Hard pass for Mel Gibson, who used to be my favourite actor, and Wahlberg, who just irritates me. But so glad u guys enjoyed this and enjoyed this review 🥳
8:00 buahaha You're right, that does NOT look like a balding head, that looks like a man with a full head of hair who just shaved it down the middle. What on Earth was production thinking??
“ that’s Mark Wahlberg’s version of going method” Nick you read that man down lol. But you’re not wrong. I also distinctly remember watching Fear as a teenager and fighting the desire to root for villain mark because he was so attractive. Definitely will not have that problem this time around
I was really surprised to see Michelle Dockery in a film like this! I always think of her as the lead in Downton Abbey, to the point that her playing a Sandra Bullock role is kind of distracting 😂
YAS!! omg we got spoiled with 2 reviews today?! thank you , thank you 🙏 so very kind of you both 🤌🔥 wanted this review 🤓 bcuz i'm not gonna watch it hahaha
I burst out laughing the first time I walked into the theater, hearing a edgy sad girl version of Psycho Killer playing, and saw Mark Wahlberg with that grotesque getup.
I just assumed that Mark Wahlberg was losing his hair anyway and said “WTH let’s do it”because his hair looked very wiggish in The Other Guys! Take a look and tell me I’m lying 😂
This weekend on the podcast you guys should do an AI of Blake Lively in an Annie wig with the same brown skin as last time and then react to the MTV interview of Blake Lively where she talks about doing this sus thing in her youth. 🤣🤣
This movie better be good after Trump appointed Mel Gibson as "ambassador" to Hollywood. I'm pretty sure that job title doesn't actually do anything, but still.
Wouldn't have checked, nor guessed it. But, I marvel at the similarity of a characterization here of the villain of that of Mr Gibson played in Expandables, uhm, 3,😕and over the top...Had me🙄every time his character *Stonebanks 😅was uhm, ranting😀
The biggest surprise with this movie was the jokes within it. They weren’t overly cheesy, but I was surprised how many jokes they had while still carrying the somewhat drama/thriller tone of the movie. it’s unfortunate. It’s getting the hate because of the director sort of like the movie better man with the whole Robbie Williams hate.
I was going to pass due to my intense dislike of the director, what I will say is, they definitely should have contacted the make up artist that turned the beautiful Colin Farrell into the diabolical Penguin. Mark's hair/hairline is unforgivable 😅
Seeing The Presence tonight I may or may not see this tomorrow. But I'm definitely seeing Hard Truths and Inheritance tomorrow. Just have to decide between seeing Sing Sing alone or this in a packed theater.
@@day1filmfan I appreciate your take on it. I think I sat too close to the screen and subconsciously hated all the close-up face shots, and that made me biased.
I went to the theatre not expecting much. The plot was simple'ish but the runtime is 90 mins. Mel Gibson is a solid director so I took a chance. Never got bored. I'd rather see a 90 min tight action low budget Mel Gibson movie than a 180 min pretentious one by Nolan. (except the batman ones). Braveheart and Apocalypto where immense. Someone said he directed this to get back in the game before bigger things. Sounds about right.
The background images you two choose are diabolical 😂

Joseph’s look to camera on “caliban” 😂😂😂

I was also attracted to the horrible bad boyfriend, should have realized it was a sign, but what can ya do??😂
It’s January and we already have a nominee for 2025’s
Worst wig…
You know it! 😅
I was not expecting you guys to like this. It's been almost 30 years since Wahlberg played a villain in Fear, and that haircut is crazy 😂
7:28 when Joseph starts talking about hair - it gets me every time
😂😂😂😂
The hair had me dying 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Is the tagline for this movie really "Ya'll need a pilot?"
Yeah it's the best line in the film
Yes and it's up there with "Get off my plane!" From Air Force One
@@starbrite526 you mean 'Enough is enough, I have had it with these mother fing snakes on this motherfcking plane!"
@@starbrite526 you mean it's up there with the 'Snakes on the plane ' quote
@e3vL1 You right, you right.
Why am I humming "Jesus Christ, Torture Porn" to the tune of "Jesus Christ, Superstar" right now
🤣
Well I'll be damned! Y'all like this! 😂
this looks fun ... loving the costanza looks for walhberg
This movie is made for the theaters. Go see it.
@@deshon3523 doesn't come out for a while in Mexico but will see it when it does
Is this what Wahlberg’s character David from Fear would have done if he grew up?
When I learned that Mark shaved his head actually for this role... dedication lmao
Coming to set and just saying "shave my head" is so funny

Can’t wait for the hair review!
Now this is the type of movie you got to watch on a plane.
I am looking to see this movie, but I like to see your reviews first. I don't know, but this review u did made me laugh. Thanks I needed that.
I burst out laughing the first time I walked into the theater, hearing a edgy sad girl version of Psycho Killer playing, and saw Mark Wahlberg with that grotesque getup.
I tuned in just to hear your feelings on Mark Wahlbergs crazy ass hair, lol
I just assumed that Mark Wahlberg was losing his hair anyway and said “WTH let’s do it”because his hair looked very wiggish in The Other Guys! Take a look and tell me I’m lying 😂
“Charlie, you ever play roulette? Let me give you a bit of advice - always bet on bald.”
The final scene reminded me of the ending of that Halle Berry movie “The Call”
❤ Michelle in Good Behavior.
First and Second season were good. 3rd was messy but still entertaining.
Love this review 😃

Great another fun weekend movie! Thanks for the review
“Primordial goon” is a fantastic and accurate description of Mark Wahlberg’s character. And he looked so awful being the goon.
Watching this in real time at the 6pm showing of Flight Risk😂😂
Given some wisdom about getting out of restraints from someone that has had restraint issues had to dislocate his thumbs to get out of said restraints
Midnight Run + Turbulence = Flight Risk.
The marshal was an uncanny cross between Rose Byrne and Gretchen Whitmer. It was distracting me.
I don't know if I can do it. I can't stand Mel Gibson! I do love a good B flick and the thought of that hair on Mark Wahlburg!
I love this channel

Mark was so creepy, that's what kept me on edge. I give the movie a 8 out of 10.

I was going to watch the movie until you said that it was directed by Mel Gibson.
Facts!
Mel Gibson is goated as a director
@@reabec10Yet he's trash as a person.
& stars horrible Mark Wahlberg. Bride of a feather 🪶
I love him. Will watch this!
Oof I thought this movie was terrible. That woman’s acting took me all the way out. Thanks for the review
I didn't think her acting was terrible. It fit the character she was playing. Reminded me somewhat of Scully from x files.
I think the only method acting marky mark can do is a boston a hole
I heard someone on RUclips say about this "Topher Grace just looks happy to be in a movie" 😭😆😆😆
"Jesus Christ Torture Porn"

@elliotkatz6940 it's fine. Some bad cg and could have been more thrilling but it's solid.

The homies. Like watching y'all videos. From Detroit

Oh no.
6:50 omg i love new order's blue monday, what a fabulous song. I'm terrified of flying so this movie is a hell no from me lol 😂

Great t shirts today, The Velvet Rope & Anjelica Huston 🔥🔥
I love Mel Gibson, will give it a watch…
Mel’s biggest fan here, but this was disappointing for me. The phone acting and scripting was jarring. A C from me.
