Those are some great stash adds and the truck is coming out great..I have a scaled sniper gun that would fit nice in that drawer if you're interested inbox me.
@@BGsModelWorkshop Now you're going to be addicted to dirty. All the rest of your builds will be like this only getting more decrepit as you go on. 😁 Actually it's good practice for your tank builds.
Two great stash additions Bryan! My sister in-law had a burgundy Chevy 4X4 Sportside and I really liked that truck. Dylan is another amazing car modeler. The Jimmy's progress is looking fantastic. I'm so glad that you decided to use your "Weathering Magic" on it. I have an idea for a name for it. In honor of all the Moon Shine runners from the "old days" and because you made that "hidden compartment" and are going with the weathered look, I was thinking that you should name it the "Tequila Taxi". It's used for crossing the border into Mexico and smuggling tequila & mezcal back into Arizona to be served at the Model Car Mafia meetings.🥃🤣The Jimmy being old and crusty, the Border Patrol/U.S. Customs would never think of stopping it for an inspection. Maybe someone could 3-D print some bottles/jars of Tequila/Mezcal to put in the secret compartment. Take care Bryan. Tom S.
Hi Tom! LOL, Tequila Taxi is a fun idea! Last year I did the USACC roadrunner kit as a ridge runner. that was a fun project! I ay hold on to that idea for a future build! =)
I'm glad you got the card, Bryan! Awesome stash ads!! The 115 is a very cool kit. I recently just picked that one up as well, completely different art box. And Jimmy, omg 👌 love my Slammers!!
I am with you on the 89 stepside- a 1:1 was my first truck, highly customized in 90s fashion, 5/7 drop, cowl hood, billet wheels, wild paint, etc. and I built this model back in the day to replicate it. I would display it on the dash at shows such as Street Machine Nationals in DuQuoin, IL. Still have the model in a glass case - sadly no longer have the real truck (but do have a newer Chevy truck and a Tahoe :)
Howdy! Yeah, mine was a 1989 Cheyenne and I loved that truck. I added a Corvette style hood, dropped it 2in front and 4 in the rear and had a flowmaster exhaust system and American racing torque thrust wheels. the best part was it had the 5 speed manual transmission with the 5.7ltr engine. The truck was special ordered. i will never see one like it again and miss dearly. So i hope to build this kit to resemble mine too! glad you still have the model to display!
The body really looks cool, I like what you did with it. And yes Vector wheels make everything cooler. But painting the machined face is really a challenge.
Hi Kurt! Dude, I seriously want Vector wheels for my Subaru outback lol! Yeah, I may just cheat a little bit and try a steady hand and a chrome Gundam marker.
Yay "Vector"! Does that mean I helped a tiny, tiny, bit? The weathered body and the fabbed chassis look amazing in very different ways. There is a name for that type of fabrication whose name escapes me.
Awesome scores, Bryan, I love both and have had em both at one time or other (I still have tge truck kit in stash). Jimmy is looking awesome, brother!! ✌️😁
Nice kits there BG! I had that Torino not too long ago, but I sold it. The Jimmy is coming along really nicely there too. Can’t wait to see it all done with those wheels and the stance. 😎👍🏾 🍪
Diamond plate is looking good with TS-30 and the HO scaled version. Definitely a lot of firsts in this build and I see many techniques from past builds on this one. Overall it’s looking very nice, BG.
Cool build so far, I like the inline six idea. Switch it up and put a 300 Ford six in it! That Torino is kind of a holy grail kit for me. Maybe someday. Perhaps JR Salvinos can produce a modern kit of the Torino…….Thanks, BG
Howdy! thank you! LOL, don't tempt me on the ford 300, it has crossed my mind! LOL. If Salvino JR did the old Torino stock cars, that would be epic!! =)

A very kind offer my friend. I think I will stick with these for now. But thank you so much!!

Hi Vinny! Excatly!! LOL, i knew you would get it!
Everything is coming along great BG
Thanks my friend!! fingers crossed we can finish the build!
Yay "Vector"! Does that mean I helped a tiny, tiny, bit? The weathered body and the fabbed chassis look amazing in very different ways. There is a name for that type of fabrication whose name escapes me.
Hi Jason! You sure did buddy! I think we all couldn't recall that Vector name! Thanks for the Facebook note too. I will read it on our next recording!
I vote for the inline! Love them in models
Sweet! I am still fitting the engine. It is slow going.
Looks great !!! I hope you can straighten the roof.
Thank you Edgar! I'll give it my best try!

Awesome update, that Jimmy is looking great! I kind of like the idea of a 6, it would definitely be an interesting twist.
Hi Spencer! Exactly!!! And thank you!!

Hi Brandon! Thank you little brother! I'm still trying to refine my weathering so I can dial it in for each build and not be too over the top.
Cool build so far, I like the inline six idea. Switch it up and put a 300 Ford six in it! That Torino is kind of a holy grail kit for me. Maybe someday. Perhaps JR Salvinos can produce a modern kit of the Torino…….Thanks, BG

Turbo diesel in-line 6 w/ the exhaust poking thru the hood!
ooo, interesting idea! =)
Love the build, always thinking outside the box, this the motor swap to something different. 👍 Hope to see it in person at the last NNL WEST.
My very first car was a 1972 Torino and I always wanted to build a street car out of that kit, but there just isn't enough interior parts to do it.
Hi Tim, I feel that's exactly why my friend wanted to trade it too me. 😁
Love the weathering on the Jimmy, I am going to try that! How about an LS, or turbo an inline 6?
Howdy!! A turbo inline six might just what for the doctor ordered! 😁 Thanks for the idea!
I love those pickups! Takes me back to when I read Sport Truck Magazine and built dozens of Sportsides and 454SS's.
How can I send you a shop card?
Awesome!! I love that generation of pickup!!
