Over used is the term 'instant', but this tag genuinely applies to 'Swimming Places', it has a real uniqueness that has seen this track cut through the dance floor madness to become 'The' end of night record, from Miami '" Ibiza. An every set favourite with Solveig, supported by Rivera, Sanchez, MAW and many more, the quality is high. Jerome Sydenham turns the key to minor, throwing a whole different emotion on this track. Pete Heller opts to nice up the original but adds the trade mark 303 line '" we love this like we loved 'Big Love'. Stunning.

It's 12:19 AM. If you want a strong nostalgia, play this banger during midnight. There's something so relatable about it in this wee hour. It's a beautiful reminder of those young, fun and peaceful years of the early 2000s, and a beautiful reminder of how those years were simple - no Tiktok, Facebook, no touch screen phones, no selfies, no Instagram. Such a timeless song and it still sounds fresh.
The tension leading up to the bridge still gives me the same goosebumps it did when I was a teenager all those years ago. This song was played at almost every street bash (block party) in South Africa. All those times I sneaked out just to hear nothing but house music linger in my mind. Thank you Julien for such an amazing record.

The first time I heard this track was 2006 in Durban SA my god I didn't know anything about house music I was just a kid come from somali' hearing this masterpiece made me fall in love with house music to this day' classic old is gold
this is a song that makes time stand still, reflect on were you have been and were you are. This song is as fantastic as the era it's from.

Love this track I pulled out one of my old CD's Ibiza Annual 2006. I have not heard this in a long time. It reminds me of my Mother when she was alive she loved this song. She died in Dec. 26,2006.

@@cherls15 This was one of the biggest songs in SA at the time, when house music was the biggest music genre in the country. So many great memories are attached to this song for a lot South Africans. It was a relatively positive time, we were a fairly new democracy with so much hope and positivity. Black youth were free and could express themselves through house music. We embraced the genre on a deep spiritual level in South Africa and a lot of international DJs who came here can attest to that.
