Well there's always something for which to be thankful. It's ok to acknowledge the negative, but it's important to count our blessings. Just because one guy has 3 bullet holes in his leg compared to someone else who has 1, doesn't mean the guy with 1 is necessarily better off than the guy with 3. 😊

Did you know that Ben Carson a doctor on Trumps team as Director of housing was a brilliant pediatric neurosurgeon. He actually separated 2 babies joined the same as these girls. No one in the world would do it. He did it successfully. Watch the Ben Carson Story. A movie. He grew up in the projects too.
I am sure separation has been looked into. It probably isn't possible in their case.
The Iranian twins Ladeh and Ladan were joined at the head and couldn't live with it. They had completely separate brains and at least had the advantage of facing the same direction.
They wanted a separation at all costs.
It cost them their lives.
They were buried separate.
I respect them.
There is no way I would want to live like that.
They must have surgery. It must be possible today if Ben Carsen was able to separate babies with this condition.

These 2 girls were born in my homeland/country Suriname 🇸🇷 and traveled to the Netherlands 🇱🇺 when they were little girls .
I’m German and I was wondering why I understood parts. Now I know

Do you know why they left your country? Did specialists in the netherlands offer to provide healthcare, something like that?
They left for special medical treatment and more opportunities and life standards
Do they live back in Suriname now or did the family move to the Netherlands permanently for access to health care. I know in most countries finding doctors familiar with conditions as rare as theirs is hard to find, even in large countries, because of how uncommon it is.
These women have more insight at a young age than we will ever know or understand about cooperation, tolerance and improvisation.

I had a friend once like that for 15 years, and as i kept thinking about it and being around her for those 15-plus years i told her we could still be friends but , not in each others company because she bought my spirit down always talking negative never positive and as todays date 05/27/2024i haven't been in her company for over 10 years i might call her every new year talk for 30 minutes and before those 30 minutes are up she's gonna say i can't "really you has to be in the conversation to believe it " she's a sad and lonely person it's unbelievable but , true , thanks for listening god bless 🙌

Are they able to be separated?
Craniopagus twins typically can't be with the very real risk of one or both dying. One of them said they don't share a brain but I'd imagine they share other vital systems like blood vessels, etc and maybe the blood brain barrier.
There's also the case that maybe they don't want to be separated. They don't know anything different than their current life and they seem to be managing quite well.
I have seen some separated but that usually seem to lead very bad disabilities (specially for one twin), like not able to walk or talk. So probably better for them to stay conjoined because of the risk and specially being older huge risk they would die too.

The saddest thing about this is the fact that when one dies, the other inevitably will too. That has to be a nightmare experience to have to wait to die with your dead twin attached.
No they can get the other one surgically removed but it’s extremely hard to do that

People might be appalled to think about sharing a body with someone, in terms of using the restroom and privacy. But all these girls know is each other, and they probably wouldn’t feel too embarrassed about these things. Still terrible, but I imagine that it could be kinda lonely if they got the surgery

It’s because a lot of people are raised with the belief of “even if I’m suffering, someone has it worse, so I shouldn’t talk about my problems because they’d invalidate someone else’s.”
So basically the people talking about complaining are saying that they see their own problems as invalid no matter how difficult they are to deal with because of the difficulties these twins most likely face due to the way they’re conjoined.
