  • iReal M3 new 3D scanner features 2 light sources - 7 infrared parallel laser lines and infrared VCSEL structured light. It shares the same scanning modes with iReal 2E, like feature, texture, and mixed alignment.
This video introduces the new mode from the parameters setting and scanning practice and demonstrates the new functions.

How well does IR VCSEL mode work in direct sunlight? Can you tell me what IR wavelength you are using?

Hi, It can work under direct sunlight but it should be noted that the obtained texture will be influenced by the light. The calibration cannot be made under direct sunlight.
      The wavelength is 940nm.
      Thank you for your questions.

@@ireal3d thanks for the answer. Can I check working range also? How far is the minimum and maximum distance from scanner to subject?

@@cdry9253 You're welcome! The effective scanning range is from 280 to 1000 mm, and the optimal scanning distance is 400mm. If you're interested, I'm happy to email you more info.
