Looks great from a few feet away Fred! Personally I wouldn't tackle a lob like that, I''m too afraid that I would botch up the job. I would find an old body man to to do it, like the guy's I worked with 45-50 years ago, if anyone is still living, many are no longer with us. They used the soapy water method to align the transfer. I worked as a parts manager in Olds and Chevy dealerships and sold hundreds of rolls of woodgrain transfers for station wagons and Firebird "chicken" decals our customers and in our own body shops. I don't recall ever seeing one anybody screwed one up.
That’s funny you say that, the first thing I ever attempted to wrap was the center console of my 68 firebird. I hated that wood grain they used, I used a blue Cardin fiber looking wrap and it came out good. Friday I’m placing a decal on my bronco and I’m going to use the wet method. I got lucky not screwing it up on the Maverick. Hey, thanks for the comment and have a great day.
Thank you, if your going to try it and have never done it before, it might be easier to use the wet method. I placed a hood graphic on my Bronco using the wet method. Takes a little longer but allows you to move it to get it perfect. I got lucky. Have a great day.
Nice looking decal 👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks, I’m glade I went silver and blue, not black and blue. Hey, have a great holiday season
