28 years ago I lost my 6 year old son then 8 years later my 30 year old sister and 2 months ago my beloved husband. I have had many chances to test the reality of this song! Praise God it is well with my soul even in the midst of grief! Thank you for your amazing rendition of this beautiful song!
3 years ago, I lost my athletic, seemingly healthy husband of 33 years to a heart attack. In my grief and brokenness, I searched for songs to help me get through as I struggled with the reality of losing my best friend. One night I was looking for "It Is Well With My Soul" and came across this version. I had never heard of you guys, but I loved your version of this song and I played it nightly for months as a reminder to me that even if I didn't understand why God took my beloved husband home at the age of 56, I could depend on God to know the reason, and to be by my side as I worked through my grief. There are still times when it gets hard as I discover what God has for me, but I know I can have peace, knowing that the path He gives will be where I need to be to bring Him glory. Thanks so much guys for being a part of my journey!
As with most of the best quartets, the best singer (the best voice) is the baritone. And I say that as a Tenor! I’m a retired Hymnist, Hymnologist, Minister of Music and Quartet member. If you don’t have good baritone with a great ear, you don’t have a quartet. My specialty was a cappella hymns, and I must say this is a very well done hymn! Thank y’all! 🤠

Today. Redeemed Quartet will hit 20,000,000 views on You-Tube!! This weekend, they will probably hit 100,000 subscribers. They basically had the same numbers on FaceBook until their site was removed for no reason after being there for over six years! In my book this is plain miraculous!!! Over 40,000,000 views of four best friends that God told them to start singing together at ages 17,17,19 and 19. They knew absolutely nothing about music and had never sang by themselves before. I have never once heard them say "push that like button" or "please subscribe"! To me this has all been blessed by God because four young men wanted God to get the Glory!!! Love to the Redeemed Quartet!!! God raised you up for His Glory in this hour and I don't believe you have seen the half of it yet!!!!!!

This touches my heart as in two years my oldest brother was killed, and then mom and dad were called home. God took them home. I had the privilege to be born into a Godly home with loving parents. Whenever I hear this hymn I just start crying and realize that God was not surprised when my brother, mom and dad were called home. People say I’m sorry you lost your loved one, and I say I know exactly where they are and they are where we all want to be, my brother did not get five minutes before he died. He didn’t even get five seconds before he died. Praise God praise God he made that decision as a young man to accept Christ and follow hard after him. Don’t wait please don’t wait I can’t imagine the grief if we didn’t know that he was home as the Bible says this is my beloved, and this is my friend. He’s with a Saviour who he served and loved so much. We are looking for that great reunion day, whether by grave, or by the Sky he’s coming back oh yes our Saviour is coming back to take us home. God is good all the time and all the time God is good.
These four young men no doubt have been physically touched by Almighty God to sing such beautiful melodies. I believe one day they shall all one by one surround the Throne of the Most High and sing the songs of His Glory. Gentlemen I thank you so very much for sharing your talent.

I lost my mom and my sister a week apart and my father a few years later. We used to sing this at home during our family worship every evening. 😢 In between all these I found my fiancee with another woman in a hotel room when I was 4 months pregnant, few weeks later I lost my unborn child and ended the engagement. I have been through so much pain and suffering but the joy that awaits me is greater than all of these. I have found comfort in the word of God and the hymns I listen to. During all my pain and sorrows the Lord was with me and he is still with me. I cannot find anyone in this world that can mend my broken heart for the losses that I have been through and the pain and suffering that I am in but Everytime I hear this hymn I find peace in my heart. I pray that one day I can find peace to move on and I can find love and happiness again. If it doesn't happen I wait for that glorious day for Christ to come again. All I can say is, it is well with my soul. 🙏
