      Have you put some modification on it like upper crash bar or something like that ? I also have same bike but without aux light

    Sorry, but you are displaying the wrong specs. You are reviewing the f850gs Adventure but the specs you're showing are from the f850gs (not Adventure). There are significant differences between the two bikes. The Adventure is heavier (244Kg), has a bigger fuel tank (24L) and has a lower top speed (197km/h).

      Goran Vitkovic thanks for the note. Yes correct this is my bad. I wanted to share the standard entry level specs for the 850 lineup.

    Hi just reviewed 2 testrides. The new bmw f850gsa and the triumph tiger xca 850 (hope I got the id right on both) - Good tests and comments but I do miss that you completely missed testing the triumph off road like on that soft sandy road you tried the bmw on.

      Thanks for the feedback and support, much appreciated. the reason is that most of the dealers are in the city miles from any dirt and do not allow for much time with the test bikes.

    Excellent review, Can we say that the only difference between R1250 and F850 are the engine size and power transmission?

    • @0to100Adventure
      @0to100Adventure  5 лет назад +1

      Krisda Dabmetha I guess so, weight, size.

      @@0to100Adventure also, adjustable front suspension on the 1250 as well as rear. 850 only has adjustable rear.

    Nice review 👍🏻. It would seem that you are riding the “Low” version of this bike. This model does not include ESA suspension. Just an FYI...

    great review, u sound totally cool, if you're in so cal, let's go for a cruise! I test drove the f750, f850 gs, & r1250, and by far the f850 gs was my favorite, i'll be buying the f850 gs or gsa this week! I even liked it better than my 2010 f800st, which i drove for 53k miles!

      Tony D thanks, so cal is far far away...but you never know. Enjoy the new ride and stay safe.

    Nothing light about the 850gsa.244kg versus 1250 gs which is 249kg give or take.The 1250 carries its weight better.Anakee 3 are a surprise but you are better off with Karoo streets or similar in the dirt.Thks.

    Hello, I have an F850GS adventure and at 70 and 100 km /h it presents a noise that disappears when you exceed 110 km / h
    Have you heard this noise?

    • @0to100Adventure
      @0to100Adventure  4 года назад +1

      Juan Luis Jaureguy I did not notice anything on the test bike. You should take it to the dealer to have it checked. Cheers

      I may confirm between 100 and 110 like some big huge mass start to rotate

      I just did 1000 km service and they told me that sound is coming from tires and depends on outside temperature, tires pressure and type of road. This is normal as per BMW service. I tried different pressures on same road, 35+ C, outside temperature and sound is coming at different speed as you change pressure, so yes I believe them that sound is coming from tires.
      I love this bike. Just made 400 km trip in one shoot and did not felt tired it all.

    I am 1.75 tall what do you think , it is too big that bike for one like me?

    • @0to100Adventure
      @0to100Adventure  3 года назад

      I am 1.80 and had no problems, I believe it should be fine. Best to make sure you are comfortable though at the dealer.

    • @wickedtwix
      @wickedtwix 3 года назад

      1.75 should work. I am 1.76 and they gave me the 850 gsa in rally spec with the talles seat. I had to slide one butt cheek of the saddle at stoplights to ge my foot down propperly. Whe on the seat, only two toes reached down. The standard seat is better and if you take the low on you are a good 6cm lower if i am not mistaking. Plus you can always opt for the lower suspension which gives you another 2-3cm but with less suspension travel and no esa. I ordered the standard GSA and might buy the wunderlich low seat if i have issues.

    Nice bike but considering the price tag and brand I believe engine should be manufactured in some civilised, quality country.....not in China, aside of this very good review, thanks .
