forgiveness* for your past sins (Romans 3:25), *healing* (Luke 5:31-32), freedom from sin/addictions (John 8:34-36), and the gift of *a new life* that you will live for God and no longer for sin and the passing things of the world (Romans 6:4, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 6:15). That is salvation. It is the truth that will set you free (John 8:31-32, 36).
Don't try to fight sin by yourselves, Jesus is with you all the time. "Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you." Never stop worship in spirit.

I committed the sin of sexual immorality and the Holy Spirit convicted me about it. I kept grieving within my Spirit regarding that sin the whole day regardless of when I prayed fasted etc. I felt ashamed to turn to God, but I realised that I needed to humble myself and lay myself bare before Him with my imperfections and sins (1 Peter 5:6-7). The Holy Spirit reminded me that with the full armour of God, we have the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God. And I realised that I have not been using that piece of the full armour of God(Ephesians 6:11-18). I am now incorporating the use of scripture whenever I feel tempted or when thoughts invade me. Sometimes, I even sleep to run away from it. Praise God! Thank You Brother Paul for this beautiful message🙏🏾❤😊

Jesus doesn’t only reference hell, he describes it in great detail. He says it is a place of eternal torment (Luke 16:23), of unquenchable fire (Mark 9:43), JESUS ISNT THERE TO CONDEMN YOU BUT TO SAVE, JESUS IS LORD AMEN, HE GODS SON, DIED FOR YOU AND GOD RAISED HIM FROM THE DEATH
I understand man I’m in the same boat, I struggle with sexual sin a lot and I wish someone could pray for me All I want to is be right with GOD But don’t worry I will pray for you man
May The Lord come upon you in a way that drags you to Him and the study of His word. Be honest with God. He heals and forgives. As someone said to me, also similar sin, make a stand Eph 6 The armour of God. Stand and make the move towards Jesus
You are in a battle for your soul (we all are) and it has to be won in your mind. Ask God to help you stay focused on right thoughts. But don't get distracted. You need to keep your mind on living in a way that pleases God in every way, from your thoughts to your actions. If you realize that you are trapped and need to be delivered, knowing what you need to do goes together with prayers for your deliverance, because you must follow God's instructions to you in your situation. You must be willing to see what it feels like to say "No" to a desire of your flesh when you are being tempted, and see how the temptation goes away (James 1:12-15). God's grace will help you to do that (Titus 2:11-14) and He will be with you in all those moments if your focus is on loving and pleasing Him above all and you trust that He will deliver you. Your obedience as you choose to follow God's ways opens the door to receiving his forgiveness for your past sins (Romans 3:25), healing (Luke 5:31-32), and the gift of *a new life* that you will live for God and no longer for sin/addictions and the passing things of the world (Romans 6:4-7, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 6:15). You just need to approach God the way He expects you to-with the right mindset. James 1:21-22 21 Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness [that's repentance], receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. 22 But be doers of the word [that's faith, which implies obedience], and not only hearers, deluding your own selves. James 4:7-8 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. This is always a good place to start drawing near to God: Psalm 119:11 I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. That will lead you to transformation by the power of God and freedom from sin. Peace to you!

JESUS CHRIST Bear all of our sins on the CROSS and delivered us from the guilt and penalty of the sin. Believe what Jesus did on the cross( Heb 10:10 & 10:14 )( Read Hebrew 8,9,10 chapters, Romans 3,4,5,6,7,8 chapters, Galatians chapters) and Jesus made us righteous(Romans 3:24). many people " just know " about the Cross, but they do not believe the Cross( what Jesus did on the Cross), and that's why many people still struggle with sin.
I am married to a Filipino, blessed indeed HalleluYaH We obey Yeshua Messiah and keep His commandments We try to walk in the Way which is the Torah for sanctification by the Spirit HalleluYaH
Sin is the transgression of the “Law” which means the Torah 1 John 3:4 “ Messiah “ Go SIN no more WHEN THE SON SETS YOU FREE - you are set free from sin because when you abide IN the messiah you will not sin or stumble 2 John 1:9-11 9Everyone who is transgressing and not staying in the teaching of Messiah does not possess Elohim. The one who stays in the teaching of Messiah possesses both the Father and the Son. 10If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house nor greet him, 11for he who greets him shares in his wicked works. John 7:16-17 16 ¶ Y’shua/Jesus answered them and said, "My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me. 17 "If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from Elohim or whether I speak on My own authority. Pslam 40:8 I delight to do Your will my God Your Torah is within my Heart John 14:15 If you love Me keep My commandments John 15:14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. Matthew 23:1-3 ¶ Then Y’shua( Messiah ) spoke to the multitudes and to His disciples, 2 saying: "The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat. ( preaching & teaching the Torah ) 3 "Therefore whatever they tell you to observe, that OBSERVE and DO, but do not do according to their works; for they say, and do not do. Acts 15:19-21 19“Therefore I judge that we should not trouble those from among the gentiles who are turning to Elohim, 20but that we write to them to abstain from the defilements of idols, and from whoring, and from what is strangled, and from blood. 21“For from ancient generations Mosheh has, in every city, those proclaiming him - being read in the congregations every Sabbath.” ( So they would go every sabbath and learn how to walk like Messiah by walking out the Torah by the set apart Spirit ) James 1:22 22And become doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23Because if anyone is a hearer of the Word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror, 24for he looks at himself, and goes away, and immediately forgets what he was like. 25But he that looked into the perfect Torah, that of freedom, and continues in it, not becoming a hearer that forgets, but a doer of work, this one shall be blessed in his doing of the Torah. 1 John 2:3-7 3And by this we know that we know Him, if we guard His commands. 4The one who says, “I know Him,” and does not guard His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5But whoever guards His Word, truly the love of Elohim has been perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. 6The one who says he stays in Him ought himself also to walk, even as He walked. 7Beloved, I write no fresh command to you, but an old command which you have had from the beginning. The old command is the Word which you heard from the beginning. The Word from the beginning is the Torah and prophets Revelation 12:9-17 9And the great dragon was thrown out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who leads all the world astray. He was thrown to the earth, and his messengers were thrown out with him. 10And I heard a loud voice saying in the heaven, “Now have come the deliverance and the power and the reign of our Elohim, and the authority of His Messiah, for the accuser of our brothers, who accused them before our Elohim day and night, has been thrown down. 11“And they overcame him because of the Blood of the Lamb, and because of the Word of their witness, and they did not love their lives to the death. 12“Because of this rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has little time.” 13And when the dragon saw that he had been thrown to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male child. 14And the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, to fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent. 15And out of his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river after the woman, to cause her to be swept away by the river. 16And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the river which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. 17And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to fight with the remnant of her seed, those guarding the commands of Elohim and possessing the witness of יהושע ( YaHUsha ) Messiah. ◄ 2 Thessalonians 2 ► The Scriptures (ISR 1998) 1As to the coming of our Master יהושע Messiah and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, brothers, 2not to become easily unsettled in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as if the day of יהוה has come. 3Let no one deceive you in any way, because the falling away is to come first, and the man of lawlessnessa is to be revealed, the son of destruction, 4who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called Elohim or that is worshipped, so that he sits as Elohim in the Dwelling Place of Elohim, showing himself that he is Elohim. 5Do you not remember that I told you this while I was still with you? 6And now you know what restrains, for him to be revealed in his time. 7For the secret of lawlessness is already at work - only until he who now restrains comes out of the midst. 8And then the lawless one shall be revealed, whom the Master shall consume with the Spirit of His mouth and bring to naught with the manifestation of His coming. 9The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power and signs and wonders of falsehood, 10and with all deceit of unrighteousness in those perishing, because they did not receive the love of the TRUTH, in order for them to be saved. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 WHAT IS TRUTH BIBLICAL TRUTH - Psalms 119:142 Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness and Your Torah is the truth Psalm 119:151 You are near, O YHVH, And all Your commandments are truth. 119:160 The entirety of Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever. John 17:17 Your Word is truth sanctify them by Your Word 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 11And for this reason Elohim sends them a working of delusion, for them to believe the falsehood, 12in order that all should be judged who did not believe the truth, but have delighted in the unrighteousness. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Unrighteousness is the opposite of righteousness and we serve the Most High who does not change Malachi 3:6 and Messiah who does not change Hebrews 13:8 1 John 2:29 If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone doing righteousness has been born of Him 1 John 3:7 Do not be deceived my little children, for he who practices righteousness is righteous just as He is righteous Psalms 119:142 Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness and Your Torah is the truth Seek ye first the kingdom of Elohim and His righteousness and all other things will be added on 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 13But we ought to give thanks to Elohim always for you, brothers, beloved by the Master, because Elohim from the beginning chose you to be saved - in set-apartness of Spirit, and belief in the truth - 14unto which He called you by our Good News, for the obtaining of the esteem of our Master יהושע ( Y’shua ) Messiah. 15So, then, brothers, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or by our letter. 16And our Master יהושע ( Y’shua ) Messiah Himself, and our Elohim and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting encouragement and good expectation, through favour, 17encourage your hearts and establish you in every good word and work.
Michael Thank you and support you. First of all, Glory to the Lord God. I hope that you will receive the strength of the Lord God every day and courageously preach the word of repentance. The promised return of the Lord God is near. I am personally exhausted, but until then, I will preach the word of repentance with all my heart. I hope to see you soon in heaven of glory. ruclips.net/video/U-2YfBydfV4/видео.html
The truth of sin being deadly even to Christians is evident in what has trapped Ravi Zaccharias. His ministry has suffered irreparable damage and the testimony of the Church to the Name of Christ has been slandered. Flee from sin, particularly sexual sin. It ends in death.
Pride was a big problem of Ravi's. This is how he justified his sexual sins, as a "reward for godly service" and can be seen even in the way he exaggerated his academic credentials.
The Ravi situation is hard. I’m not saying anything for sure, just posing a question. Why are we quick to look at a man living in the world who lies and is sexually immoral & say, “it’s because they do not know God.” Why do we not do the same with Ravi? His sin was of 30+ years and became criminal and predatorily. When people came out about their abuse he lied. Even sued them. I think we should think about whether he showed fruit of being saved. He had knowledge of the truth, but why did he continue in sin? We will only know when our own time comes & we go to heaven as to if he was actually saved.
@@wishyouthebest9222 I will quote you from the investigative report: "Only one of the witnesses we interviewed said that Mr. Zacharias engaged in sexual intercourse. This witness reported details of many encounters over a period of years that she described as rape... She reported that after he arranged for the ministry to provide her with financial support, he required sex from her. According to this witness, Mr. Zacharias used religious expressions to gain compliance, as she was raised to be a person of faith. She reported that he made her pray with him to thank God for the 'opportunity' they both received. She said he called her his 'reward' for living a life of service to God, and he referenced the 'godly men' in the Bible with more than one wife. She said he warned her not ever to speak out against him or she would be responsible for the 'millions of souls' whose salvation would be lost if his reputation was damaged."
I slept outside a few days ago. And it wasn't until my phone died and I was lone for me to spend much time with Him. Best night of my life. Crying now thinking about it. It's been so long

I’m not sure if Im truly saved or if I really am born again. My actions haven’t been reflecting that and at times it seems like I don’t care. But I do care and struggle with it. I remind myself of what Jesus has done and all of the beautiful promises. But at times I don’t believe with is written. I feel double-minded and it’s tearing me apart. Thank you for taking your time reading this ❤️
Hi, to start with, I feel the same. Lots of head knowledge but not spirit security. I see you like the reformed calvinist preachers. Same, but they are once saved always saved, so why aren't we?? I always deep in my soul feel like Christ has chosen me, and yet I am able to walk with sin and partake with the sinners. I am a crackhead Christian, 🤪 high as a write. Cuts on my hands from punching my sons door while drunk. And yet I feel ashamed, I pray daily just always have Jesus on my mind except when I blot him out while I indulge. I have been through Bible College, baptized and all flavors of churches. I think I am loved by God but lately been driving cautiously as I fear if I was too crash and die I would burn. I am guilty of living life for ME and extremely addicted. I believe in OSAS, I love my calvinist brethren, it was while at Bible College and truly having to study the Bible that I tended towards the truths and reformed bibliogy. I have tried to be a part of the elect and am searching myself to come to an understanding of my salvation. It is all God, God chooses some, and calls other's? Like with Israel, they are/we're chosen and yet some from other races joined them and believed God. The Elect will always be saved, the called have to decide.
@@Rad7272dad Losing that assurance of salvation. After walking willingly into sin, I do my usual asking for forgiveness, and then I tell myself ... don't let the devil convince you that you're not saved. I try to walk in that reality, although I don't "feel" it due to my willful sin, but ultimately I end up struggling with the lack of assurance.
@@Ransomhandsome ..yeah I feel what you going through, I got nothing, nothing too say, no words of wisdom. Be encouraged that while we breathe there is hope.
the Bible says not to be surprised about the firey ordeal that has come upon us but to be encouraged because it will refine our faith and shows that we are God's children because God disciplines the ones he loves. we all struggle with sin in this broken world but it's okay because we have Jesus who can overcome sin if we give him rule over our lives and let him take over our battle. Jesus said he is knocking on the door and will eat with any who let him in, meaning that no matter how much you feel far from him, he's always there knocking. let him in. and like Paul said in Romans "I believe that neither death nor life, nor angles nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord" you'll never be good enough my friend, but that is okay, because God loves and is close to those who aren't good enough and he makes them holy through his mighty power. I pray that this blesses you friend, God is with you.
You are undergoing spiritual warfare and the Satan is after your soul. Die to sin so he can't over take you. Be obedient to the Holy Ghost even when you want to transgress, set your focus and goal on the ten commandments.
34 seconds into this video and already this "preacher" has given me "license" to continue in sin the rest of my life on this earth. I wonder what "spirit" inspired this message. Romans 6:6 [6]Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. When we understand that we can be crucified with Christ sin will be destroyed in our lives and we will no longer serve it. Be blessed all 😇
Thank you. It was YOU Paul Washer who preached me into the realization that I was indeed born again when the devil had me doubting. Your advice, your teaching, your preaching has always been a light unto my feet as you are always faithful to the word of God. God Bless you.

God has been doing amazing things in me. He brought me away from 10+ years of heroin and alcohol addiction, then removed any desire for pornography and sexual immorality. That was without truly trying to walk with God, I thought I was content but he used an event to show me otherwise. Since then iv been fully or as close to it focused on him and walking with him. He's put it in me to pray more and to worship. I'm a reserved person but he led me to apply for a job in a Rehab to help people and hopefully be a light in a very dark place. I trusted him that he's doing the work in me to be able to do that because I wasnt really sure I wanted to but to the ACT of faith it requires and got the Job today. For me it's taking alot of trust in the Holy spirit to lead me into it. I could use prayer for Jesus to remove a medication from my life that iv been on for quite awhile. Ironically it's a medication that helped turn my life around not to be in destructive addiction but its going to take him to remove it from me. Some may think that's hypocrisy but I trust he is going to remove it and I can still be an example to those in rehab going through some real darkness. At least that's what I believe hes been communicating to me. Prayers for anyone struggling or seeking a different way. Jesus Christ is The way and prayer for a new understanding will bring you closer to him! Come humble and sincere and he will hear. Also remember change is an ongoing process in this life, it can be done in a flash by God for some but for most it's the process that we learn what he wants us to. God bless
1 corinthians 10:13 13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. This is a verse i repeat like a prayer whenever temptation comes. Remember it, memorize it, whet the sword of the spirit with this. Praise God for his righteousness and faithfulness.
Thanks Pastor Paul and the Godly way in which you professionally exposit the Word of God. For me I had a time with poor health to include cancer and heart disease that included sudden cardiac death. I was bitter at God and fell into drinking. He was not gonna bless my sin of rebellion. But when I returned to obedience I was restored and more joyful than ever, and plugged back into fellowship and service with a renewed sense of purpose. The Lord is so loving and faithful. 🤗✝️🙏
I love the realism God has given Pastor Paul. His choice of words are plain, simple and real. May God continuously keep on blessing you Pastor Paul, God definitely blesses me through you!

I am 60 years old, and just the last few months my wife of over 42 years are just now reading everyday and really learning just how simple it is. We were word of faith and we did not even know it. We were not obedient to his will nor reading. Since being exposed to this truth that I am nothing more than a dummy when it comes to Gods word. Temptation is real. You are so correct Mr. Usher. The word is the key. And it is simple but BH yet we make it so hard when it does not need to be. I Am 60 And I am just learning truth.
Make sure you approach God the way He expects you to-with the right mindset. Submission to God is essential: James 4:7-8 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. That's what your heart needs to be on when you are going through the process of repentance and committing to be obedient to God for the rest of your life. You must sincerely regret having sinned against God, and come to the point of hearing and agreeing 100% with Jesus' message saying, "I do not condemn you, now go and don't sin anymore" (John 8:11). Your obedience as you choose to follow God's ways is key-that's how you show your faith to God (John 3:36, Luke 6:46, Hebrews 3:17-18). That opens the door to receiving his *forgiveness* for your past sins (2 Peter 1:9), *healing* (Luke 5:31-32), *freedom from sin/addictions* (John 8:34-36), and the gift of *a new life* that you will live for God and no longer for sin and the passing things of the world (Romans 6:4, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 6:15). That is salvation. Please stay in the word and obey it (James 1:21-22). The word of God is fuel for your faith. To live as a follower of Jesus you must go out of your way to put the word of God in your heart and keep it there, rejecting all distractions. It's a fight and that's how you need to stand to not fall down. The truth will set you free from all sin (John 8:31-32, 36). For discernment's sake, please compare what is said in this video at 0:30 with what Jesus said in John 8:34-36 and seek to have a handle on what the Bible teaches about freedom from sin / being freed from sin. I wish you and your wife the best on your journey walking in God's truth. 1 Timothy 2:3-4 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
I have been struggling a long while with sins of lust, even if I have been a "born again christian" for a long time and due to isolation of the recent world pandemic I lost the fellowship of other believers and eventually reading the bible and praying was a thing of the past... but maybe a week ago I was shaken by the words in the bible of where Jesus said how many will come to Him saying "Lord, Lord" and He says to them "Go away from me, I never knew you"... that started for me a long battle of anxiety and feeling condemned to hell... but I found Ray Comfort's and Paul Washer's teachings here on RUclips, and I felt how a change started within me, and started to really understand the gift of mercy of the Gospel, and a strong fear of God came over me... so I totally gave myself to the Lord, in tears I confessed my sins and repented, and prayed that Jesus to be Saviour and Lord of my life... and the change in my life, even if I am only at the beginning, feels incredible even today: I read the bible everyday, praying, and my moral compass of not wanting to sin, to hurt my Lord in any way has changed... not only the deeds of lust where I even turn away when I see women walking around in lighter clothing, but I have been watchful of my tongue, that I don't use the Lord's name in vain or a curse word, which used to be such a regular thing for me... I have also got so much love for people, that I want to share the gospel with them... I still have things to fight and overcome, though... occasionally my mind is filled with doubt that this is just another temporary experience or this is just a me-thing I am going through, and thoughts of lust, and fear of meeting people to openly proclaim the gospel, but I still have faith that the the good work the Lord has started in me He will finish!
Should (and most likely when) the time comes where temptation has caused a stone in your path to trip you, do not wallow and believe all is lost. That sin is the new temporary. Christ is always beside you with his hand stretched out. Take it, rise up, and continue down the path of righteousness
May God Bless You Brother Paul for teaching the word and not apologizing for being truthful to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ....its not of ourselves but of the gift Of GOD through Jesus that we have been saved!😢 I have been weeping over the many sins previously in my life, for months now, k owing it was be ause of me a worthless sinner that yhe Father turned his face from Him...whose much love over a wicked ,wretch,an unclean lips among a people of unclean lips....its undeserving.....yet here am I...❤❤

I thought there was no hope for me spirituality a year ago becouse i turned my back on god 20+ years ago and fell into drugs but god is lifting me out and i thank him.
I repent 3 months ago and God is helping me until today to keep going. I had to deal with anxiety, fear, grief, regrets and guilt, and somehow there is a power from within me keep pulling me back, while my concience keep encouraging me not to give up but to keep living in repentance. It's the 3rd month now, i'm still struggling. One thing i know now, that memorizing the word of God is important to resist the sinful thought that can come up anytime. Here is my most favorite verse of the bible " Submit yourself then to God, resist the devil, he will flee from you" And it helps me to win the battle everytime the sinful thought emerges. I never experience such a long time anxiety and grief over my sins in the past. I can only surrender to God, to strengthen me.
Surrender to God is the key, you are right. And the new life in Jesus (Romans 6:4, 2 Corinthians 5:17) is a life of freedom from sin, a righteous and godly life, not a life of "ongoing sin." So, you need to be careful with what you are listening to. Did you catch what was said in this video at 0:30? "We will never be free from sin on this side of heaven." Please examine what the Bible says and come to your own conclusions: John 8:34-36 34 Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, *whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.* 35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. 36 Therefore 👉 *if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.* Romans 6:5-7 5 For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will also be part of his resurrection; 6 knowing this, that our old self was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin. 7 For 👉*he who has died has been freed from sin.* This is talking about "having died to sin" (1 Peter 2:24), so being under the grace of God and no longer under the power of sin (Romans 6:14). It helps to see the grace of God this way: Titus 2:11-14 11 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people, 12 *instructing us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly desires, and to live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age;* 13 looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ; 14 who gave himself for us, that he might *redeem us from all iniquity, and purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works.* It will instruct you and if you have a heart willing to submit to God, then the grace of God will produce its effect in your life and sin will never have the upper hand. You will always be able to resist any temptation because that is God's promise also: 1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

@yestothetruth you have broken and still break the 1st commandment. Nobody but Jesus has ever loved God the way He deserves to be loved. The bible also says if we say we have no sin , we are a liar and the truth in not in us. Read Romans. Even Paul struggled with sin saying who will save me from this body of death. That which I want to do I don't do. And that which I don't want to do I do. He calls himself a wretched man.
It would be more accurate to say that the goodness of God leads men to changing their mind regarding the utility of hurting other people. Penance isn't something God is interested in.

@@christianhalkides5707 The Bible didn't say it, Bible translators said it. The word translated into "repentance" in the New Testament is the Greek word metanoia. It's literal meaning is "a change of mind". But changing one's mind about the utility of hurting people is not something Bible translators can generally support because it doesn't cost you anything. Religious people like the idea of penance because that involves self punishment. But Jesus took all your punishment at the cross, if indeed any punishment was required. So why is more punishment needed? In addition. Even if the Bible correctly translated the word metanoia, which it doesn't, when did God tell you that you should regard the Bible as authoritative?

Reading the Word of God is the secret to growing. I have to believe that it is that simple. Read the NT from Matthew to Revelation in sequence to understand the context, and read it several times over, then move on to the OT. Thank you Paul Washer. 🙏😇
Sin has already gone. _"Whosoever is born of God ... cannot sin" 1 John 3:9._ So it's actually a sin to think you're sinning, for it flies in the face of the Cross where all was finished.

Be carful and dont be deceived many church's are going to lead many on the wide road Jesus said be holy he gave instructions on the sermon on the mount, He said sin so serious he liked the need to be sin free as to plucking your eye out or cutting your hand off saying better to go into the kingdom maimed the to go to hell whole He said to follow him and in order to do it we need to lay our lives down we need to die pick up our cross daily, When we lay out lives down for real it gets easier Its all throughout all the epistles to if you dont over look the scripture IF we determined to believe all scripture and NOT mans doctrine, These Calvinist do a lot to the scripture to make their man made doctrine fit, But IF YOU read for YOURSELF without doctrine glasses and read it for what it is you will see truth and the truth will set you free here is just a few Romans 6 6 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? 2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? 3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? 4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, 6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. 7 For he who has died has been freed from sin. 8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, 9 knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him. 10 For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. 11 Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord. 12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. 13 And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. 14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. From Slaves of Sin to Slaves of God 15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! 16 Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness? 17 But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. 18 And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. 19 I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves of uncleanness, and of lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves of righteousness for holiness. 20 For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. 21 What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. 22 But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. 2 Peter 3 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. 11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. Be Steadfast 14 Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless; 15 and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation 1sr corinthians 6:9-11 9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Brother Paul. I do struggle with continuous sin I know I am truly trying to turn from evil. I know that I do except Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Once and for all victory can be found in Jesus.

I disagree with that teaching. A Christian is set free completely. He who is born of God does not commit sin. That's what the Bible said in 1John 3:5-8. I too swallowed this error I heard from him, and it led me back to my vomit and addictions until I got back to the sound teaching of our real identity in Christ Jesus which is that we have been set free completely from sin. This erroneous teaching encouraged me in my sin that as a Christian I will sin less and ask for forgiveness always. Now I am free and I am free indeed, because if the Son of God sets a man free he's free indeed. John 8:32-38.
@samsonchibuzo8745 To say you do not sin is untrue. We sin daily, as is our nature. We battle it and seek forgiveness each and every day. The only one without sin was Jesus. Even the apostle Paul wrote about how he sins daily. It is the grace and mercy of God that we can seek forgiveness. This is not a license to sin, it is only shown that none of us are good enough nor ever will be good enough.
@Batman_83 Please give me Apostle Paul's Bible reference where he said he sins daily. The same Paul that wrote in Rom.6.22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. (KJV) What does born again mean to you? It's a change of nature. From the nature of sin(that sins daily), to the nature of Jesus Christ (that doesn't sin). Read 1John 3:1-10.
@samsonchibuzo8745 Romans 7:15 Paul talks how he does the things he desires not to do and doesn't do the things he desires to do. He does the things he hates(sin)

He also said “be holy for I am holy”, and He also said “be perfect as the Father in heaven is perfect.” Hebrews 6:1 says “Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance...” James said in James 1:4 “let endurance have its perfect work, so that you may be perfect and complete and lack nothing.” 1 John 1:6 also says “ if we say we have fellowship in Him and yet keep on walking in the darkness, we are lying and the truth is not in him.”
A more blunt way to say what Mr Washer is saying is if someone grabs you by the balls, you need to find a way to run. And run to God. Your balls is not worth more than your faith in God.
I started my first read through of the bible in June and I'm on psalms 51 right now. I most likely would be finished by the end of the year God willing.

I am dealing with a burden of a habitual sin. I have prayed for God to take it from me but I continually stumble. I know that it grieves the Holy Spirit, I know that it displeases God, but I cannot break free from it. I am married, 45 years old and I am as ashamed of this as a young boy would be ashamed of telling a lie to his parents. I literally hate it. Pray for me that God will move in my life. Thank you.
To those struggling with sin, remember, it starts with a thought. The birds may fly over but you dont have to let them nest on your head. Confess that thought to God, ask for His help, and RUN from it. Get away from that place of temptation!

May God continue to guide, strengthen and bless Paul Washer; himself and his family. And may Paul Washer continue to work for Him. Be it sooner or later, may his children find, pursue and serve God in time too.
"Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years draw near of which you will say, “I have no pleasure in them”; before the sun and the light and the moon and the stars are darkened and the clouds return after the rain" -Ecclesiastes 12:1-2
WOW, so recently I read through the whole bible in a month and people were like that’s insane you don’t need to do that but I did it anyway, and I would tell people like what we do is analyze each small puzzle piece with having no idea what the whole puzzle looks like, and this was the first time I had heard that analogy used as well. I love brother Paul!
@@morganmorgan4009 I don't find the name "Yahuah " anywhere in my King James Bible. Where did you find it? I put the word into the search engine duckduckgo, and found an article saying it is the name of Satan. Any comment?
Sin is the transgression of the “Law” which means the Torah 1 John 3:4 “ Messiah “ Go SIN no more WHEN THE SON SETS YOU FREE - you are set free from sin because when you abide IN the messiah you will not sin or stumble 2 John 1:9-11 9Everyone who is transgressing and not staying in the teaching of Messiah does not possess Elohim. That’s very good advice. I’m a travel nurse so finding and being involved in a local church is difficult. I want to fellowship with other Christians but if that’s limited in person, I go on livestream videos on YT, including sermons. It helps but it’s not the same thing. God knows my needs and I trust him. This is only one season of life. God is taking care of me beautifully! I have the sweetest fellowship with him. And someday I’ll have an eternal home with my church family and I’ll get to meet and spend time with all my brothers and sisters in Christ♥️
Hi sister! I’ve tried leaving a comment twice and it gets deleted. I’d love to have you join us on our telegram fellowship 💖 we meet every Wednesday on zoom and every Saturday for a prayer call. It’s filled with lovely born again brothers and sisters in Christ led by Steven Bancarz. Join us! God bless you and your travels 🕊✨
Coming into a relationship with Jesus is the most important thing. Many people attend a church and never come to Jesus actually (Matthew 11:28-30). It's all about being part of the assembly of those who worship God in spirit and in truth (John 4:24), those who are converted/saved from being disobedient to God to being obedient to God and led by his Holy Spirit (Ephesians 2:1-10, Romans 8:1-5, 1 Peter 2:9-10). That assembly of people is what makes up the church that Jesus built (Matthew 16:18). So, being part of the church Jesus build is not about being attached to a building called "church" that belongs to this or that organization. There is no hindrance for anyone to have an encounter with Jesus or serve Him no matter where they are. And He will lead his servants to gather and fellowship with others (it may not be a crowd) according to his will and purpose. Either way, prayer, faith and patience are key to bringing the will of God to pass in your life. Stay encouraged in your fellowship with Jesus. Peace to you!

Jesus doesn’t only reference hell, he describes it in great detail. He says it is a place of eternal torment (Luke 16:23), of unquenchable fire (Mark 9:43), JESUS ISNT THERE TO CONDEMN YOU BUT TO SAVE, JESUS IS LORD AMEN, HE GODS SON, DIED FOR YOU AND GOD RAISED HIM FROM THE DEATH ..
Jesus doesn’t only reference hell, he describes it in great detail. He says it is a place of eternal torment (Luke 16:23), of unquenchable fire (Mark 9:43), JESUS ISNT THERE TO CONDEMN YOU BUT TO SAVE, JESUS IS LORD AMEN, HE GODS SON, DIED FOR YOU AND GOD RAISED HIM FROM THE DEATH ......
Ezekiel 18:24 24 “But if a righteous person turns from their righteousness and commits sin and does the same detestable things the wicked person does, will they live? None of the righteous things that person has done will be remembered. Because of the unfaithfulness they are guilty of and because of the sins they have committed, they will die.
Just recently discovered Paul Washer and am totally blessed and encouraged by the teaching of the word of God. So appreciate his bold direct of the word. Paul am praying for your health and strength that you will be able to continue your ministry.
This amazing video confirms everything the Holy Spirit has been talking to me through his words about sin. Thank you, Mr. Washer. God bless this ministry.
Praised Be YOU LORD JESUS CHRIST... Hallelujah! I hate sins, and I especially hate my sins. Thank You JESUS for Saving a wretch like me. “O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?” Thank You JESUS!
Jesus will save you from that Romans 7 life. It's not the Christian life. There is a conclusion to that Romans 7 struggle and you find it in Romans 8:1-2. The foundation for the life of a Christian (follower of Jesus) is laid out in all of Romans 6. So, the account that you read in Romans 7 is not of Paul after he was saved, He says it himself in Romans 7:14. He identified himself as a slave to sin. Compare with John 8:34-36 and Romans 6:16-18. Jesus will save the wretched man to become his servant that He is pleased with.
@@yestothetruth thank you. I am Saved, yes even inside of this wretched body living in this wretched world, I am Saved. Thank YOU My LORD JESUS CHRIST… HALLELUJAH!
@@tmaddrummer What did Jesus save you from then? I am not asking for personal details, but what the Bible says Jesus came into the world to save sinners from. You cannot praise Jesus for saving you and leaving you to still be a wretched man. Something does not add up. We all come to God as wretched, but once we are walking with God the wretched life belongs to our past because in Christ the old has passed away and all things become new (2 Corinthians 5:17, Romans 6:4). I encourage you to examine that.
@@yestothetruth so you must be without sin? As best as I try, I have not reached the level of holiness, and sins still do happen for which I immediately repent. Yes, I have been Saved, but not so Saved as to be free to continue sinning in this wretched corruptible body within this wretched world. I am in this world but I am not of this world, and I have not yet received my glorified body as is written: Philippians 3:21 - "Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself." Peace be with you.....
@@tmaddrummer This is how I will answer your question: 1 John 3:6 Whoever abides in Him [Jesus] *does not sin.* Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. If I say I am abiding in Jesus and not sinning, does that make me lie? If I tell you that Jesus died for you so you could abide in Him also and not sin, does that make me your enemy? These are the words of Jesus, so what I am saying doesn't matter before his words, but I hope his words matter to you: Revelation 3:14-19 14 And to the messenger of the church in Laodicea write: These things says the Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Beginning of God’s creation. 15 I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you would be cold or hot. 16 So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I am about to spit you out of My mouth. 17 For you say, ‘I am rich, and I have grown rich, and I have need of nothing.’ And you do not realize that you are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked. 18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold having been refined by fire so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may be clothed and the shame your of nakedness might not be made manifest, and eye-salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see. 19 As many as I might love, I rebuke and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent. If you realize you are wretched, then there are some specific things Jesus expects you to do, way before anyone receives a glorified body, and these things go against the tune of "ongoing sin" like this video is talking about. This is not going to be a debate. Just something brought to your attention to do as you will with it. If you are going to hang on to false Romans 7 teachings about being the Christian wretched man, then I also hope you will embrace Romans 6 as a whole and agree with Jesus in time on what his salvation is about. I will go my way in peace now.

Here is a great revelation for you;
God is the judge of all things.
Forgive because not forgiving is harder on you then the person your not forgiving. GOD bless you!

Thank you for this, Pastor Washer. God bless you.
The new life in Jesus (Romans 6:4, 2 Corinthians 5:17) is a life of freedom from sin, a righteous and godly life, not a life of "ongoing sin."
Did you catch that at 0:30? "We will never be free from sin on this side of heaven."
Please examine what the Bible says:
John 8:34-36
34 Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, *whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.* 35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. 36 Therefore *if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.*
Romans 6:5-7
5 For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will also be part of his resurrection; 6 knowing this, that our old self was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin. 7 For *he who has died has been freed from sin.*
1 John 3:6
Whoever abides in Him [Jesus] *does not sin.* Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.
1 Peter 2:21-24
21 For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for you, *leaving you an example, that you should follow his steps,* 2 who “committed no sin, nor was deceit found in his mouth.” 23 Who, when he was cursed, did not curse back. When he suffered, did not threaten, but committed himself to him who judges righteously; 24 who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, *that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness;* by whose wounds you were healed.
Titus 2:11-12
11 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people, 12 *instructing us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly desires, and to live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age;*
It will become clear if you watch his other video called 'The Will of God: Your Sanctification.'
To be clear, if we are truly God's children He will see to it that we make progress in sanctification.
I'll share with you three remarks on that:
In Romans 7:14 the apostle Paul said he was "carnal, sold as a slave to sin." Compare that to John 8:34-36 and you see that this man struggling in Romans 7 was not in Christ, saved or set free by the Son yet. He was looking for a deliverance.
Romans 8:1-2 tell us how he found his deliverance:
_1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 _*_For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death._*
Romans 8:2 is the exact opposite of the situation in Romans 7:23, where this was said:
_"But I see another law at work in my body, warring against the law of my mind and _*_holding me captive to the law of sin that dwells within me."_*
It's captivity vs freedom. Being without Jesus vs Having Jesus and being in Jesus.
If it were "apostle Paul" as a born again Christian certainly who was struggling to keep himself from doing evil when he wanted to do good, then he would be in contradiction to what he had just taught the Roman believers in all of Romans 6, for instance:
Romans 6:12-14
12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. 13 Neither present your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God, as alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. 14 For *sin will not have dominion over you. For you are not under the law, but under grace.*
The apostle Paul who also said, "Imitate me as I imitate Christ" (1 Corinthians 11:1), would be a hypocrite to convey the message that going on sinning or struggling with sin and being defeated by sin is the gift of God that people who turn to Jesus find.
We will fall from time to time."*

I will quote what comes right before that verse:
1 John 1:5-7
5 This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
So, I am comfortable with these following scriptures too, I know that they speak of the work Jesus has done in my life, and I am not being a liar:
1 John 2:3-4
3 Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
1 John 3:6-10
6 Whoever abides in Him [Jesus] does not sin.
I struggle to overcome lust, I’ve been trying to overcome this sin, it’s hard I don’t want to be against God
Keep fighting sin. Matthew 5:29-30. God will help you. I promise. Cry out to Him.
Through Christ you can overcome it.

paul washer is a phenomenal preacher. to tell u the truth, i have heard some of his most outright truthful, raw, heart wrenching sermons about salvation that have struck the fear of God into me so strong that as a spiritual baby in Christ i became very timid about listening to Paul Washer’s sermons. today, as a Christian who is backsliding, battling sin, i came to Paul Washer on youtube seeking that fear of God once again and I just want to say Paul’s videos are not shock factor based, but of Godly love, and neighborly love, and the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God Bless you Paul! God is GOOD!
Whenever I listen to what Paul Washer says, I feel how God touches my heart and I always cry.
Jesus doesn’t only reference hell, he describes it in great detail. He says it is a place of eternal torment (Luke 16:23), of unquenchable fire (Mark 9:43), JESUS ISNT THERE TO CONDEMN YOU BUT TO SAVE, JESUS IS LORD AMEN, HE GODS SON, DIED FOR YOU AND GOD RAISED HIM FROM THE DEATH...
I am in tears right now, sister.
He's a false teacher
Heartcry ministry ❤
Don't try to fight sin by yourselves, Jesus is with you all the time. "Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you." Never stop worship in spirit.
Jesus doesn’t only reference hell, he describes it in great detail. He says it is a place of eternal torment (Luke 16:23), of unquenchable fire (Mark 9:43), JESUS ISNT THERE TO CONDEMN YOU BUT TO SAVE, JESUS IS LORD AMEN, HE GODS SON, DIED FOR YOU AND GOD RAISED HIM FROM THE DEATH.
...
God Bless and thank you for the verse.
Lord Jesus I confess and repent my sins to you, please Lord forgive me and give me strength and power to worship you, without you I am nothing, please pastor and whoever read this message please pray for me, I need your support in prayer that God will forgive me and make me whole
Make sure you approach God the way He expects you to-with the right mindset.
Submission to God is essential:
James 4:7-8
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God.
I've been a believer for 40 years and I still need to hear this sort of preaching. Thank you.
Jesus doesn’t only reference hell, he describes it in great detail. He says it is a place of eternal torment (Luke 16:23), of unquenchable fire (Mark 9:43), JESUS ISNT THERE TO CONDEMN YOU BUT TO SAVE, JESUS IS LORD AMEN, HE GODS SON, DIED FOR YOU AND GOD RAISED HIM FROM THE DEATH..............

Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
1 John 3:9 KJV
Thank you Lord of heavens and earth for the life of this man; he changed my life when I heard his old sermon about the gospel, since then I left the mega church where I was going to and looked for a local, theological solid church. I praise your name King of Kings for your mercy and grace over us. ❤
This is a very underated message. More "Christians" need to hear this. I, for one, needed need to hear this
you and me both brother
amen brother
I'm seriously struggling with repetitive sin. I'm so broken. But l know God will fight this battle for me.
Yes, Christians. Are you a believer?
This should be the top comment.
Brother Paul, I have to say I have never heard a man preach the Word of God so deep, so pure , and with so much power. You most definitely have the hand of God on you. Thank you brother for following your calling and God bless you and your family

Thank you for the message. I had a very strange couple of days. I've been struggling with drugs and I did it again knowing that GOD doesn't want me to. And I felt like GOD took HIS HOLY spirit from me. And I was brought to some scary scriptures and saw some things on RUclips about hell. I really thought that there was no more mercy for me. But I kept asking for GOD to forgive me and I just read James chapter 1 which you mentioned and I think that it is the LORD speaking to me. I screwed up. I was so scared. GOD isn't playing around with me. And I hear HIM loud and clear. And I mean to take HIM very seriously about this.
Me too the very same. I’m done smoking weed. I have to be as I may enjoy it for just a moment but spend days spiritual tormented for my choice as it takes me away from God. You got this and so do I, we can do this through the love of God. I will be praying for you when I pray for myself. ❤
@@realmseeker814 thank you Felice. I will remember you also

Only when I recognize my weakness and submit to Him, then and only then, can I see God's power transforming and renewing me in His love. Only through and in Him alone can I be changed. I thank God for the Gospel. I thank God that this battle on this earth is not a losing one, but a victorious one that has already been won by Our Lord Jesus Christ. I'm praying that I will be obedient in clinging on to God's Word, spend more time praying and reading His Word. Only then, can I have strength to love others, reach out to communities, be true witness of the Gospel.

John 15:3 "You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you."

Recommend you read at least through verse 6.
I’m currently stuck in a sin, I need to repent, please brothers, and sisters pray for me.
I understand man I’m in the same boat, I struggle with sexual sin a lot and I wish someone could pray for me
All I want to is be right with GOD
But don’t worry I will pray for you man
May The Lord come upon you in a way that drags you to Him and the study of His word.
James 1:21-22
21 Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness [that's repentance], receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. 22 But be doers of the word [that's faith, which implies obedience], and not only hearers, deluding your own selves.
James 4:7-8
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
This is always a good place to start drawing near to God:
Psalm 119:11
I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.

24for he looks at himself, and goes away, and immediately forgets what he was like.

4The one who says, “I know Him,” and does not guard His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

9And the great dragon was thrown out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who leads all the world astray.
Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has little time.”
13And when the dragon saw that he had been thrown to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male child.

1As to the coming of our Master יהושע Messiah and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, brothers,
2not to become easily unsettled in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as if the day of יהוה has come.
3Let no one deceive you in any way, because the falling away is to come first, and the man of lawlessnessa is to be revealed, the son of destruction,
4who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called Elohim or that is worshipped, so that he sits as Elohim in the Dwelling Place of Elohim, showing himself that he is Elohim.
9The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power and signs and wonders of falsehood,
10and with all deceit of unrighteousness in those perishing, because they did not receive the love of the TRUTH, in order for them to be saved.

Hey Michael can you give me some reformed churches/preachers here in the Philippines?
The truth of sin being deadly even to Christians is evident in what has trapped Ravi Zaccharias. His ministry has suffered irreparable damage and the testimony of the Church to the Name of Christ has been slandered.
Flee from sin, particularly sexual sin. It ends in death.
Pride was a big problem of Ravi's. This is how he justified his sexual sins, as a "reward for godly service" and can be seen even in the way he exaggerated his academic credentials.
@@theTavis01 did he really said that? "Reward for godly service"?

Thank GOD for JESUS

For the wages of sin is death but the free gift of God is eternal life. Thank God for His great love and mercies!😊🙌

Losing that assurance of salvation.
Jesus said he is knocking on the door and will eat with any who let him in, meaning that no matter how much you feel far from him, he's always there knocking. let him in. and like Paul said in Romans "I believe that neither death nor life, nor angles nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord"
you'll never be good enough my friend, but that is okay, because God loves and is close to those who aren't good enough and he makes them holy through his mighty power. I pray that this blesses you friend, God is with you.
You are undergoing spiritual warfare and the Satan is after your soul. Die to sin so he can't over take you. Be obedient to the Holy Ghost even when you want to transgress, set your focus and goal on the ten commandments.

9And the great dragon was thrown out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who leads all the world astray.
Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has little time.”
13And when the dragon saw that he had been thrown to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male child.

9The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power and signs and wonders of falsehood,
10and with all deceit of unrighteousness in those perishing, because they did not receive the love of the TRUTH, in order for them to be saved.

This was specifically given to me today by the Lord. Thank you.
God bless
If you love the things of this world the love of God is not in you. Remember to prioritize Him.
I just caught my idolatry and am now moving away from it.

@Hello there, how are you doing this blessed day?
I love the realism God has given Pastor Paul. His choice of words are plain, simple and real.

I Am 60
And I am just learning truth.
Make sure you approach God the way He expects you to-with the right mindset.
Submission to God is essential:
James 4:7-8
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God.
1 Timothy 2:3-4
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Amen 🙏

Here is my most favorite verse of the bible
" Submit yourself then to God, resist the devil, he will flee from you"
And it helps me to win the battle everytime the sinful thought emerges.
I never experience such a long time anxiety and grief over my sins in the past.
I can only surrender to God, to strengthen me.
You are correct. I have struggled too and you said the answer, surrender/ yield to God.
"We will never be free from sin on this side of heaven."
Please examine what the Bible says and come to your own conclusions:
John 8:34-36
34 Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, *whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.* 35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. 36 Therefore 👉 *if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.*
Romans 6:5-7
5 For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will also be part of his resurrection; 6 knowing this, that our old self was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin. 7 For 👉*he who has died has been freed from sin.*
This is talking about "having died to sin" (1 Peter 2:24), so being under the grace of God and no longer under the power of sin (Romans 6:14).
It helps to see the grace of God this way:
Titus 2:11-14
11 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people, 12 *instructing us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly desires, and to live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age;* 13 looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ; 14 who gave himself for us, that he might *redeem us from all iniquity, and purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works.*
It will instruct you and if you have a heart willing to submit to God, then the grace of God will produce its effect in your life and sin will never have the upper hand. You will always be able to resist any temptation because that is God's promise also:
1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

Well this sermon just changed my life! Glory to God & thank you Pastor Paul! 🙏🏾❤️

Revelation 12:9-17
9And the great dragon was thrown out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who leads all the world astray.
Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has little time.”
13And when the dragon saw that he had been thrown to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male child.

9The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power and signs and wonders of falsehood,
10and with all deceit of unrighteousness in those perishing, because they did not receive the love of the TRUTH, in order for them to be saved.

The question is why do you listen to the Bible in the first place? Is it because God told you to? Or because man told you to? So you might not be listening to me, but you are listening to someone, and it isn't God. He has been entirely silent on the subject of the Bible being his word.

I didn't change the word, Bible translators did. For religious purposes. To control you. So if you want to be controlled by human beings, then keep regarding the Bible as God's word. Even though God never told you to. Even though only a fraction of human history has even had access to it.

Sound advice. We are called to be holy. Sin has to go !

Romans 6
6 What shall we say then?
From Slaves of Sin to Slaves of God
15 What then?
2 Peter 3
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.
Be Steadfast
14 Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless; 15 and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation

It hurts sometimes hard to stay overwhelming sadness, but I will not give up. I will continue the steam card through Christ Jesus amen
Make sure you approach God the way He expects you to-with the right mindset.
Submission to God is essential:
James 4:7-8
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God.
Once and for all victory can be found in Jesus.

... ... . . .. .
(KJV)
What does born again mean to you? It's a change of nature. From the nature of sin(that sins daily), to the nature of Jesus Christ (that doesn't sin). Read 1John 3:1-10.

Paul Washer states “at the same time we will never be free from sin on this side”. Jesus said “whom the Son sets free will be free indeeed”.

Wow! I work nights. I had this on and had to stop watching it. I was starting to feel sorrow for my transgressions against the Lord.
That will lead you to transformation by the power of God and freedom from sin.
Peace to you!

That is salvation.
It is the truth that will set you free (John 8:31-32, 36).

To those struggling with sin, remember, it starts with a thought. The birds may fly over but you dont have to let them nest on your head. Confess that thought to God, ask for His help, and RUN from it. Get away from that place of temptation!

22And become doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
23Because if anyone is a hearer of the Word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror,
24for he looks at himself, and goes away, and immediately forgets what he was like.
25But he that looked into the perfect Torah, that of freedom, and continues in it, not becoming a hearer that forgets, but a doer of work, this one shall be blessed in his doing of the Torah.
1 John 2:3-7
3And by this we know that we know Him, if we guard His commands.

Revelation 12:9-17
9And the great dragon was thrown out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who leads all the world astray.
Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has little time.”
13And when the dragon saw that he had been thrown to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male child.

9The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power and signs and wonders of falsehood,
10and with all deceit of unrighteousness in those perishing, because they did not receive the love of the TRUTH, in order for them to be saved.

Paul Washer has scary sermons at times, but the good ones are really great! God Bless his heart and All Glory to Jesus! Amen!

He says it is a place of eternal torment (Luke 16:23), of unquenchable fire (Mark 9:43), JESUS ISNT THERE TO CONDEMN YOU BUT TO SAVE, JESUS IS LORD AMEN, HE GODS SON, DIED FOR YOU AND GOD RAISED HIM FROM THE DEATH
..
Desperately we need this to be shared.
Pray that God give me victory over the flesh. Paul Washer dish out the condensed word of God daily. God bless you real good daddy.
Submission to God is essential:
James 4:7-8
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God.
Ezekiel 18:24 24
“But if a righteous person turns from their righteousness and commits sin and does the same detestable things the wicked person does, will they live?

I am in this world but I am not of this world, and I have not yet received my glorified body as is written:

@@tmaddrummer This is how I will answer your question:
1 John 3:6
Whoever abides in Him [Jesus] *does not sin.* Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.
If I say I am abiding in Jesus and not sinning, does that make me lie? If I tell you that Jesus died for you so you could abide in Him also and not sin, does that make me your enemy?
These are the words of Jesus, so what I am saying doesn't matter before his words, but I hope his words matter to you:

14 And to the messenger of the church in Laodicea write: These things says the Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Beginning of God’s creation.
You carry the marks of a man that has truly been called as a pastor/servant of God, you carry His character, and preach what needs to be preached, regardless, brilliant, thankyou.
