      I try very hard to make very guitar that comes through the shop as good as I can!
      Plus, this guitar's owner allowed me to video the whole thing from start to finish...
      I'm guessing the settings on the ART sgx2000 did a good job playing a more modern sound.... I tried to dial in a sound fitting for Drop C Tuning.
      Thank You for letting me know you liked the video!

      Thank You !!!!! This is something I will start learning .... I like the raw sound of Drop C ... But the notes are not where I think they are . . . LOL
      I'm more of a just play and whatever happens ... happens player. A lot of feel based on playing for 30 years. I try not to think too much about it. Just let it flow.
      I never know how well these videos will go over with everyone. I'm glad you like the content of the video.
      Thanks for commenting !

      This is a custom built FR bridge from parts.
      I have a video on doing a MOD / Build of a FR bridge .. Here is the link
      ruclips.net/video/ltBycubxGss/видео.html
      I will be doing a full BUILD VIDEO on this Bridge soon. All from parts. A stock FR bridge is around 250.00 to 300.00 dollars. You can build a custom bridge with FR parts and other parts for the same money. I should have the new video up in the next few weeks.. Until then watch the first video. In that video we use the stock base plate and some other stock parts.
      I also have mod video's on the FR bridge in the Harley Benton repair video's.

    Wow thats very impressive! If you want to get a more modern sound I suggest turning the reverb off. How did you make the single coil part of the push pull noiseless?

    • @DominionFretWorks
      @DominionFretWorks  9 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah I was using reverb, delay, flanger, gate, a limiter and the BBE..
      I think I need to sweep the meds out more.
      Anyway when you go to your center position....
      You want the two split coils to act as a humbucker......
      So it is wired as if the two single coils are a humbucker in split coil mode. Think of it as you're just splitting the humbucker and half the humbucker is that the neck the other half is at bridge.

      I still need to put the cover plate on the back over the electronics and the tremolo bay....
      Then I need to clean it up... and 1 more coat of tried and true on the back of the neck.. Then she will be done.
      I can do all that tomorrow ... So call me when you can..

    Dont like the reverb you are using to harsh

    • @DominionFretWorks
      @DominionFretWorks  8 месяцев назад +2

      still working the tone out.... This was my first time working on a drop tuning tone. The delay is adding to the harsh sound. I think the timing / repeat on these were fighting one another.
      I'm still not really happy with this setting on the Amp. May take some time before landing on a good tone for recording in this tuning.
      You may be hearing the ART sound ... as some called it back in the day. its an echo ... in the delays and reverbs . . . Hard to dial this out of the ART SGX... if that's what you're hearing .. Dunno
