WR get a few more years and QB’s a few after that. Sure there are exceptions but on the whole it’s the nature of the NFL. It’s a brutal sport and a decade of playing it takes its toll. Far different than running track as they don’t get chased by 250+ line backers and slammed into the ground.
One of the most complete running backs of all time perfect combination of speed agility and power which is almost unseen and he recovered from a brutal injury as well as winning the mvp in his first season back also coming second in the single season rushing record. Truly phenomenal player. But if you want to see a true speed demon you gotta check out Chris Johnson

He just finished his second year as a running back for the saint and already has an impressive highlight reel. He especially seems to have a habit of literally jumping over defenders.

He came back from a damned ACL tear, lead the league in yardage at over 2000, became the league MVP, and only failed to break the single season record because we had to kick the field goal win to reach the playoffs. Which could have been even higher, but his head coach was sitting him.

After a 3 hour practice at Oklahoma, still in full pads Adrian Peterson ran a 100 yard dash in 10.3 seconds. I wouldn't of believed it but I saw it in person. And even last year with the Redskins he still ran for over 1,000 yards and he's still their running back. He is literally a freak athlete.
Devin hester, nfl and college highlights are both top notch. adrian is my fav player of all time, as a cowboys fan it use to be emmitt smith but as sooners fan in college 'all day' won me over. Hes a bit old and weathered now but still had a amazing season this year. had a few runs that deserved to be on this video, seems like they didn't bother with his cardinals and redskins runs.
AP was the most excited I ever been for a Vikings draft pic. It was a blessing to see his career with the Vikings, he was unreal. Percy Harvin was also drafted by the Vikings and later traded but early on he had some amazing seasons. If you like highlight video's he's another guy that will amaze.

You could hear the players with their cleats jogging to the field, even the 180-190 lb corners. Then Dickerson comes out at '6 "3 225 lbs, and you couldn't hear his steps because of how light he was on his feet. He ran upright and you thought that he wouldn't be so effective, but he turned out to be a legend.

Years back he tore pretty much every ligament and tendon in his knee and 4 months after he had his knee reconstructed he was at the Vikings training facility doing 5 and 1/2 foot box jumps. He tore his ACL then got back 4-5 months ahead of schedule and proceeded to rush for over 2,000 yards directly off of a torn ACL. That's absolutely BANANAS.

Minnesota fans have not been blessed with a Super Bowl victory but have been blessed with getting to watch some of the super-elite players at their position. Tarkenton retired as the holder of every significant quarterback career record. Alan Page was named MVP even though he was a lineman who played defense (either was enough to disqualify every previous player). Randy Moss was Randy Moss (what other football player can make that claim?). Of course, they were all traded away (as were Carl Eller and Chuck Foreman).
If you like fast running backs, you might want to check out Eric Dickerson. He played for the Rams and the Colts. He’s the all time rookie rusher, if I remember correctly. With his long legs, he looks like a gazelle running...lol.
A new running back you should check out is Alvin Kamara. He was rookie of the year two seasons ago. He's not your standard RB, he doesn't run the ball every down. He's extremely versatile and catches the ball a lot. He's combined for over 1,500 yards rushing and receiving both years and has 31 touchdowns in just two seasons.... I love watching this guy play!

A new running back you should check out is Alvin Kamara. He was rookie of the year two seasons ago. He's not your standard RB, he doesn't run the ball every down. He's extremely versatile and catches the ball a lot. He's combined for over 1,500 yards rushing and receiving both years and has 31 touchdowns in just two seasons.... I love watching this guy play!

That strut that he does when going into the end zone originally was done because it put your feet under you instead of in back of you, so it reduced your chance of getting takled. But today, a lot of players do it to show off.

Some RBs score by looking for the best way out, and some just look for the shortest route to the endzone, and think good luck if you wanna get in my way. You know, the guys that step out before getting hit vs the guys that initiate contact for 3 more yards. AP ran away from nothing, and his injuries are just sad. Great player in college and NFL.

My good friend played free safety in high school. Unfortunately he met AP in the play-offs. He still refers to it as " the worst day of my life".
And he is still playing and had an ACL surgery and came back in less than a year and had one of his best years when he came back.

DUDE unbreakable is amazing, it’s about his injury which should have been CAREER threatening and he bounced back and had, IMO, the greatest season ever for a RB ( because everyone knew it was going to him every play and that’s it )
