Rain, sleet, hail anything but snow in this battle. Luckily I had my Bumfuccs Shades to keep me cool and comfortable out in the mercurial city streets.
Starting out the snow was incredibly slow because of the rain. I wanted to gap the rail but couldn't get the speed. So as the idiot that I am, I cut a small tree down in order to board slide through this already famous down flat down. However, people were watching, and it was a brisk moment before the police arrived and escorted me off the property.
I came back about an hour later, (as they told me I should) and I started again at the spot. It was raining and sleeting harder by then but I knew nobody would bother me after school hours, so I was determined to get it before I left.
I thought doing a board slide over the knob would be cool because it wasn't doable before when the tree was blocking it. The knob being there added a bit of sketchiness, and I didn't set up a lip. After a few attempts, I realized I needed to be quick-footed to get over the knob and the kink. Then, the hail came down harder, making everything worse.
Having to continuously clean my camera lens, and making sure nothing was fogging up, it took about an hour to get through the rail. This spot was super fun despite the weather, and has so much potential now that the tree is gone. I want to say sorry to the New forrest service🤝
