    Yesterday I soldered all three K4B4G1646E-BYMA... After full calibration (including DDR) and repeated firmware update, there are still no changes in operation! The memory depth has not changed. I don’t see any point in uploading a dump from 900 to SPI Flash, I’m sure that it is overwritten during the update. We are waiting for Rigol to start selling memory as an option :D

    Nice work i am waiting for your next video

      Thank you! I upgraded the cooling system and built in an automatic analog fan speed control system. Now RIGOL does not make any noise at all. Would a video about this be interesting???

      @@stepan.koshman yes i like that. i have dho814 also its getting hot after using 30 min so i decide to replace heatsink...

    By the way, in new revisions RIGOL uses K4B4G1646E-BYMA, and you can buy it without any problems..

    I saw your had a mod of the logic analyzer port added. Does it work? and would be good if you do a video explaining all your mods when you are finished 😊

      Yes, LA works, but I installed not only a 40-pin header, but also two operational amplifiers and one dc-dc converter, which were not installed on the board.... Of course, I will make a final video with explanations, but it will be not soon..... I also plan to add a signal generator board 😉😉😉

    Did it work?

      I cannot yet guarantee that the additional memory chips are somehow used by the oscilloscope system, most likely not at the moment, I need to carry out extended self-calibration, and only after that will it be possible to draw any conclusions. I'll be doing this next weekend...

    Какая температура?

      У меня 65-66°C, при этом я вообще не слышу шума. И она стабильна после прогрева, в независимости от внешней среды.(не очевидный бонус)... Сами понимаете как это важно в такого рода аппаратуре.

    But DHO924 use GDP2BFLM-CA DDR3(L) 4Gb
    but you use
    H5TQ2G63FFR-PBC DDR3 2Gb from what I can see in clip

      Yes, it is like that

      I think he was asking why you installed 2GB modules instead of 4GB?

    • @stepan.koshman
      @stepan.koshman  11 месяцев назад +1

      Because I saw exactly these modules on one FPGA ZINC 7000 debug board. And those installed in the original version are not on sale anywhere.
