- I went down to Downieville, CA for the 2018 B1ker Camp and had a great first lap on the Downieville Classic run with Brian from BKXC and Paul from Paul the Punter. I hope you enjoy tagging along for the ride and let me know if you think I kept up with the man himself!

Yes!! So glad we got to get a ride in on one of the most iconic routes in MTB history. What we didn't see is one of the most scary almost-crashes ever when Josh took the lead for the first time put the heat on!!

Love your videos. Great work! I've been riding Downieville for over 30 years. I'm 70 years young and still ride. Going back this summer. Many of those trails go back to the 1850's during the gold rush. Rode Downieville with a Specialized NO suspension, Cannondale F700 hard tail, GT LTS 2000 and finally a Cannondale Scalpel with the "Lefty".
Was fun seeing your lines dude. I've only seen like one other person take your line through the waterfall. Sad thing is the internet doesn't get to see how sketchy that line really is. The depth perception on GoPro blows! Thanks for coming down to ride and hang out with all of us. :)

Nice video man! Glad I happened here by accident after watching one of Brian's videos. It brings perspective into how fast Dane and Zach are when you see how fast you guys were motoring down the trail, and even Brian will concede that he can't hold their tires for more than a brief period. I made a video once of an Intense demo day locally, and at one point I slapped my gimbal and GoPro on a local rider here in northwest Arkansas who is ridiculously fast and stylish...Tanner Stolt.
When I posted the video up on RUclips, people accused me of speeding up the footage when he had my camera rig on. They just couldn't believe he could ride the same trails they ride...THAT fast. I told them I didn't touch it, but that it just appears so much faster because it's me riding in the rest of it. :-)
Sorry for the poor lighting and sound...mottled sun, and it was before I figured out how to diminish wind noise on the Session, but this is what ridiculously fast trail riding looks like! ***Start at the **2:10** mark*** when Tanner has the rig on. It's nuts, and I did not alter the speed one iota.

There's a level from a good, experienced rider to absolutely insane! Those guys (including guys like Tanner you filmed) are nuts!
Yeah...I got home and watched that footage, and I'm not joking, he was going so fast that at times I didn't recognize the trail, even though I've ridden every inch of it hundreds of times. Humbling to say the least. I subscribed, and looking forward to your videos popping up in my feed! Ride fast, take chances....

@dailymtb , Brian doesn't run an XC channel... All of his interviews he states that he didn't know that XC meant cross country, but he says that it means 'across the country'.
So true! I was just giving him a hard time about it!
He knew it was cross country, but he didn't know it meant lycra and bikes with 100mm of travel
