our time in Dubai is coming to an end...(for now!! we'll be back). We thought we would film this video, sharing what we've loved and any tips for anyone thinking about moving here. We have loved Dubai so much and we arrived with 3,000 subscribers on the vlog channel and now we're at 44k!! We have met so many of you out here, who have said they have loved all our adventure vlogs! Its been so much fun filming 60+ videos here :)) Thanks for watching and following our journey 🤍
Thats not hot, wait until the summer hits. Estate agents in Dubai are the scum of the earth, bottom feeders, leaching of you to get the commission for the next brunch. Never trust one, they will play you against each other to get the better commission check. One thing you haven't shown are, the labour camps in JAFZA South Side or Al Quoz thats real life not the fake bling of JBR & Marina.
ALERT - Be CAREFUL with paying Rent ALL upfront. There are a lot of scams on this tactic. Some don't even own the building or may be the last renters faking a showing.
Well living in dubai is not really my fav bc it can go up to 50° It is boiling hot in the summer so only if you want hot weather dubai is the place to go + it is too expensive to live in
@@Money_Capcut yeah now I’m seeing this couple travels from one place to the next like they don’t stay in one place for a long time…so I don’t know why maybe it’s like a bucket list or something for them but they don’t really know the culture of the Middle East or the dress code but they weren’t staying there forever so I guess it’s alright but what’s with the country hopping though?!?
@@Money_Capcut. We’ve lived here for years….it’s expensive unless you work here. About paying up front….that’s what you have to do here. People generally obey the law, the penalties for not doing so is high. That’s why there is near zero crime. We could leave our Mercedes running at the curb, run in to buy something, nobody touched it.
Really enjoyed your dubai series. Feel like you covered everything for the normal and more well off person living there/ going on holiday including the basics such as phone contracts places to get your haircut apartments etc which a lot of people forget
Probably one of the best vlogs on places around the world, especially the Dubai chapters. I feel Matt and Summer choose interesting places, themes and have an authentic, uncomplicated way of showing you around places, stuff, things to do etc. I loved the Yachts part of this video...I have been following their recommendations on places to stay...all interesting to know. Kudos to Matt and Summers...Fab job, guys!
Thanks for the video. I've lived in Abu Dhabi for 6 months 2 years ago and will move back to Abu Dhabi or Dubai early next year. Can't wait! And i did new hikes and saw new nature almost every other weekend! In my country Netherlands we font have any mountains or any rough nature like in UAE. You can never get stuck or be lost because of how densely populated it is here + the not rough nature. So for me UAE is amazing! 😍 enjoy your new adventure!
Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful experience in Dubai, Matt and Summer. Such great videos! I wish you the best of luck and have nice trip to Australia! Can't wait to watch new adventures.
I'll miss this Dubai vlogs, that was way too fast, i remember watching guys leaving Marbella and i was like ''wow 6 moths is a long time'' and IT IS ALREADY OVER??? LIKE??? NO PLEASE
Thanks for sharing your experiences ❤️. I love how down to earth you both are. Dubai looks alright but yess Australia.. nature all the way! Looking forward to watching your videos on Australia ❤️
I enjoyed watching this video 😍 love your energy! I’m a Brit ⛈ lol so everything you said about living and socialising in the UK felt so relatable 😅 I’ve just got my investor visa after setting up my company in Dubai, you actually need to visit and stamp your passport every 6 months so twice a year in order to keep the investor visa valid. Wishing you all the best on your next adventure!
Love all of your videos! You guys have such a great and positive energy! I love Dubai too! Can't wait to visit Dubai again. Tomorrow I'll be going to Europe for the first time! Looking foward to visiting some places in Germany, Switzerland and Netherlands. I hope it doesn't rain LOL Greetings from Brazil!
Thanks very much you two! I have loved watching your Dubai adventures. Can’t wait to see your new Australian life also! I’ve never been to Australia as wasn’t sure I could hack the long flight from London, but maybe breaking it up via Dubai is an option as must be many hours shorter
If u guys love nature consider the famous Coogee to Bondi coastal walk and visit Australia's most famous Bondi beach :) 1hr drive south of the city in the Royal National Park there is a hiking track out to Eagle Rock with amazing cliff top views of the sea (great for Instagram pics sitting on the Eagle's beak). 2 hrs drive west of the city is the World Heritage Blue Mountains, consider stay in a hotel there for a few nights (most famous town there is Katoomba), visit the 3 sisters and spend a day at Scenic World or do some hiking. Further drive west of the Blue Mountains is the famous Jenolan Caves!
Great Dubai vids guys. I agree with you, JBR has become so busy - could not even get into Azure Beach as reached capacity. I visited mid April for 13 days, ended up coming back to the UK after 5 days - was not feeling it. Will go back in August hopefully, yes boiling hot but not busy - best time for me is August from past 2 visits during that time - and much cheaper too. Only downside is there is more harmless jellyfish in the sea at that time.
Hay mate, I’m living in Dubai Come in jan, feb, sep, weather is amazing in these months. But if you like hot weather come in August. But now is extremely hot and humid. Just to help you
Hi do you have a video of what your customers do for a living? You mentioned that you were hoping to release a video on this on a UK home tour.Looking forward to it.
Honestly speaking, you guys are my role model! You are absolutely amazing! Your aim in life, and enjoying what you do, is simply sensational! I would also like to add that the way you have shared your experiences in Dubai with all of us is beautiful, it is like being there, sharing the happiness and joy! I would like to wish you guys all the very best in your future endeavours! Thank you very much for bringing a change in our lives!
I wonder how come you guys are not atleasttt 10 Million Subscriber base. The quality content with best information and experience i have ever watched. Especially, Dubai Episodes. HEAVENLY🤩
I can’t believe your leaving Dubai. It’s so beautiful and tax free. I thought you would stay there and get your dream yacht. I’m sorry I missed a couple of your vlogs. Where are you going next? Because you spoke of Australia or you coming back to cold rain 🌧 uk 🇬🇧. I’d stay there over uk.
Thanks for all the info! I just got my investor visa too and mine says that I need to get my passport stamped every 6 months, not every 12 months like you mentioned. Are there different kinds of investor visas?
Never change guy, never lose you values, i love that you are aware of how blessed you are and that you are grateful of the life you have. Good things will always come your way if your hearts are in that posture 💜 Thank you for sharing and transparency, you GIVE golden advice/tips that im sure lots of people will find useful that most people dont tend to share. All the best in Aussie
Dubai reminds me of the Truman Show! I lived there 11 years...sooooo boring in the end. Nothing beats the nature, history and diversity of Europe. And its authenticity! Great experience but so Dubaied out now ^^
@@vacancierpermanent1238 nope great life and jobs out there. Just chose to leave to come back to my roots in London. Dubai is an expat country and everyone leaves at some point
Your whole journey was pretty good in Dubai.Would you like to share with us that place in Dubai which you find most attractive... Wish you all the best both of you...
I just looked up the weather in Dubai - Max=42C, Min=34C. I knew Dubai was hot but I didn't realise it was that hot. How can you sleep when it's 34C?! Must be expensive to always have AC on to keep the temp at a survivable level lol.
It's not minimum 34 all year round. In winter it can drop to 20. And yes summer is warm and turning on AC is fine. My AC bill was included in rent as long as I didn't go over the max. And I never did. It's pretty livable. A lot more than my own country Netherlands in summer where you won't even find AC in a lot of offices and often not in hotels and basically never in houses. So you just never would want slightly warm weather since nothing is build for it😂
Hey Guys! So disheartening to see the two of you leave soon :( I'm the same guy you met during the Kcal vlog! 😂 I was ironically giving my interview for Careem (which was mentioned multiple times in this video) and guess what!? I got the job 🥳 Sr. Account Manager at Careem 🙌 perhaps you two brought me luck 🍀Hoping both of you will frequent Dubai since you've set up a business here. Eager to catch up again & good luck for everything that lies ahead! 🎉
Just found your channel and I’m binge watching all of your videos hahaha! You guys are so inspiring and the vlogs are very helpful! Congratulations on all your successes ❤
I and my wife have been there seven months ago. Really, it was a good experience for the first time visiting Dubai , and enjoying the nice weather in winter. Most of our time had been at Marina and JBR areas. Very distinguished city. Lots of beautiful places to visit and enjoy. Perfect choice for vacation during most periods of the year. I like both Dubai and your video as well.
What’s a good wage to earn after accommodation costs to live comfortably in Dubai, and enjoy the outdoor sports and social life without counting the pennies too much

glad you showed the adventure side of Dubai, rather than what it's more popularly known for.

The sexism?

I am a resident and I am so bored. There is nothing to do here but to eat outside or go to the mall. You should live here max 3 years
That’s same with every city they all get boring. Dubai is just focused more for attraction and tourism
