Race with Hornet classic (1990 Chevrolet Lumina NASCAR) Manual Transmission in 2 Stages Beginner and Expert / 2nd Stage use the TOYOTA Camry NASCAR in Advanced
Man idk how you pull off those drifts so easily, I had so much trouble getting sub-19 times on Track 1 to barely get third place by doing 160MPH turns (manual) on the third turn. Was a fun time at the arcade though.
This game is pretty much a Daytona 1 HD version. So it's 4-1-4 and being quick to full steer while changing gears About pulling drifts...I was using a controller, that means a 180 degree steering is condensed in 1cm, more or less. That definitely help to start drifting when required, but also I had to be very precise moving the joystick or I'd be sliding out of control Thankfully not so long after I saw that using a XInput emulator (x360ce for example) on a wheel you can play it how it's supposed to be
The game was a financial failure due to self-inflicted piracy. An update for the game accidentally contained the entire game with it, which means that any computer can run it once obtained. As soon as the game became playable on any computer thanks to fan patches, the game struggled to earn any profit in Arcades.
Does this still have adaptive difficulty? Because you are sucking balls on that first race and got 1st. I work my ass off to avoid all the cars and got like 11th.
Championship does have only one value of AI Speed (basically, one difficulty fixed for everyone). So i'm afraid that your comment smells some skill issue right here For the records, curiously you didn't mention how I did the 3rd race, which it was a really bad run
@@DRV6479 I'm pretty sure there are difficulty settings in the menu, so only the arcade workers would know what they are set at. I assure you if you drove like that at my local arcade you would not finish first.
I'll tell you an important thing that might won't have been said in that video: Difficulty settings only applies for Single Race mode, not Championship
Impressive, Metro City is now *a city*

@@X2011racerthat's really sad
Because it was ported to the dreamcast 20 years ago
Has this game been emulated on PC?
In short, no
Long answer: Technically you don't need emulator or interpreter, but helps for more stability and controls
Actually yes, get redream and a daytona usa 2001 rom 👍
No more Try Again

are you racing with a wheel?
Nope, I was using controller.
Using a wheel you can get rid of hipersensivity
no tracks from daytona usa 2?
Sadly, no. Take it as a HD version of Daytona USA 1
@@DRV6479 oh too bad, Daytona usa 2 is kinda underrated
Doesn't have the X-Factor of the original.

Look buddy, which part of "Championship has only one difficulty" you didn't understand?
@@DRV6479 I guess the part where I see a youtube video of the arcade menu where it has difficulty settings.
