    I spent many hours at that spot in Gulf Summit watching Erie-Lackawanna trains with the pushers they had to run.

    I haven’t been to Gulf Summit since 2005. Has it changed much?

      Well it has been single tracked for a while, signal were out a couple of years back as well basically a long spur from Binghampton to Port Jervis

      The Susquehanna & Western runs two trains a week through. Otherwise it's pretty quiet.

      Single tracked in 2006 and four to six trains a week with NS SD70M-2s that NYSW purchased with maybe one or two daylight a year over the whole line. Over the Summit maybe 5 in full daylight a year eastbound only.
