I am honestly surprised that they let the match continue given the Pzr III was in a raging river with no chance of recovery in any meanigful time frame. I dont know water resistant it would be but as soon as it went under the surface, that should have been an all hands emergency regardless of the battle

At this point, tankery is still strictly just shooting at fake targets, as fake ammunition isn't a thing yet. The faster you shoot, the more accurate you are, and the bigger the distance the more points you get. Driving competitions are also becoming a thing. Not long after, Germany, Italy and Japan, having to prepare their youth for war, follow suit and make their first teams. Eventually the first teams of the "martial art" of "shensha-do" are opened. Over the years the believe that tanks are feminine only in senshado gets ingrained in Japanese culture. As the cold war starts in Europe with the USSR having seen the success of tankery, starts their own teams. As things become more and more intense during the cold war, and Germany (both east and west) being right in the middle of it all, start to reopen their "Panzerfahren" programs. With WW3 being a real possibility, tankery remains a male sport. The cold war goes on, just as it did for us. And as technology improves the first few real tankery battles (using paint shells) start taking place. Things go on, and eventually we land in the modern times of the show. Japan is the only nation with a girls only tank program. Meanwhile most countries with tank programs are either co-ed, male only, or have separate male and female teams Turn this into a copypasta
