  • In this tutorial, we show how you can pass multiple parameters to the "Perform" trigger using a note-on translator. This allows "Perform" to take different outgoing actions based on the parameters passed. The video is in the style of live coding.
Note: this requires Bome MIDI Translator Pro version 1.9.1 or higher.

These tutorials are incredibly valuable - thank you! A little bit of feedback that would be helpful for me, and other I’m sure…
    - Can you please offer some quick examples of applied use cases during your videos? There are obviously endless uses, but my non-engineer brain has difficulty extrapolating how the variables and rules shown can be applied to how I use the program (mainly to control the Adobe Suite, Ableton, and trigger computer automations).
    - Could you please leave some breathing room in your instructions that would allow us to see exactly how your software is setup? The cuts are often so quick that even pausing on the right frame becomes a challenge.
Thank you so much for helping us understand these incredible tool!

Thanks Jeff. Sorry we do have to keep them rather short so I suggest you pause if needed. Of course if you need more help you can reach us on your forum. We are happy to help more there and give you some example. Most use cases are there as will by Bome Customers along with how to solve them.

Greetings! One friend who is blind wants to buy a Ketron Event, but he needs a midi controller through which he would call styles and voices, so that he could dial a number and call a specific voice or style. Do you have any suggestions? Ketron Event has the possibility of midi connection via USB-B connector and via classic 5-pin connectors (MIDI OUT, IN...).

The question really has nothing to do with Bome. However in my personal opinion, any controller that he can touch keys or pads should work but if he is totally blind, he wouldn't be able to see LEDs and would have to rely on what he last touched.
I'm not aware of any controllers that would provide touch feel for an LED on or LED off status.
