I love how determined Cosmo is. He's an absolute prodigy, but he still has flaws as a fighter. After this fight, he's still willing to fight Long Min even though he was supposed to be in a wheelchair and then went on to beat a sparing match with Okubo and then go the distance against Ohma. Hell, even now, Cosmo lost to Saw Paing recently because of how unpredictably predictable Saw Paing was

Akoya is a murderous psychopath who always uses lethal force against anyone he deems a criminal. The girl giving him instruction is her way of making sure Akoya could win without killing anyone.
