    Why do they use different railroad crossing equipment on the green bush line than all the other lines?

      A lot of legal mitigation on this line because it was abandoned for so long

    This line really has some beautiful views to offer. Sucks that its all quiet zoned though, hopefully SCR doesn't end up the same.

    Can you do all railroad crossings on the Framingham/Worcester line? I know there’s only 5 of them but that would be something I’d like to watch

      I was actually already planning to do so on the 29th weather permitting!

    Great catch John. I just looked up on Google Earth and there is a new e bell on Beaver Dam Road.

    Being from Bucks Co.,PA.but have relatives in the Marshfield area,I never thought I'd EVER see the Greenbush rehabbed,and the T running thru Plymouth,too!!The'38 hurricane wiped alot out,and it thought the lines would never come back.Boy,has it been needed for decades!!3 and 3A aren't too bad,congestion-wise,but 3 and 128,along with 93 and 95?!?!Forget it!!This has been needed for decades.A train ran thru Marshfield at one time,but tracks were pulled up long ago,again probably from the '38 hurricane.Went out over the North River,bridge and trestles got wiped,and line was abandoned.

      Yep it's been back since 2007, and I did visit the old location of the Marshfield station in one of my videos

      @@stormrail4540 Thanks for the reply,sir!!!I had always assumed that the '38 hurricane was the reason for the dismantling of 5he line going thru Summer St.and Pleasant St.in Marshfield Hills,coming from Damond's Point on the river,and of course,the bridge at Damond's Point,but a couple years after,in about'40-'41,the tracks were pulled up.I still think the hurricane

      @@stormrail4540 I still think the hurricane messed up the bridge over the North River probably enough to send the line into being abandoned and dismantled,especially with the war effort,and the need for metal at the time.

    Have you done the ones on the Lowell or Haverhill lines?

    • @stormrail4540
      @stormrail4540  4 года назад

      Not yet! However I am planning to the Lowell crossings on the 28th weather permitting. I will also be doing part of the Haverhill Line on the 29th weather permitting, however I am not sure when I will be finishing that one yet.

      Yeah and it's also more complicated without a steady frequent schedule of passenger trains. You'd have to mainly wait around for freight
