I jusy got this phone with boost mobile for $160. This is the first foldable that I try because I am hesitant about paying way too much for something that seems so fragile. The problem with these Motorola phones that I have always had is that they only offered two years of android upgrades. I usually keep a phone for about five years and I can’t or won’t pay upwards of $600 for something that’s only gonna get two years but I’ve had the phone in my hands. It feels great. The software looks awesome it booted up to android 14. Motorola has a nice launcher and the hinge and the field of the phone is great but no matter how hard I try I can’t get over the two year android thing not when Samsung has promised at least seven even though I don’t think I’ll get there. It’s nice to go at least over three years so it’s a good phone but I’ll probably pass it off to somebody else. It was $160 experiment that really did help in trusting foldable flip phones a little bit better.
Idk why people are complaining about this phone ive had the second razor from a few years ago had the z flip 3 an 4 an the hinge is way better than those phone i went through 7 z flip 4s an 4 z flip 3s they all had loose an flappy hinges an were just straight up garbage then i got an s23 ultra an went through 4 of those so bottom line is all phones are junk an issues but ive found this one to be better built than the samsungs an as for the processor does it really matter? Short answer no an i honestly think the people that are having issues with these phones are probably the ones shoving there fingers through the screen then blaming the manufacturer
The screen breaking wasn't a issue for me it's the price for a weak underpowered overpriced phone. Meanwhile the one plus 12r is the same price with 16gb of ram and charges in 26 minutes with a 100 watt charger in box. Some people simply know when something isn't worth the asking price
Wow! TJS_powersports It sounds like you go through phones like professional tennis players go through tennis shoes!! How did you go through 4 s23 Ultras? I assume they sent you replacements thanks to insurance. Anyway, I'm here because I will be using the Motorola Razr 5G (2023) 128GB on AT&T because I had to replace a lost Motorola Edge 2022 on one of my personal lines. They didn't have the Edge. I have to pay a 100 dollars deductible on a future bill. But I am looking forward to this phone.
i got this phone and had to replace it 2 times my speeker phone when on sounds bad when im talking to someone they tell me im cutting out on speeker phone they all seem to cut out to callers when on speeker phone and also how come you cant play media when the phone is closed dont make sence
From what I've seen of other unboxings and such, if it doesn't come with a charger then that's probably a cricket issue as getting it from Motorola directly includes the charger.
Cricket has the razr 2023 for $99.99 for new customers and existing who add a new line. $125 total with tax and acc credit towards bill. I was paying 101 for two lines. Now it will be 120 something I forget exactly atm but it's worth it to have 3 rather than 2. But I decided to get the razr since I had one of the OG' Razrs. I just needed it. Lol I can't justify any of the prices for new phones with how easy it is to destroy them. Shut I can still buy a used car for $ 1800 and my phone if I want a new Galaxy with NO removable storage grrr I'm gonna pay almost 2k. I'm a seriously anti cloud person so this has been a huge problem for me with phones. I want my files in my possession not floating around an imaginary storage space open to hackers. But I digress its just ny reasoning to stop paying outrageous costs for cellphones. PS. I'm still rocking the S10 4.1 android 12, just because of my storage. FYI theres many legit apps that can help remedy problems like camera performances and system care. After all it's still an android. Get desperate enough just root it.

The idea is great, however the phone degrades rapidly. Initially the phone connection was terrible. At first I thought it was a problem with my service provider verizon but switching the sim card back to my old device I discovered that the phone itself was to blame. At 1 month the crease where the phone folds created a white line in the middle of the screen. The "vegan leather" began to peel off. At 2 months the screen would randomly show only gray scale- no color. at 3 months the phone screen went entirely black- resetting the device did not correct it. At this point the phone was completely unusable. I contacted motorola for a refund and was told the window for a refund is only within 14 days of purchase. They advised me to send them the phone for repair and attempt to sell it myself on ebay... DO NOT BUY!

Couple years of updates and security patches I believe. Either way you're better off getting the moto edge 2024 instead of this
