Have you tried going down those narrow streets / paths in the city , there are some in Covent Garden and even around Mayfair plus other places , plenty of pubs and small shops to visit away from the crowds that the locals use.
How cool is this? Our favorite Hawaii guides telling us secrets about London! We found you when planning trips to Kauai in the past, and came across these new videos while planning our trip to London in 2 weeks. Love the new channel!
We're so glad you found us! You are the first one to notice! Have a wonderful trip to London for the holidays. England makes Christmas very festive. Happy Christmas!
Well done guys! As a Londoner (even though I know these places) it's refresing to see a video that claims to have alternative places to see ACTUALLY show alternative places!
Another great vlog! You guys really seem like you are a fun couple - I like the banter back and forth! You definitely introduced me to a couple of new spots that I am adding to my itinerary for when we visit London in 2024. Keep them coming!
Next time you're in London try visiting Postman's Park, a small park not far from St. Paul's Cathedral. What makes it so interesting is the Wall of Heroes, a collection of tiles with the names of people who lost their lives saving others, starting from a few hundred years ago right up to the present day. It's quite moving and well worth a visit.
Sorry for being pedantic but that postbox is more likely to be George V or VI. George IV died 25 years before the first postboxes appeared in London. Anyway, I enjoyed the video a lot. Next time you visit some other hidden things to see include the Charterhouse (best seen with a guided tour), St. Bartholomew the Great church, Temple church and the legal district surrounding it, Lincoln’s Inn Fields with Sir John Soane’s Museum, and the memorial to heroic self-sacrifice in Postman’s Park. Many more of course but that’s off the top of my head.
Years ago I lived in the East End & used the No 15 bus. It went to Paddington ( maybe beyond) & took in those sites plus Piccadilly Circus, Regent St, Oxford St & Marble Arch. Much better than hop on/off buses.😊
So much better than a hop on/hop off! There are a lot of great bus routes around the city. You had an excellent commute. My commute used to take me from Clapham Junction out of the city. Not great.
Aloha guys! Thanks for the London tips. Ran into this channel doing research for our trip. Seen you guys a few times around Maui I think around puamana. 🤙🏼
Hi guys I discovered you channel just a few days ago and I love it!! However I don't see anything about spots at Christmas time and I am wondering whether you could tell me anything about the Hyde Park fair which sounds a bit touristy to me, is thet right, thanks a lot!!!!❤
I’m glad you found us! We talked about Christmas Markets in our newsletter last Saturday. YHyde Park Winter Wonderland is more like a carnival than a traditional market. More party and less on local stalls. Southbank Christmas Market is another option for you.
Thanks for sharing. The Heritage Route T15 is a tourist service (private company) so it isn't associated with Transport for London. Oyster cards won't work. It is like booking a ticket for a London bus tour.
There are two foot tunnels in London not one. The other is situated at Woolwich to North Woolwich so check this one out to. I suggest visiting royal Victoria gardens whist at North Woolwich

What type of stroller do you have ? It looks like it travels well and folds up. Please put an amazon link below.
It looks like a regular British pram, they are everywhere.
It is a Yoyo by Babyzen. It is a French company and as Victoria says below, they are very popular in Europe. They fit in the overhead bin on planes.

You can still ride routemasters on 15. They are every 30mins, they renames the route as Heritage Route T15.

We have a red post box that still has the George VI moniker……hope it stays that way
Me too! Such great history

Thanks for sharing! We will put Royal Victoria Gardens on our list to visit!

😊😮 Hi guys... Re Charing Cross - it's actually pronounced _Charring_ Cross _not_ Charing (so with the 'a' sounding like b_a_n ..or.. b_a_t, _not_ _b_ar_n_ okay?)😊❤🏴🇬🇧🙂🖖
You’re so right. Thanks for letting us know and sharing the correct way to say it.
