More horror coming soon Wizards, but first, let's try a challenge run! 🧙♂
if you sneak through Yngvild and get to the chamber undetected, sneak around and grab the soul gem on the pedestal - it will break Arondil's control over the ghosts who will then attack and kill him. the only really satisfying way of completing this dungeon imo.
A trick shot from a stealth archer also works.
I've read about it and did it and I watched as his servant killed him then I set them free
See I just tank my way through and don’t even notice the secret stuff
Real asf😭@@msharp6887
What happens after that though?
If you bring Habd's remains to the top of the lighthouse and burn them in the fire at the top, you'll get a permanent bonus called sailor's repose. It's mentioned in some of the journals you can find in the house that he wanted his remains to be burned in the lighthouse so he can watch the sea for all time. I do it every time I go into this lighthouse now.
I can't fanthom the amount of knowledge that I have acquired at this peculiar hour of the night thus scaring the dragon out of me
I clearly remember the first time I did the Frostflow Lighthouse quest - - it was so horrific and tragic.
I felt so sad and bad for Habd and his family. I still feel sad about this quest in every playthrough.
Just finished it again. Needing chaurus chitin for that sexy falmer follower gear lol.
What makes it worse is that you can't even blame the Falmer like you could a band of demented bandits or what have you. If you know anything about the history of skyrim then you know that the Falmer suffered a similarly tragic fate. Now they're just animals acting on instinct, no worse than the Skeevers in that house by Rorikstead.
The lighthouse quest is one of the few quests in Skyrim that has ever given me the chills.
I remember the reaper loot being disappointing, It should have dropped something better like a unique weapon or summon, instead it just drops black soul gems which you can just buy from the Winterhold college.
Occasionally when I walk the streets of Whiterun a redguard will come up and ask me if I get to the cloud district very often
One of my favorite pastimes is introducing that man to the cloud district... using my voice.
😱
I think one of my favorite unsettling encounters is in Falkreath(?) where there's an uncommon one-time encounter during the evening/sometimes night. There's a field where a farmer is just idly standing around by himself, and if you go near he watches the player from afar. Get too close, however, and he turns into a werewolf and attacks! Can't remember if it was _exactly_ the forest of Falkreath he's in but yeah my first time playing, I thought he was an npc that just bugged out. Boy was I wrong LOL
That's also an encounter you can run into on the roads. I thought he was just a Bosmer hunter. I didn't have too much trouble killing the werewolf, but I was definitely confused and caught off guard.
@@Leo_the_gay_autistic_nerd oh it can happen more than once? I had no idea, I assumed it was just a one time event to spook the player lol
Sow we have:
Grim reaper
Human farm
Cult suicide
Necropervert
Terrible pest control
A bit reductive but yeah.
YES, more wizard skyrim
Frostflow Lighthouse is the main reason why I hate Chourus's seriously why did the vampires asked me to go there to retrieve one of their items and yes the Chourus Reaper respawns during that quest and it was much bigger in the vanilla version compared to the newer versions
Is it really smaller? I have Vanilla and that one is easily 5 times bigger than the rest. Probably bigger than bears but smaller than mammoths.
@@knotengajin7359 yeah I played the updated versions and it looked to be a cut by a bit like 2-3 times than 5
Fun fact, the reaper is actually based off another enemy from another game. The Lich from Gauntlet Dark Legacy.
Ah, pretty cool!
I didn't know the first one. I always got a bunch of soul gem shards and never knew what to do with them. I'm surprised I never googled it. But now I know, a secret boss. That is cool, thanks for sharing.
One thing i never miss is a new Welsh Wizard video
Bring on more of the twisted Skyrim encounters! An obvious choice would be the Namira quest line due to... Well you know.
Yeah, that one’s tasty 👀
Although I have journeyed into all of these creepy quests, the scariest was the creature in the soul cairn. Only met him once and never returned! lol
im in my annual remember skyrim exists and play it for a month then never again phase and i just discovered ur channel its so good :))
We are going to enjoy skyblivion and skywind so much
The Welsh Wizard at any given time: :O
You should do a video about your favorite weapon designs ranked. (Great video by the way)
Frostflow lighthouse was the first and only of these creepy locations that I visited organically and immediately got that spine-chilling moment he talked about in the intro. I still remember working my way into the basement and thinking to myself, "please don't let this be Falmer" And then I came across the first chaurus and was like "nope".
I love your vids mate.
yngvild was always the most uncomfortable place i visited, just how creepy arondil seems and the possible things he did to those he abducted
If you bring habd's remains to the top of the lighthouse your restoration powers will get a permanent buff
I'll certainly have to check these things out on my next time playing Skyrim! So cool.
The tale of frostflow lighthouse is both as tragic and terrifying to an innocent family
Great Skyrim Wizard video as ever! Always looking forward to them!
Just for that, Im going to go to all of these places in Skyrim with MalCompliance Verdict and destroy every single boss that resides in each place.
As soon as work is done and my chores of cooking dinner and taking care of the animals are completed.
Great video ! We learn new details we never payed enough attention.
You should make videos about the dwemer ruins and the lore we see in game
I stumbled upon redwater completely by accident trying to get somewhere else. I didn't even know about the vampire quests at the time
No of you heeded my clarion call. This is clearly a very powerful and dangerous wizard.
For me it's any place you find Falmer because of their bugs
Tbh Cicero creep the hell out of me when I ran into him near Whiterun haha
Love your videos.
I absolutely love this Channel
Hope you add alftand because the story of the place about a group of adventurers and their fate is terrifying
yeah
The goat Wizard returns.
Soul Cairn is one of the buggiest areas on the map. Game kept crashing, so I had to rush through it.
A good bit of advice in regards to tracking down the reaper gems, they're not too far from the locations of the keepers, always right under a floating gem. (As if this advice on a 13yo game is new.)
I'm pretty sure you can skip the reaper gem bullshit. If you place a rune on the bone pile he steps out of then detonate it with a shout, the explosion will aggro him and start the fight.
Mate, your mods looks absolutely AMAZING. Can you tell us the name? I'm really interested in 'em

@@theWelshWizardOh alright thanks 👍
Nice.
nice :)
lol take a sip every time he say's 'chilling' ;)
Of water
Creepiest encounter for me is when I don’t expect a dragon priest like when I got the red layzer sword of the flameing formilior and got one 😂
These encounters may be creepy, but its nothing a quick marked for death followed by a barrage of swings of the ebony blade cant handle
Do more like this on halloween!!!
I 1 shot the reaper with frost breath and a strong destruction potion and soul trapped him
I’ve seen the 4th encounter in this video.
Leaving a comment to help your algorithm.
I just did sneak attacks on the reaper and killed him easily
W content
The reaper from what I would see online & be described as something hard & all those fears where quickly shut down when I forgot I was a character wearing Full Ebony Armor & absolutely steam rolled him with my 104 damage Umbra
Diolch yn fawr
just a comment for the algorithm
I was looking for all the shouts ran into 3 dragons at once 🥲 I saved clipped killing 2 the other was too far
