Thank you. My 82-year-old mom's blood sugar went sky high with her chemo treatments and the doctor ordered this device for her. The written directions were overwhelming, but your video was simple and clear. We appreciated the clear directions!!!
I just got diagnosed with diabetes. I tried to read the enclosed instructions. No luck. I’m glad I remembered to try RUclips. Your video was so helpful. Thank you very much
The written instructions are absurd. This video is perfect for the device and well paced for a first time user. Thanks for posting this! I hope they paid you.

Great tutorial. Very thorough and explanatory. While you did mention that you start at a number 4 on the lancet device and that you can adjust the depth of the puncture, it wasn't stated that the higher the number the deeper the puncture. No big deal. Just throwing that out there in case anyone needs that detail.
Thank you so much. I’m a pharmacy technician and saved this to my phone for my clients who are receiving this kit for the first time as this is the kit most commonly prescribed here. Thank you!!!
Thank you for this video! Recently got diagnosed with gestational diabetes and my OB wrote out one of these so I could keep up with my sugar. The instructions that came with it are very overwhelming and hard for me to understand. So thank you for this quick simple tutorial.
Watched this video not because i'm about to use this device but just for awareness on what is it like using the lancets & test strips. Just getting idea about these. Working on a healthcare account customer service representative. Member/Patients are asking for us to mail order their prescriptions such this popular one touch test kit. Most of them having issues with the compatibility of the monitor from the strips. And i'm like "what?!" Now i get it. Now i know how i will assist them everytime they will call and ask for help. Thank you! :)
Usually, I use the ihealth version but my primary doctor ordered the onetouch accessories. Didn't know it until my granddaughter brought my prescriptions to me. Never used it before and thought I wouldn't be able to check my blood sugar until whenever I was able to get the ihealth. But thanx to your video I was able to use the onetouch ultra. Thank you sir👍👍👌👌❤❤❤
Thank you for literally shedding blood to make this video tutorial 🙏🏼 The instructions that came with the product seemed overtly complicated. Perhaps for legal reasons.
Omg, thanks loads, I've been switched from my accu-chek meter system (which i used and loved for over 10 years by my pcp), to this new system that came with a mini manual. Don't have that kind of time or patience. Mostly I can just look at something and put it together, other times I need a visual like this. Simple, quick and to the point. Thanks again. Great job!👍
Thanks for the video! I’m like so many others, I just got diagnosed and this was my first self test. Your walk through made my experience pleasant. Thanks again!
Thank you. This video was very helpful and easy to understand. My doctor showed me and we took a glucose reading. However, now that I’m trying it on my own at home, my results keep coming back with, “use a new test strip and try again”. What would be the reason for this? It’s happened all 3 times I’ve tried using it at home.
I have the same meter, though mine did not come with a case. But my question is, which number gets more of the droplet? I have it on 5 currently, and it is sufficient so far. I wasn't sure if it was a big enough droplet for an accurate reading.
Hi, I have been getiing results in singel digits such as 4.6 / 5.9 / 4.1 etc and I was told to multiply it by 18 to get the final result. it it correct or how can I fix or configure it? Thanks
I thank you very much for the video I would like to know how I can set up the Average then to Hocked it in the computer please to see the reading when they are up or down I don' know how to express .... it is like line to show within month if my sugar is up or down .... Tanks

Hello sir I have the same machine , I did exactly the same as you showed in the video, but I do not see the code 25 on the device screen, what do I do ? I changed the batteries. Please can you help me with this?
Thank you so much for all this helpful information 👍 what number did you use on the lancing device? First time user and don’t want to overdo anything 🙏
I did great after watching your video!! However…. I am having an issue with doing my second meter reading. An error came up. Do you know who can help me with this?
Thanks didn’t know I had to push the stick all the way in the monitor until it’s turns on itself. I kept pressing the button and it was showing the set up menu
How do you get the monitor back to beginning to test again? Main menu comes up….the number 25 would come up and it would show a test stripe is ready. I can’t get to the 25 again.
I did all the steps, just like you did... my result was 139. the problem now is my secound trying, i insert the strips just like I did the first time but nothing come out like asking me to put the blood, it dosent say anything. doy you know why? thank you. and sorry for my inglish my language is spanish.
Does anyone have an idea why it doesn’t show 25 when I put my test strip in? I checked that the numbers match but it just shows three lines when I put the strip in. Thank you 🤗
I've been using the one touch ultra two for years. my code on the machine has always said, "code 25." yesterday, i open a new container of strips. The container says Code 25 on it, but when I insert the test strip, the machine says Code 28. I'm not sure what's going on. The strips will test my bsl, but, I'm wondering if it's accurate? Anyone know what the deal is? The are one touch 2 ultra strips.

If you put a test strip in and the device does not turn on does that mean they aren’t the right test strips?
I have the same meter, though mine did not come with a case. But my question is, which number gets more of the droplet? I have it on 5 currently, and it is sufficient so far. I wasn't sure if it was a big enough droplet for an accurate reading.

Great video but I’d also like to be able to reset the data . How do you clear out all the previous readings so u create a new history? Ty

thanks for the video!!
What does the numbers mean? I put it on 4 but not sure what that means. Thank you

What about if the code on the strip doesn't match the code on the bottle
When the code is displayed on the screen you can use the up and down arrow buttons to change it.
My strips are kinda fork shaped. Which end do I put into the monitor?
Mine never came with the case. Any idea why? It's just in a box. Where am I supposed to put it when we go out ?
Interesting, they must sell different kits.
Thank you!

I have the same reader but the 25 will not shoe on the screen. What am I doing wrong?
Do you have to set up new every time I use . Waiting for code 25 takes for ever . I hope I'm not doing anything wrong ?
Would you recommend this or the Contour Next Gen? I am newly diagnosed and am torn between these two.

I do everything you say to do but when I draw the blood and put the blood on it when it shows the drip but it doesn't read it
I want to know haw i can erease all the lectures to start a new lista and how can i load the lectures and what decides it can be.

Yes, it stores the previous readings in memory.

What do we do with Lancets once cap is placed back on?

What happened? Did you get an error code?
Is it possible my machine can be messed up I'm doing it exactly as u say and it keep telling me error each and Evey time
Why does my meter have a long plastic strip where the battery is located I can’t remove it
Thanks didn’t know I had to push the stick all the way in the monitor until it’s turns on itself. I kept pressing the button and it was showing the set up menu
If you got 9.4 is it a good thing

My strips don’t have a code ??? What does that mean
How do you get the monitor back to beginning to test again? Main menu comes up….the number 25 would come up and it would show a test stripe is ready. I can’t get to the 25 again.
Inserting a test strip should bring up the testing screen.
So my first test went swimmingly however when I try to do a 2nd test it doesn’t register the test strip…
