A beautiful Marylebone with a beautiful history. Love the streets and the shops and love the books! The gardens are lovely with the summer house - even though a formal burial ground! LOL Still a great place to stop for a cup of tea. I would love to go to Wigmore Hall. Ohhhh Regents Park - with the lovely lakes and the Weeping Willow trees and fountains! And the tunnel of greenery and fauna. Love it.
Thank you for the video Steve. Now I know how to pronounce Marylebone 😁The shops look super expensive. The Garden of Rest is very interesting. It's like a mini cemetery surrounded by the shops. I love seeing the streets off the beaten path that aren't filled with tourists. The Mews are so beautiful. We've walked through a few in Kensington
Great video, I used to live on Lisson Grove in the late 80's and never ventured to all these areas. Will definately take a stroll when I am back in January
What a beautiful area. It's so near everything but you just don't know about everything there. Those mews houses are lovely and the one with the woodwork was something else. So many nice places to sit. I love the little squares. Anywhere with a cheese shop is a good place. How many of the cafes and coffee shops did you try ?! Those little shop look fascinating 😍. I could spend a long time ⌛️ ⏲️ in the bookshop in the beginning. I had never seen the place before. I wish I could come back to London and explore all of the places you take us to. I wonder 🤔 how much it costs to be seen by a Harley Street doctor these days.
You're so right Lesley, so close to everything but so well tucked away! Yes that bookshop is amazing and as it specialises in travel books I could spend ages in there! I think in the minimum price for a consultation in Harley street would be £200! Certainly need a good wallet to go there! :)
Hi, I watch two London channels, yours' and one called Hannah Rickets. This story relates to a question I would like to ask you for your Q&A videos. A couple of weeks ago Hannah took us with her shopping for some new clothes. I think the video was called "The strangest shopping mall in Europe." It's about this power station that they turned into a mall. Well she goes into this empty store that has just her and one worker and she's walking up and down the aisles showing us the clothes that she likes and she holds up a dress to show us and when she lowers the dress guess who is shopping right next to her? ROD STEWART! She leaves immediately and outside the store says "Well guys, if that's not worth a thumbs up then I don't know what is. So my question to you is, have you ever stumbled upon someone famous? You are such a nice man, keep up the good work!
Hi there and thanks so much for not only watching the channel but also for your lovely comments, really appreciated. I havent seen the video but do sometimes catch some of them and I guess she was in Battersea Power Station and that was some guest appearance! A brilliant question and as I have just filmed this months (for end of May) your question will be the first one I answer for the one I'll do at the end of June - thank you so much - love it! Thanks so much again :)
Hi Leanne, so weird that you ask as tomorrow morning I am heading to both Chelsea and Belgravia to cover the 'in bloom' event on this week. I'm not going to the show and I will see what I can do next year as never been but planning to bring it to you in Sundays video! Great question, thanks 👍😀

You've got to love a lovely mews and yes there are so many around Kensington, a lovely area of London :)

I walked in Lisson Grove the other day and one street away in Paddington it's just like a wholly different world with the immigrants!
@@lepetitchat123 I wonder what my kids will think when we visit in January. They have been brought up in rural New Zealand
@@annyaboyd3141 it's not dangerous, it's just "multicultural" lol
