Saw this a few days ago in theaters, and probably one of the best movies I’ve seen. I went in not expecting it to be Christian faith related, but as soon as a verse from Job popped up I was even more intrigued. This movie was written similar to a skill set of C.S. Lewis’s work. This movie exercises our imagination of fictional settings in order to bring about a more understanding of true reality. As C.S. Lewis expresses, fiction and imagination is by no means an enemy of faith but rather brings us about to be even more in touch with reality. This movie exercises our imagination to grasp more understanding of deeper truths, and this it did very effectively. I left the movie theater deeply moved. As someone that has felt a season of darkness, I related so much to this. It paints a picture of faith, obedience, and hope here in earth and eternally despite when the world caves in. Ultimately my heart was encouraged and renewed by the love that God has for us and not to throw in the towel and to fight the good fight of faith (1 Tim 6:12). Highly encourage believers and nonbelievers to watch this movie, as I believe it to be very well written and highly entertaining.

As a Christian I will never understand how an actor can kiss another actress that is not his wife on the lips, I would never support or watch a movie like that.
Neil McDonough is one of those underrated actors that really should be celebrated. He took tha 2 year Hollyweird blackball because he wouldn’t do sex scenes. To see something like this out of him is invigorating. He can play a good guy and a bad guy equally well. And hats off to Angel Studios for putting out a movie in line with the story of Job
We need films like this to open eyes. There are dark dark days ahead of us my friends but Christ alone is the light!!! Let us rejoice in knowing that no matter the turmoil to come, the Lord our God has given us the free gift of His grace!!! He has a seat for YOU at His table!

Wow, this movie did a 360. I went in here expecting a Sci-Fi movie and found out. It was a religious movie and you know what? That was actually a really good movie cyfied. I saw the movie…. the script was half polished at best, the actors were not giving their all, and the cinematography (while not totally horrible) lacked quality. Overall this film felt very lackluster. I went into it with an open mind and gave it as much credit as I could however even with no expectations I was still immensely disappointed.
As a Muslim, I’d much rather see films like this, even if they are based on Christian faith, as that resonates with me much more than m the extreme gender crap we’re bombarded with. Also, Neal is insanely talented and I’ll watch anything he is in.
