One year has passed and SEGA only added 1 song to the game, Planet of Sand was literally copy-pasted.
It was kinda added last minute it seems- they probably had no intention of even adding it until it started breaking records in how fast it was getting views.
Rhythm I think they had some intention of adding it since it's the song for Magical Mirai 2017 but I'm not too sure
clowkero too sad :/ they could've made it the promotional opening for the game, made a sand planet 3D pv, and I may have been sold into buying it ;/ this is just lazy
They still have until November to make a 3D PV if they want to commit to that, they'd just at present have nothing to show for it yet considering the song only came out weeks ago.

The reason for making this is two reasons.
One to celebrate Hatsune Miku 10 year anniversary and PS4 One year release. Two, to give the fan the desired physical copy (yes this will be release as DLC for PDFT I believe around December)
I see new photo promotion feature (might be used as advertisment from players and fans)

it depends on the producers so..
I'm pretty sure they played those songs to show off the sound track. So far, there is no word on whether or not those song will come to Future Tone.

CyberTronX280 they meant that sand planet and hibikase didn't have it's own module pv (like ghost rule does) they only put the original pv instead and were lazy about it (imo)
Considering how new the song is, even if they wanted to have a 3D PV for it ready by November they'd have nothing to show for it yet on such short notice, most people don't get hyped for an untextured rough poly WIP of a desert landscape or of Miku's costume in a trailer.

This and Missing Songs from other games same for Map/Stage for Hibikase and Sand Planet... Cmon Sega put more work into this i dont want to buy another songpack for 15 euro with only 4 songs inside make a big addon with many songs remaster old stuff put in few new songs and let us pay like 30-40 euro
btw. djmax respect will come this or next year (worldwide) you can look for that too if you like music games
I don't really care either way, since I'm not focusing on lyrics while playing the game and I used romaji in X (the only diva game I have on PS4, unfortunately) anyways. I suppose it'd be nice, but I don't think it's necessary, particularly since a lot of the vocaloid fandom already know the meaning of the songs

I honestly hate that I have to say something negative about a franchise I love so dearly. This game being the celebration of Miku's 10 anniversary is like giving her a middle finger as a birthday present. I was talking with my brother earlier today about features that they should add/bring back for Future Tone DX. We came up with several suggestions, and for the sake of SEGA, I won't add EDIT mode in this list of suggestions, because they are clearly *not* bringing it back.
Here is a list of features they should add to Future Tone DX:
- Online PuyoPuyo39 from Project Mirai DX
- Modules having some kind of boost from Project DIVA X.
- Some kind of online versus mode, where two people can play at the same time and fight for a better score.
- Giving your Vocaloid gifts and food.
- Online Mikuversi from Project Mirai DX
- Making the Vocaloids swap outfits with each other from Project Mirai DX.
- GUMI from Project Mirai DX
- A full Mikudayo suit from a lot of past Project DIVA games.
- The Hachune Miku and Super KAITO face from Project Mirai DX.
- Add more songs from Project Mirai DX and songs from Project DIVA X.
- Bring back modules from Project DIVA X and Project Mirai DX.
- Co-op photo editor, where people can make photos *together* instead of by themselves.
- Adding more Survival courses, like a course by producer (Ryo Course, Doriko Course, etc.)
- Adding songs sung by the extra characters so they have a real purpose.
- Having chatrooms, like making a room for your Vocaloid and then other people come as the Vocaloid they're currently being and PSN users can chat with each other and exchange special gifts or some shit.
- Bringing back Technical Zones and Chance Times from many other games.
- English subtitles for each song!
- Maybe some kind of Virtual Reality mode for people who have that VR thing for PS4? That would be cool, I guess.
- *A decent story to go along with the game!* Even having something like the Story of Evil would be a good idea!
- *Please, make the Random Select Song a playable song!* It's so catchy!
- And last, but not least, *having fanart as the loading screens!* A lot of the fanart is so cute!
- Then, if you really want to, EDIT mode is still there as an option...
That would probably crash the entire Playstation Server with the current thing they and other franchises have to contend with Bitcoin/Ethereum nodes sockets..

There can't be English Subs for every song in Future Tone. Not every song has been English Subbed but the rest of the ideas...I WANT A DIVA GAME LIKE THIS!!! SEGA is too lazy to make something beautiful like these ideas. SEGA needs to stop paying attention to Miku and pay attention to the others. This is Rin and Len's 10th Year too and I doubt SEGA is paying attention to them. Where's Rin and Len V4X Modules? Where's Kagamine Rin/Len: Project Diva (which was an April Fools Prank)? Where's the popular Kagamine Songs like Abstract Nonsense, Antichlorobenzene, Daughter of Evil, Servant of Evil, Regret Message, Electric Magic, Toluthin Antenna, Gigantic O.T.N, Trick and Treat, etc.? I doubt we are getting anything within 2 years for Luka's 10th Anniversary. I would be surprised if SEGA were to do something for Luka (in 2 years). They did nothing for Meiko and Kaito (except for making a RUclips video). It's Miku this, Miku that, N O O N E E L S E. If there was an edit mode, I would be happy but SEGA isn't bringing it back anytime soon. Oh Boy, Can't wait for Project Diva X2nd and Project Diva Miku Universe and Project Diva FX and Project Diva Fx2nd (X2nd=PDX Sequel, FX=PDF/F2nd+PDX, Miku= ONLY MIKU). They need to add other stuff like your suggestions and ideas. They need to add more songs for NOT MIKU and they need more modules for NOT MIKU! Poor Rin, Len, Luka, Kaito, Meiko, Haku, Neru, Sakine and Teto. Miku's just getting all the attention. If there was a story mode (or quest mode), they should put a V I L L I A N ! PDX's Story was *SO BORING!* We need a villain of some sort. I don't care if it's a Vocaloid, Utauloid or a random SEGA character, we just need a good story. PDX makes Miku look like a Mary Sue which makes me upset because Miku is my favorite Vocaloid and she deserves a better personality. Miku shouldn't always be so Happy-Go-Lucky and Sweet, If there were to ever be a story mode then Miku should act sweet and kind in front of *YOU* and act rude and rebellious when you aren't around. Well, we can only dream and hope for a *BETTER* Project Diva.

Vocalover Jessica Miku takes up around 100 songs- wtf? What's wrong with wanting characters that have a rather poor ratio of songs to have more? I know that the 'main character' is supposed to have the most spotlight, but in games like this having a bit more diversity would be great :/ There are many great songs sung by other cryptonloids and I'd love to have them here. I'm not discouraging more Miku, it's just that I'm slowly getting drained by her popularity. I want the others to be in!
Kevito exactly my point!! PDX was great but I was turned off by the fact Miku had majority of the songs (taking up two whole categories - cute and neutral with her songs + that one duet with rin, not to mention that the other categories also have a BUTTLOAD of her)

It is called "Hastune Miku: Project Diva", but I understand what you're talking about as well.
Almadea Putri Well, there are many factors for Mikus popularity and one is, that because she is EVERYWHERE many people love her and don't really care about others.
This is why she gets so much extra voicebanks, more songs and modules in Project Diva etc.
I have to admit that she was the best VOCALOID2 voice, so she has earned some popularity, but when Crypton and SEGA doesn't treat them all the same, more depending on how popular they are, this results that others don't get a real chance. There are so many good songs for the other VOCALOIDs, but they don't get added.
If there is a new *popular* Miku song, it gets added in the next game.
There is only Miku, Miku, Miku, Miku, and sometimes we can see Rin and Len, maybe even Luka, but MEIKO and KAITO? Never.
On this new VOCALOID CD shown in a previous video are - if I remember right - 7 songs for Miku alone and 1 each for Len, Rin and Luka. And Lukas was OLD. It was Double Lariat, one of the oldest Luka-Originals I know.
And I admit that without Miku, we wouldn't have a VOCALOID world like we have now, but enough is enough.
All those Miku-Bonusses are so annoying.

I know that Akita Neru and Yowane Haku and Sakine Meiko are fanloids. I know who created them and why they created them.
Kasane Teto is an UTAU, no fanloid.

When you a Kagamine fan and the don't celebrate their 10th anniversary because it's the same year as Miku and they could even add Servant and Daughter of Evil from Mirai in the dlc for their birthday. Same thing with Kaito and Meiko. Their 10th anniversary has already passed with nothing.

I dunno why, but to me it kinda seems like the support for future tone is going down? Like I understand this, it's a physical release for collectors and anyone that doesn't have the game yet, but only adding a fee songs with a few modules kinda seems weird? Like there's basically an endless amount of songs that they could use to add in these games. What they could easily do for the home version is keep making DLC packs of 4 songs and I think they were $5 each mabye? I can't remember, but even doing that would be really cool. I know that it'd also seem like a cash grab, having to keep buying DLC packs, but the players want more songs, and adding a just few songs after almost a year since US release isn't that great for a lot of people.

SolarAutumn If you only like Miku then yeah 😂 but the others literally had barely anything. But I agree it had good songs (25+ miku, 5 shared with the others..) and considering the amount of repetition gameplay wise with the voltage thing, you get sick of them so quickly

Hey Sega. Here's an idea: Why not actually look for songs that aren't that well known! Or get more unnoticed producers songs in the game so you have more content instead of having to keep revamping the same game. I could understand if it were intended to be for an international release and we didn't already have future tone and such but cmon. The answer is pretty simple.

they cant put project diva on any other platforms that are not owned by Sega, that is the sad truth. That's also why for them to put it on the 3ds they had to give it a different branding
Mirai wasn’t that good on the 3ds imo. Since the d pads aren’t symmetrical it makes button mashing harder. And it was all really easy. But I had a 3ds so at least I didn’t have to spend 400 on a console.
