Great video Endia, some really good tips for myself and my team! I can absolutely relate to what you said about not doing something once, just to check off a box. Especially if people are looking to be promoted to a senior role, I’m really looking for structural behavioral, for example in terms of taking initiative or bringing innovative ideas to the table.
@@loyayyay Thank you! Your’re right. One of the best compliments I got from one of my direct reports was when they asked me to explain what is expected to get to the next level. They said it was the clearest explanation they got from anyone. Working in a world of vagueness it felt good that I was able to build trust and give that person tangible examples to work with.
