It was then that I realized it was impossible to stand with the Democrat party as a TRULY born-again believer in JESUS CHRIST! Today’s Republican Party was formed when LBJ supported the Civil Rights Act. Southern Democrats then lost office or changed to Republican in opposition to Civil Rights. I'm independent, however, I do vote republican based on biblical truth that I read in the Bible. And despite what anyone says, I am a Black man (as one democrat said, 'If you don't vote for me, you are not Black!'). SMH. I believe reading Romans chapter 1 can answer all questions about who to vote for. Any candidate will have flaws (we got this from our forefather Adam everyone), so I don't expect a lot from either one, so I vote based on which candidate tips the scale in favor of what I read in the scriptures.

Thank you, brother. For nearly 17 years I have taken the independent position on politics. There is no candidate nor party that comes close to representing the Kingdom of God. Doesn’t mean I won’t vote. But I have the right to either vote for one of the 2 candidates on the ballot, or write in a name of someone who’s values and policies I’m more in line with even though they aren’t on the ballot. Or just simply leave that spot blank. My conscience is clear about that. I agree with you wholeheartedly and what I did was made a list of things that each party endorses and line those things up with or against the Word of God and for me it’s an easy decision. While neither party is a Christian organization, the Republican Party aligns more with my Christian values and my biblical world view.

My view is that it is inconsistent with Christ's teachings to refuse healthcare to people in need. Many conservative states have been slow, or flatly refuse, to expand Medicaid. Jesus taught that we should love our neighbors as ourselves. He cared for and healed sick people who had been marginalized for various reasons. He worked miracles to feed people who were hungry. The Good Samaritan is known that way because he made sure to take care of an ailing stranger. Jesus was compassionate. Politicians should be too.

I first heard years ago about Brad Pitt's mom indicating Christians should not vote Democrat. I was a Republican at the time. Once Donald Trump threw his hat into the ring however, I became an Independent conservative immediately. For most of the last several presidential elections, I've simply written in "Jesus Christ." As far as Kamala Harris is concerned, while she's far more charismatic and much more well-spoken than Trump, she is the epitome of misleading evil - 2 Cor 11:14 - (which will ultimately take this country down a path of utter and inevitable destruction), as prophesied in the Word of God. I believe we have reached the time where people who've been greatly blessed neither know nor profess God any longer (Exodus 1:8). Few among us still defer to God, but rather do what's right in our own eyes (Judges 21:25). Don't give up, brother. ☝🏾

Who is better? I do appreciate the conversation as it draws out a lot of issues concerning bias views. While the title gives away the premise of the video and immediately starts pointing out the obvious, it seems minds are already made up as to which direction to lean. There seems to be a lot of grace and mercy for the person that embodies the very characteristics that we are told not to be (we all know the rap sheet). I'm independent, however, I do vote republican based on biblical truth that I read in the Bible. And despite what anyone says, I am a Black man (as one democrat said, 'If you don't vote for me, you are not Black!'). SMH. I believe reading Romans chapter 1 can answer all questions about who to vote for. Any candidate will have flaws (we got this from our forefather Adam everyone), so I don't expect a lot from either one, so I vote based on which candidate tips the scale in favor of what I read in the scriptures.
Democrats supported the Civil Rights Act, Republicans opposed it. That’s your party. And that’s why people say “you’re not black.” God created all humans in God’s image, including black people. Republicans have a history of denying this truth in their anti Civil Rights stance.

Thank you, brother. For nearly 17 years I have taken the independent position on politics. There is no candidate nor party that comes close to representing the Kingdom of God. Doesn’t mean I won’t vote. But I have the right to either vote for one of the 2 candidates on the ballot, or write in a name of someone who’s values and policies I’m more in line with even though they aren’t on the ballot. Or just simply leave that spot blank. My conscience is clear about that. I agree with you wholeheartedly and what I did was made a list of things that each party endorses and line those things up with or against the Word of God and for me it’s an easy decision. While neither party is a Christian organization, the Republican Party aligns more with my Christian values and my biblical world view.

Fun fact- there actually are some denominations that say “2” instead of 2nd for books that have more than one. I discovered that on RUclips.
That is right, you can be an independent and still vote based of the person’s past and present actions, their policies, and how they voted (for law proposals)…. because ultimately, it does affect our lives, our family, and our pockets.

Before I answer the prevailing question, I’d like to toss a couple of questions in the ring myself. #1 Is Satan pro-life or pro-choice? #2 How Does Satan feel about the most powerful nation on the planet redefining God’s law on marriage? #3 Does Satan have a hand in the pushing of transgenderism. 👍🏾
Answer #1 Satan doesn’t care either way, judging by the declining numbers of church attendees he’s still bulking up his numbers
Answer #2 Satan is fairly satisfied when most Christian marriages end in divorce and are preceded by cohabitation
Answer #3 Satan is pleased that people are being programmed to hate people who may be struggling and fighting with sin instead of hating the sin

#2 Satan loves to pervert whatever God makes good, so when Obama and Biden lit up the White House in celebration of gay marriage, Satan celebrated also.
#3 And again, going back to John 8:44, Jesus lets us know that Satan is the father of lies. God says male, Satan says female and demands people go along with the lie. The only hate involved is Satan hating God’s creation, trying desperately to take people down with him.

#2) Anything good (like marriage between a man and a woman) Satan wants to twist and distort. So, that serpent was celebrating (lit up White House and all) along with Obama and Biden when the “law” was passed.
Immediately after gay marriage became legal, Satan went to work on the transgender issue. Again, John 8:44 clearly explains about his fatherhood. So, calling someone something that they are not is of Satan. And he is the only hateful one in the equation.

My view is that it is inconsistent with Christ's teachings to refuse healthcare to people in need. Many conservative states have been slow, or flatly refuse, to expand Medicaid. Jesus taught that we should love our neighbors as ourselves. He cared for and healed sick people who had been marginalized for various reasons. He worked miracles to feed people who were hungry. The Good Samaritan is known that way because he made sure to take care of an ailing stranger. Jesus was compassionate. Politicians should be too.
I don't see any reason to vote for this democrat party. The Republicans are not much better now.
And the resounding answer is YES. Considering the choices we have in the election, it will be wise to vote democratic vs republican. Just my thoughts.

Brother Corey. Congratulations on a great commentary. You are the first one ever to have echoed the fullness of all of my sentiments on this topic. I first heard years ago about Brad Pitt's mom indicating Christians should not vote Democrat. I was a Republican at the time. Once Donald Trump threw his hat into the ring however, I became an Independent conservative immediately. For most of the last several presidential elections, I've simply written in "Jesus Christ." As far as Kamala Harris is concerned, while she's far more charismatic and much more well-spoken than Trump, she is the epitome of misleading evil - 2 Cor 11:14 - (which will ultimately take this country down a path of utter and inevitable destruction), as prophesied in the Word of God. I believe we have reached the time where people who've been greatly blessed neither know nor profess God any longer (Exodus 1:8). Few among us still defer to God, but rather do what's right in our own eyes (Judges 21:25). Don't give up, brother. ☝🏾
2 Cor is sooooo out of context. I didn’t bother to look at the others. Even Mary and Joseph had to travel to pay taxes as it was the law of the land they were subjected to. It has nothing to do with baby Jesus, the Holy Ghost, the tabernacle, the Sanhedrin etc.

II Cor talks about Satan being "an angel of light," meant to deceive the masses (such as Kamala Harris could very well accomplish because more and more people view her as "an angel of light"). BTW, you should DEF look up the other two scriptures and not pre-judge. 2. Getting out to vote without comparing the candidates with the Word of God is begging to be misled. Read all the scriptural references before you pursue a prejudicial path to destruction. BTW, also read Hosea 4:6. I would never steer you wrong.

Who is better? A person who lies to us and presents that they are Christian by offering a few points that look like a Christian platform - i.e. I don't support abortion, but I will pay for one for my girlfriend. Another party tells the truth about their sin.... they are ignorantly sinful and telling you how they will vote against Biblical truths. I do not understand how anyone can say they are dogmatic about either party. In my opinion, I would rather be around people who tell me the truth about their own beliefs, even if I disagree and know they are ungodly. I know what to pray for and how to witness to them. I do appreciate the conversation as it draws out a lot of issues concerning bias views. While the title gives away the premise of the video and immediately starts pointing out the obvious, it seems minds are already made up as to which direction to lean. There seems to be a lot of grace and mercy for the person that embodies the very characteristics that we are told not to be (we all know the rap sheet). On the other hand there is no grace for the person that does not portray these same characteristics. I agree that neither party represents Christ. In Christ, we have been given the gift of free will...in other words to choose. Abortion has been given a bad name by people who can never have it and don't understand the medical necessity in instances that could claim the life of the person going through the emergency. If it's sin we all are concerned about, why aren't us men in the hot seat for premaritals or immorality? It takes two people to get to the point of pregnancy, right? Jesus would say in this situation, he who has not sinned should throw the first stone. Jesus had compassion for those that were overlooked and rejected by society. The same religious society that demanded his life. In this debacle I see similarities to the crowd shouting "Free Barabas, give us Barabas!" and also to the Israelites wanting a King. The problem is that for those of us forgetting that we too are sinners saved by grace forget that the same grace abounds more than the sin. This Democrat or Republican ideology is self seeking.We can and should support and fight policies but in neither party should we find our identity. Both lie, abuse and use. Vote for the policies and not the party or politicians.
