One thing that bothers me is when people say they won’t buy replicas because of working conditions but still purchase from Dior. Just say you prefer to pay $10k for the same bag they got for $100 because you want the real thing. As you so eloquently said, if you have issues with company’s practices make sure you know all the companies they are associated with cuz it may be farther out than just the business itself. As for that luxury houses have to realize these quarterly price increases are going to cap out at some point and the same number of people won’t be able to afford it. It’s time to differentiate yourself and invest in different income streams. And restaurants are super smart. I thoroughly enjoyed this discussion!!!! ❤❤❤

I would have never thought of it that way at all. I guess I was always taught to think of the other person, especially for something like this. I would feel so bad that they traveled so far and apologized profusely for the inconvenience. But you are right, for someone to feel comfortable to make the drive and rearrange their schedule means a lot and you definitely have a positive vibe. Thanks for the different perspective.

I got EXACTLY what you were saying here. We should show ourselves as much compassion and love as we do other people. I read a post today on IG where a young lady said she was entering her UNhumble season. It’s ok for us to be proud of ourselves. It’s ok to tell ourselves how awesome we are. I think it was beautiful that you are such an amazing friend that someone would be willing to drive 3 hours just to spend time with you!!!! I bought so many clothes from them and alllll my clothes shrank after washing. Some dresses I can’t use anymore. Ridiculous. I really loved the brand, but i regretted.

I have a few pieces… only buy on sale because I am not willing to spend full price for the quality of the fabric…most knit is polyester (and I steer completely clear of that) and the rest is questionable as well… it must be said that the model/prints are quite exceptional so I will buy on sale (waiting for an order just now) but absolutely not worth the full price.

1) It's OKAY to add to your collection. 2) I'm annoyed at the luxury and contemporary key cases because I have a base model car that still has a key and it's too long for those cases. It defeats the purpose of using the key case to protect the rest of the items in my bag from being scratched by the key.
