The greatest rock band around, there are no bands like them, they are not afraid of anything. There's rock, pop, metal, prog, jazz, fusion and anything else! :)

Angie 1/3 is great she now the front lady, F Chopper KOGA plays that funky bass like no other. And happy birthday to TOMO-ZO lead guitar. But the MV is unbelievable production.

Hypnotic ... and jaw-dropping! I've been in many jam sessions and I would dream to be part of such a stellar quality level one!

    Let the clewsterfuquery continue!
“Gotcha” is actually how to say their name. Gachagacha is Japanese (onamonapia) for the sound of clattering dishes, or the sound of coins spilling from a slot machine (they have a slant towards gambling themes, including the entire Kakuhen album, and TomoZo’s custom built soldout guitar effect only for the song Roulette). Putting their loud chaotic spin on music is their identity, including being annoying enough to name themselves inaccessibly (Japanese can’t pronounce it from the spelled name either), signed in too many various concurrent bands to care about popularity (tho this their 12th anniversary they apparently finally cracked the top 4 album list).
Glad you get Gothchar Rick Spin so far. Have you seen Juicy Beats live 2019?, when the drummer was new, Hana (blue, drums) first came out to play sax and guitar, Angie was 17 about to go back for senior year, and they did a heavy proggy version of their 10yr old rave tune? Yea ah

Been bouncing around to different reaction to various versions of this song along with the studio version and I just now realized this this by far the crispest sound of any of them…
Obviously they loved the song because gs is great but it’s a lot easier to see that when you can here every little detail.

I love this band so much, they write amazing songs and are ridiculously good live! If you want to see some more of their live insanity here's a few suggestions (not asking you to do all of them, just a fun mix of things you can take your pick from):
Hunting Summer (Live 2019): ruclips.net/video/bUO33-W04uk/видео.html Hana who is on drums and singing in the video you reacted to here is on aerophone on this one and the keyboard player is out front singing
Hunting Summer (Live 2016): ruclips.net/video/fWPyXZzeV3Y/видео.html Even by their normally energetic and whacky standards, this one goes through the roof
Hunting Summer (Live 2011): ruclips.net/video/Hqd2QgoJFDI/видео.html If you want a bit of history, here's them performing back with their original singer (RIP Armmmy). Just filmed on someone's phone of them performing in a mall to 20 people, but it's a fantastic performance and the sound quality is pretty decent for decade old phone footage.
Broken Lover (Live 2015): ruclips.net/video/yVTp3SESzpY/видео.html Energy levels reach critical levels in this one!
Ganbanba Dancers (Live 2017): ruclips.net/video/dkRXyApnteU/видео.html It turns out that latin-jazz-funk is extremely cool
There's loads more I could list, but I won't overload you! The only other thing I'll suggest is taking a look at the music video to their track "I Wish I" which they just released a week or so ago, you can find it here: ruclips.net/video/-R6Nrr_omjE/видео.html

Broken Lover live (2015) is the frenetic video that hooked me on them and led me down the Jfemetal rabbithole. Chaos at it’s cutest, crowd control, hysteric screaming, stripping on tables, actual highschool cheerleaders, fast punk funk classic rock noisy madness, love it
And you think this song doesn’t follow a format? It’s plain vanilla compared to its new-music partner “I Wish I”, check it…

The "cha" is pronounced like in "cha cha cha", so it's Ga-tsha-rick. And here's another recommendation: ruclips.net/video/08bci2ZjbTw/видео.html

@@cecilthetermite ya, they’re buddies. Hana & Koga went to school with Hideki Aoyama, Kami band drummer, and I think thru Ohmura’s annual BDay concert?, they became friends. The last 3-4 yrs, GS had actually kinda been cohost band with the Kamis at that event, with others (bands?) guesting. So they specifically asked him to donate a song for Gold Dash album, since it’s dedicated to Paralympic athletes. This link is what he turned in. Apparently it did give them trouble, hard to “feel” (rather than memorize) such non-pop syncopation…

@@timgove5337 hana was actually in a band with Hideki Aoyama pre-GS called ARMERIA (roughly '06-'08), basically a bunch of 'pretty boys' playing pop rock with hana on bass/vocals with sk8ter girl vibes: ruclips.net/video/F4AJKsdCaeM/видео.html
