I can't believe how good this amazon compressor sounds. It's clean, quiet, and squishy. I'm playing a Fender Custom Shop Strat through a Victory V40 Deluxe set on a clean setting. Mic'd with a Shure SM7b

I love this pedal. I use it for sustain on my bass it brings out the decay longer. Perhaps even for a simple boost it’s worth it. Heck for $25

Mine is interesting, I cant get it to sound like a compressor but it makes a great volume boost

It’s overdrive for your clean tone! =]
It's a compressor, friend 🤷🏾 it evens the loudness, lowers the loud and raises the soft, that's what it does, no overdrive or distorsion, there are other specialized fx for that.

I bought one, didn't compress much, returned it.
Interesting! I’ve found that it compresses when cranked. Maybe it’s just not the coloration you’re looking for
My all time favorite compressor is the Cali 76 stacked compressor for Origin Effects.
