By far one of your coolest videos. This trail looks friggin incredible! The whole video looks like you guys are just cooking. So much speed and flow. Keep it going!
Love that follow cam. It's mesmerizing to watch people that make it look super effortless but still being playful. The Trail Peek dudes make it feel that way too.
Great video Brian! I'm heading off on a 4 day MTB trip this week! You have inspired me to ride and this trip is because of that so thank you very much!!
Wow, I don't know how I missed this video last week. Looks amazing I need to head up North and ride one of these days. Don't get down on yourself you are riding blind and following some legit riders. I was really surprised at how well you kept up when I took you down Mt Wilson and the Aliso / Laguna trails. Looking forward to the sequel!
Hey Brian! Just wanted to say that you've inspired me to start riding again. My bike was ridden a bunch back in the day but then life too over. Ever since I joined your channel, I've ridden every week just about all summer. And falling back in love with the trails. Thanks Brian!!!
All because of your videos, I'm branching out from the local trails and planning a camping/riding trip. We're gonna hit Hole in the Ground, Mt. Hough, Mills, and Downieville before heading back to rip up hometown Auburn. Thanks for always providing Strava links, etc., it helps sort it all out so much!
That looked intense! Soooo fast. I don't know if the video made it worse but the dust was crazy to watch. I don't think I could have stayed behind someone with trail conditions like that.
Sphincter check at 9:00 followed by some BKXC words of wisdom. The dirt on your face at the end shows how awesome your ride must have been Brian! Great edit!
Hey Brian, you are keeping up for the most part! Give yourself some credit. So I drove all the way out to Quincy and forgot my helmet about a month ago. Looks like I missed out :/
The day I started really digging your channel was when you said " who cares about how many teeth on the front sprocket , it's about how much fun you having on the bike " 😂😂that's the BKXC way man and we love it , ride on Bri 👍🏽👍🏽
WOW, that was 12mins. it felt like 5. That was such a killer video, your stuff is getting better overtime. I mean that is the way I rank a video. If I have to grind it out or get bored then it wasn't really good. But if it feels like 5mins and you want more at the end. Well that was AWESOME!!!! LIVE-LIFE-LOUD!!!🤙
👍👍👍 Do you ever swap bikes? just to see how different tyres feel or have better or less grip depending on manufacturer. ( Ignoring suspension set ups or bike type).
Finally did this the other day after a failed attempt this past winter. The climb was 3 hours after a few stops for snacks and watch them do some logging. Its definitely better to shuttle but for sure a good ride.
BKXC of course! I'll start tinkering with ideas. I have two good friends in Albuquerque who know trails better than me. Besides Albuquerque and Northern New Mexico have some sweetness.
Great video, awesome trail. Also Brian if you get the chance, check out the Hero 6 Blacks stabilizing on you chesty mount without the gimble.. I'm wondering how good the new h6 is on a mtb.
To quote Seth's Bike Hacks "STS"!! Awesome trail, gotta add this one to my to do list 👍 Nice riding but man I'd be choking on all that dust! Next time try on of those cowboy style bandanas wetted a bit to catch the dust. And wear goggles!
I cant remember how many times I've rewatched this video, such a sick trail, and Jonathan is an absolude shredder... Any way I can request we get more Jonathan Lee follow cam? his youtube channel doesn't have many vidoes to watch, but you can learn so much from just watching how he rides and paying attention to his movement.
Great trail, look to be well maintained. Kudos to the park district or, riders and volunteers. Some are just born to ride. No matter how much I train or practice I will never be on the same level as others. Fine by me. Bottom line is i love riding and enjoy every second on the saddle.
Its amazing how you can talk and ride at the same time. Nobody its better at it. Seth does great voice over, but its easier when you don't have to ride.
For me, fast and smooth is amazing and seems easier than techy and chunky. I'd like to hear more about why it is so challenging for you. FYI, I'm sure you are a better all-around rider than I.
I will have to WATCH it next time, cause with fresh wallnuts out of the shell, with the skin peeling off, I just can't stop cracking them one by one :-)
holy shit......I just did this trail....this is like 30 min from me!!!! so cool to see your on local trails!!!!!!!!!!!! We went from the top by Crystal Lake and rode the Mt Hough Trail all the way back down to the parking lot, like 10 miles of nothin but sweet downhill trailing, at 5:08 on your right in that grove theres a small bear that lives in there :) happy trails!
Man Jonathon. Is faster then a bullet. Beautiful flow by him. Now this is a balls out fast fucking trail . I for sure thought you where hospital bound when you where losing it. Awesome recovery nuggets you pulled I out.
That was awesome to watch! On a side note....and not to take away from the skill of the rider in front of you....frame geometry is crucial when at speed...another big one I found was bar length....everybody is going too wide in my opinion....I tried 780 and even 800...i found myself either over correcting in a turn or way under cornering...tested my bars out for months before I finally went back to my 740. In your vid it looks like your over/under correcting like I was. Ride safe bro!
By far one of your coolest videos. This trail looks friggin incredible! The whole video looks like you guys are just cooking. So much speed and flow. Keep it going!
Awesome! Glad you enjoyed it!
Foot out, flat out! That looked so flowy and awesome. The dude was rippin' on that XC rig!
Haha yep, the right tool for the job on this trail!!
My home town, an a fun note- they do run shuttles up it all day🤘
that the definition of flow!!! cool
No doubt about it!
Love that follow cam. It's mesmerizing to watch people that make it look super effortless but still being playful. The Trail Peek dudes make it feel that way too.
So damn true!

Yeah, it was a damn fun one! Always putting the pressure on myself to get better.
Hey Brian! Just wanted to say that you've inspired me to start riding again. My bike was ridden a bunch back in the day but then life too over. Ever since I joined your channel, I've ridden every week just about all summer. And falling back in love with the trails. Thanks Brian!!!
Awesome!! I love hearing that!
Dude! I think that was Big Foot. Awesome video Brian. You guys were ripping down that trail.
Sasquatch in the flesh!
Love hearing that Justin!!
That trail looked so fun, fast and lots of flow - perfect.
It was a masterpiece!
That looked intense! Soooo fast. I don't know if the video made it worse but the dust was crazy to watch. I don't think I could have stayed behind someone with trail conditions like that.
Haha yeah the video didn’t do the dust justice!
Those are Trailpeek-Speeds. Love it.
I’ll take that as a compliment!
That's my old spot haha
Used to live in Quincy for 3 years when I went to Feather River College. Miss those woods.
Very cool!
It's like speederbiking true the forrests on Endor... Nice trail Brian. Lovin it.
It really was!
Sphincter check at 9:00 followed by some BKXC words of wisdom. The dirt on your face at the end shows how awesome your ride must have been Brian! Great edit!
Haha thanks man!
Hey Brian, you are keeping up for the most part! Give yourself some credit.
So I drove all the way out to Quincy and forgot my helmet about a month ago. Looks like I missed out :/
ARGHHHH! Brutal
True story, he's keeping up, he got nothing to fret about. I wish I could ride like thag..
For sure, since he is keeping people in frame, he is keeping up. Great job Brian.
that lake has a perfect name!!!
Yes!! I will ride this trail.. looks like heaven. Thanks Brian
Thanks Ric!
Looked very dry but still a great ride. I'm impressed you hit your shin on your bar and didn't crash.
That was the most "oh shit" slo-mo crazy weird moment I've had in a while!
Holy cow this trail is amazing! Jonathan is so smooth! so finesse like a French rider.
Haha yes!
Ryan Docena wow, that’s quite the compliment! 😊

Holy cow Brian warp speed nine the fastest ride yet... thanks for taking us along again....
Thanks dude!!
The day I started really digging your channel was when you said " who cares about how many teeth on the front sprocket , it's about how much fun you having on the bike " 😂😂that's the BKXC way man and we love it , ride on Bri 👍🏽👍🏽
Hahaha yes!
Now that looked amazing, wish we had big country trails in the UK, also great riding from you all, thanks for your continued hard work.
Thanks Scott!
Nice video man 👍🏼👍🏼🤙🏼
Pretty Amazing! I'm so done with my locals trails, need to visit Quincy!
Haha do it!

Hey Brian, another great vid mate. Super fast and flowy! Love it. Reminds me of tracks here in Oz. Again I'm jealous. I want your job!! 😁
Thanks dude! I made this job out of thin air, you can too if people like what you're doing!
awesome video! Quincy is such a great town
Thanks dude!
Man that ride was gnarly! I wish I could ride with y'all!!!
It was a blast!
👍👍👍 Do you ever swap bikes? just to see how different tyres feel or have better or less grip depending on manufacturer. ( Ignoring suspension set ups or bike type).
I don't like riding other people's bikes because I crash enough to cause real damage.
Finally did this the other day after a failed attempt this past winter. The climb was 3 hours after a few stops for snacks and watch them do some logging. Its definitely better to shuttle but for sure a good ride.
Nice!!
I do that trail with my son every weekend. It never gets old. just fast and flowy.
Nice video Brian. Definitely gonna ride that again this fall. Stoke meter was up to 11!
The stoke overfloweth!!
This is another epic episode! That trail is insane! One of these days we need to have you hit up NM and see if you like the trails.
Thanks so much David!!
BKXC of course! I'll start tinkering with ideas. I have two good friends in Albuquerque who know trails better than me. Besides Albuquerque and Northern New Mexico have some sweetness.
So fast. You guys are awesome!!!
Thanks Matheus!
So many hidden gems like this in California.

Holy cow that trail was incredible. I need to get some buddies and shuttle that or just man up and climb for 10 miles.

Thanks dude! I lost it in Revelstoke!
Another trail for my Tahoe/Downieville trip.
Brian Vaughn - this one is WELL worth the visit. It's almost like an extended cut of 3rd divide in d-ville
Hell yes!
Amazing ride!! That's sick!!
Thanks dude!
Thos this on Monday. Was a blast. Dare to say this might one of my top rated desents. Nevereneding flow and speed
Wow, that's my kind of trail! Love that fast flowy stuff!
It’s special
Great video, awesome trail. Also Brian if you get the chance, check out the Hero 6 Blacks stabilizing on you chesty mount without the gimble.. I'm wondering how good the new h6 is on a mtb.
I've seen enough with the Hero6 that I'm not going to make the jump, the audio is still not up to par yet.
To quote Seth's Bike Hacks "STS"!! Awesome trail, gotta add this one to my to do list 👍 Nice riding but man I'd be choking on all that dust! Next time try on of those cowboy style bandanas wetted a bit to catch the dust. And wear goggles!
Yes! I thought about doing the bandana!
Okay now I wanna come to Cali...those trails looked so badass!! Wish I could find a trail like that in Texas lol
Make it happen!

Dude, I was going to ride with him TOMORROW but he had something come up. We had a massive day planned too!
Sweet trails around there! Didn't realize this one shot out right at Feather River Camp
Yeah, it's an amazing ride!
So cool! Wish we had trails like this.
I wish everywhere had trails like this!
lol good job on that last table top ha ha
That guy was clinical. MTB ninja
Great way to put it!
Great trail, look to be well maintained. Kudos to the park district or, riders and volunteers. Some are just born to ride. No matter how much I train or practice I will never be on the same level as others. Fine by me. Bottom line is i love riding and enjoy every second on the saddle.
Getting outside and LIVING is the ONLY thing that counts!
Im learning in the fast and smooth its all about turning with your hips, i dont know if this makes any sense but maybe later it will
Yes, I've been trying that too!
Que buena, esperemos estar algún día por esos lugares!!! Saludos desde Chile
Gracias amigo!
Its amazing how you can talk and ride at the same time. Nobody its better at it. Seth does great voice over, but its easier when you don't have to ride.
Haha thanks man!
You may be a little slower than the crazy people, but it looks like you're getting decent air, too.
Haha, doing my best!
Lawyer up @ the 4:30 mark! Lol. Brian man, ya gotta stomp into those transitions man!
Hahah thanks

Enjoyed for sure! Thanks.
Glad to hear it Jeff!
That was awesome to watch! Very interesting! Thanks Travis
