A lot of people won't appreciate this remix because they're not from the Bay. They probably don't even realize all the Bay and Mac Dre references in not just the remix, but the original as well. To be honest one of the reasons why this is one of my favorite G-Eazy tracks is because of how it just shouts Bay Area. But to each is own. You can't hate just because someone leaves their opinion.

I first realized something was different about me the summer before high school. I was pushing everyone away and I just had this feeling on the inside. Like a hole. I didn't realize it at the time, but I was dealing with anxiety and depression. I had ignored it for years. I would lay for hours and listen to this on repeat and I couldn't tell you why.. it just felt right. I eventually got to go to a G Eazy concert, with who at the time, was a brother to me. Right before his set Started (Logic was performing before) a lady came up to us and asked us to go to the first row because they're was room. We were at the very top. He played this song before it ended, and its one of my favorite memories ever. When he would say 'Now I'm here bitch' it felt symbolic. He had made it to headlining an arena, and I had somehow made it, after all this sadness, to finally see our moments connect. We did make it.

In 2015, I was so deep in my addiction. Was hustlin n tryin to establish myself. To others in the game, that was easy for me..my ex was the one I couldn't please. This is the first g eazy song I ever heard and it stood out in the haze of my high as we went 90 down toll road 130 headed to central Austin.
