Everything Layne did is gold but the live at The Moore version of Wake Up is goosebump inducing. Epic performance. He'd written so many more songs and hadn't lost interest in music as the media had everyone believing. It's a massive fucking shame we'll never get to hear any of it❤. Such a waste of raw talent and pure humbleness. I struggle with heroin and methadone and have done for over 20 years so his music always spoke to me. Still does.

You might not have a lot of views and/or subscribers, but the research and info you put in your videos is excellent and I appreciate it. Lot of it hasn’t been put into video form and your videos will be here for anyone curious as to the history that your videos hold.
    Thank You

Mad Season... What a beautiful album. As a bass player myself I really enjoy the bass playing on it. It's so Bluesy and the bass tone is just rad! I'm gonna listen to that album after watching this. Thanks for all that you do! I hope your mental health is doing better. ❤

Love Above. Such a great and unique-sounding album, honestly, it made me realize what an amazing blues career staley could have had, and in general, I think the group clicked incredibly well on stage, alongside Lanegan, and I love to imagine an alternate reality where Staley, Lanegan and Baker got clean permanently around that time and continued with Mad Season for many more albums. So much talent poured in one band, that was unreal, and Lanegan and Staley are my favorite voices period so you can Imagine how much I freakin love their duet on long-gone day and above.

These lads gave Lanegan full royalties on the album for only collaborating on 1 song too. (Long Gone Days) Proper musician’s. God bless those lads. 🖤

Anyone else grow up hearing river of deceit on radio and just assumed it was a 1 hit wonder “superband” album? How fucking wrong I was.

I only know one song from them but I really like it. “ I don’t know anything “ Although I may know more that I’m unaware of . I get heavy Alice and chains vibes with that song

I love seeing/hearing Layne play guitar in that song. I know he played in Angry Chair and other songs as well but his style and tone in IDKA is epic. You can tell he's getting more into his guitar comfort zone. As a player myself, you could see it wasn't something he'd done a lot of in Angry Chair but got more loose in the fingers by the time he did IDKA.

I found it spunout that Tom Morello was the one to teach him though...not Cantrell. He idolised Morello so can understand it but I used to think Jerry would've showed him more.

So much incredible talent gone to waste, and way too soon...sad. Even after all these years. Rest in peace Layne, Baker and Mark. Damn, almost everyone from that era is long gone, now that I think about it...
