About 2 minutes in,and question is answered. You said of Trangia, can't tip it,as it has fuel in it.Lidless lixada has to bring own fuel container.Trangia,+1. Then got dropped but no fuel came out because of top.Drop lixada, all gone.Trangia+2.How about if we demand Trangia lidded style burners in titanium?Sounds win, win. Just a thought.

Very difficult to make a screw threaded fitting out of titanium. There are aluminium ones with lids if you want lighter than a Trangia. Not sure what they’re like though

How long does it take to bloom? Does it have any wicking inside? What's the boil time on one or two cups of water?

I agree with the norseman, the only thing to make it even better would be if it came with a lid.
When you have that, any time is coffee time lol

What on earth did you do.
The stoves ok I have a few lixada products which got me to your video in the first place.
But for the love of the farmers please work on your coffee game as that's criminal.
If you can't make coffee get instant, or go check out some Aeropress videos for hints and tips.

Lixada vs Trangia was game over when you borrowed a part from the Trangia to make the Lixada work. You also quenched my interest in that kettle which I’ve been curious about for sometime now. It pours terribly. I very much appreciate your giving us a look!

I like that mate I've been looking at those kettles too but seems like it spills a lot with that minimal spout so not so sure now

Good little stove it seems like. No lid? Pour the spirit back in the bottle after or just estimate how much you need?

No lid, i just poured it back in the bottle.

With two rows of holes I’d imagine that getting the fuel back in the bottle could be a bit messy.

    Great review.
I just find brass is a better material for acohol stoves and vaporizes better IMHO
And of course the titanium and stainless stove generally have no screw thread so you cant store fuel onboard

    • @Sokol10
      @Sokol10 2 года назад

Store fuel inside stove sounds good, but in practice is not good idea. Trangia recommend do this only for short periods, they put a cap with seal in their burner for protect the internal linen wick against water, not for carry fuel.

      Or just “coffee” 😆
There are dozens of different ways to make coffee…I have tried most and liked most but they do all have different flavours so as long as you don’t get too hung up on it being a “right way” or “wrong way” and enjoy it as it comes you should be OK.
