John Saxon appeared fairly regularly until February 1986, so it was more than a handful of shows. His character was involved in a love triangle with Felicia and Zane Lindquist.

Thank you so much for this treat. Very hard to find AW up to about mid-87.

In the episode, the character with a French accent was played by Quebec actor Serge Dupire, who's best known for playing in the movie adaptation of Les Plouffe and as the lead in Le Matou. It's too bad that the commercial breaks were all network blocks, because some of the local Montreal commercials aired on CFCF-12 were really priceless in their cheesy DIY style.

The same year John has joined an all-star cast in Oliver Stone's Academy Award winning Vietnam
epic, "Platoon" (1986) for Orion Pictures.

Definetely during AW's worst of times. The early middle 80's were just AWFUL.

It was almost during this time, they were doing a re-invent flop of Texas. I didn't like the vibe as if they were in Texas and forgot they were in the midwest city of B.C.

I do think that 1983-1984 have some very strong moments.
